great beach town restaurant. large outside eating. live band. games. delicious food. could use more staff on the busy nights. went with a party of 13 with small children and accommodated quickly on a busy night. a must try.
Local from Barnegat, been going to the island almost all my life. Needed to show the wife a nice Friday night out on the island, was reluctant to take her to the Northside as our experience last year wasn’t great but she insisted on giving it another try.
We were seated and the servers were nice, I had the fish tacos which were refreshing and delicious but my wife’s salmon was the star of the show. Full of flavor, cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious… and talk about presentation. Met the chef, Carmine, nice guy made my wife and I feel welcomed and appreciated. Told him we loved the food and he was very thankful. Gonna see him and the northside again soon!
Hostess with the black hair was really nice and polite food was delicious. First time going 10/10 recommend. Will definitely see myself heading back soon

Headed to the Northside about a week and a half ago for drinks with a friend. Great service!! Wonderful bartender - Dennis. Friendly and welcoming, made fantastic drinks for both my friend and I. We enjoyed a little banter and he shared some knowledge about the island and things to do. Great place, great drinks, great bartender! Highly recommend.
Went here for a couple drinks, wrap and fries and have absolutely no complaints! The atmosphere was very welcoming and open. Our waitress Jamie was an absolute sweetheart, she was so friendly and attentive to our orders with great recommendations on the menu! We will be coming back here and asking for Jamie!
I sat at the bar today and had the pleasure of having Kristen serve me. She was awesome and made my drinks perfectly. The food was good but Kristen is who made the night great! I also had the pleasure of talking to Morgan who was simply wonderful! Love this place and will return again!
I was told by a friend “Hey, watch out for the bald bartender there, he’s got a real way about him.” After a few beers, we were finally graced with his appearance and were immediately bombarded with banter about his wife, hangover, and everything the other bartenders had done wrong in his absence. At first, it seemed rude and uncouth — but over the next few hours, I slowly realized his rough outer shell gave way to a guy who was simply seeking camaraderie among his staff and patrons. He poured us a few beers (on the house, of course) as we reminisced about our hometowns, college football, and his insubordinate subordinates. A truly great time, couldn’t recommend this place enough. Smash burger was just okay though.
COVID has changed this place so that the main dining area is outside in what used to be the parking lot. Inside is a bit of a mess. Overall decent food and helpful staff. Atmosphere is about the best it can be given the location, but worth a stop. Basic menu.
Went on a Saturday afternoon about 4:00. Had the most delicious wings and a burger just the way we asked for it - very rare! Bartender Dennis, chatted with us and suggested we try a Barbie shot - excellent choice! Will definitely be back!
food was awesome . ahmed the manager came out and introduced himself which made us feel very welcome. service was fast and food was fresh and delicious drinks the watermelon margarita was to die for perfect after a good meal!!
A favorite on LBI, always enjoy the food and drinks when in Surf City. Staff is great, especially Dennis at the bar. He's able to suggest great cocktails based on the type of things you like and ensures a well crafted drink. Also keeps everyone positive with good conversation and ability to relate. I try to make it a point to stop here whenever I'm in the area.
This place is a family’s dream location. Outdoor seating after 4 pm was perfect. Activities for the kids to do while the adults could relax. And Fiona was exceptional!!!! She was first rate and was so responsive.
I’ve been here a few times. There’s a bartender outside name Jaime. She’s the sweetest. Great customer service, friendly and always a smile. Excellent bartender! Food is fabulous. Great local place!
