It was my first time and I was reluctant because of the outside appearance. Once inside the place was nice and clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Food was so very good, I would return and recommend this restaurant
This was our first trip here because we were wanting sushi and others had recommended it to us. Overall I'm glad we stopped in to try it!
We got 2 appetizers, crab rangoons and edamame, both were good.
4 of us got a selection of sushi including Rainbow Roll, Spider roll, Big D, and the Sushi Sashimi
The sushi was really good and fresh tasting. Egg rolls were also good although not quite the same as the ones we get at home.
This place is busy! We got to Surf City on a Friday and tried to order for takeout dinner. 2 hour wait! So we went later in the week and only waited a few for a seat.

We visit Fancy Sushi weekly and always have such a great experience! The staff as well as sushi chefs are always exceptional. The food is phenomenal. The sushi is freshly prepared and fantastic, great service, Big portions so come with an appetite or be prepared to take food home.
I would drive 2.5hrs to eat here again.
We order Chinese food for our Christmas dinner every year. This was our first time trying this place. It was very fresh and all flavors were on point with what we ordered. We will definitely try it again. Thank you for being open on Christmas Day.
Great food, Great Prices, Portion sizes are generous, authentic sushi, and customer service is perfection. This is my new favorite spot on the island! You will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to come back!
Surprisingly good!
From the outside it looks like a stomach ache waiting to happen. The inside is old school. However, the food, especially the sushi, is mind blowing.
Looks can be deceiving! Believe me, this place is fantastic!
My wife and I go to Fancy Sushi once a week. It’s our date night. We’ve gone for about 2 years consistently and previously Vivian and Yim had been the 2 servers in there. They are 2 of the most hardest working, nicest people you will ever meet.
