Ordered from here for the first time tonight. Food was awesome!! The wings were my favorite! We also had a burger, hotdog, spinach salad, and buffalo dip. Everything was delicious. As year-round island residents, it’s exciting to have a new place with great food and wonderful service. Next time we will eat in and enjoy a beer at the bar.
These are the best hotdogs I've ever had! Once you eat one, you will crave them. Lots of toppings to choose from and the toasted split top bun is the bomb! The burgers and salads are also very tasty and they even have homemade chips. I'm definitely trying the wings next. It's our 'go to' place for lunch at work. Try it - you won't be disappointed.
The food is fabulous and the people are kind and friendly. If you have not gone to have lunch or called in a to go order you really should. My favorite .....the hot dogs and the made from scratch soup! The soup is different everyday except Friday. Frida is claim chowder day! The owners, the chef and staff are really very kind people! Give them a try!
Buffalo Chicken Dog was Awesome!!! And since I am a got dog freak I had to try the Boxer, too, dog covered in house made pimiento cheese, bacon and jalapeno. Omg
Great addition to Surf City. Our group tried a standard dog, burger, cheese fries, beef nachos, quesadilla, carolina bbq wings and black beans. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Very filling too!

The food is incredible and the service is amazing. They actually messed up my to go order by forgetting to give me my soup. When they realized they had forgotten they actually delivered the soup to my house. You can’t beat that kind of service. I’d recommend them to anyone.

100% Sanitation rating! Hard to find around here. The servers are super attentive, the food is really good. It's pretty cool that the yummy ice cream sandwiches are made in Wilmington. Great place to bring the kids, everyone was happy. I was happy to be eating somewhere so clean for a change.

This food is awesome. It's hard to find good chicken salad, I found it here. Quesadilla was great too. I can't wait to try other things. Not only great food but the people are wonderful too!
Excellent food and service!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. We tried their salad, wings, burgers, dogs and fries. So glad to have this shop on the island! Can't wait to try their soups. I heard desserts are coming next week. Very, very clean too.

Best hot dogs I have had in years! I loved the Surf dog the chili was amazing! We also had buffalo chicken dip that was delicious, the owners are very nice and attentive, a great spot we definitely will return!!!

So yummy! The hot dogs are big and grilled along with the bun. Lots of toppings to choose from. Nice variety of menu options in addition to beer and wine.

This is a nice little grill at the end of a very busy (in the summer) strip mall. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food comes out piping hot. Our burgers, hotdog, and chicken sandwich were all dandy. You can substitute fried chicken for any burger, which I did, and it was one of the best I have ever had.
Fountain drinks include pink lemonade and Cheerwine, among others. You order at the end of the bar; there is very limited seating both inside and out. You can get a great meal here while not having to spend $30 per person, which is a bonus.
Was visiting my sister and brother in law during their visit in Surf City. They raves about having this place for lunch so I was definitely down to give it a try. Got a combo with the surf dog and standard hotdog. The fries and hot dogs were so good. Staff was friendly. Nice stop for a quick and hearty meal that will not leave you lacking.
Good food - service was good - atmosphere was laid back. It's a little pricy for what we got, but everything was good.
We went here last night for dinner. We didn't realize they had a special kids' night (1/2 price, plus free ice cream sandwich or cone for dessert), so that was an added bonus. Everyone was so friendly and eager to please (something I have been seeing less and less of in service industries) and the food was fantastic! My husband and I both ordered the Hampstead Burger. It was the best burger I've had since moving to NC a year ago!!! I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be coming back!
The people were nice and welcoming, the music was great and everything was clean and tidy. The food was amazing! I had the Surf Burger and it was cooked and crafted to perfection. From the perfect bun to the amazing crispy fries. This was a great place to go after a long day at the beach. 10/10 recommend!
Incredibly courteous and polite staff! Plenty of wine, whiskey & food selctions to choose from. The location is super convenient,..across dunes from the beach. Kudos to all the staff(s). We will definitely return again and again and again! There is plenty of spacious parking. I would still give more than 5 stars if possible.
My husbands buddy Brad is the chef here and 🤌 perfect is all I have to say. Their food is delicious and amazing ! Highly recommend!!
Lab was delicious. The cheese fries were perfectly gooey cheesy. Hamburger was likewise great. Staff was super nice but it was busy so they were understandably a bit slow.
Outside seating was nice but a bit more shade would have been preferable.
This place was absolutely fantastic. We ordered bacon cheddar fries, a small chicken tender basket with fruit, a double baked potato, and a Hampstead burger without slaw and bbq. Not only did everything come right, but it came hot and tasty. So not only was the food amazing, but the service was AWESOME. Everyone was kind and fast. Special credit to Erin (I hopes that's how it's spelled), she was so funny, nice, kind, and just genuinely outgoing. Every question we had, she answered honestly, and she made the atmosphere feel like a safe space :) 10/10 do indeed recommend, definitely will go back!!

I cannot brag enough on their daily specials! Tuesday’s spaghetti night is our weekly routine. They go over and beyond to please the customers. So thankful they’re here on the island.
