They had an awesome coupon deal, so we stopped in for dinner, after the mall. Stephanie was our Server. I ordered a large salad, which mind you, I was going to pack up a portion 'to go,' for my hubby, daughter, and whomever else at home. Stephanie said "Well, you probably won't because it is that good!" Ha! She was right! ...We also ordered a pizza, and garlic knots. The kitchen kinda messed up our order, and she came by to let us know, and mentioned that they were right on it with the correct order. Also, that they have an additional, large pizza, and if we would like to take it with. (Hungry family at home?!! Why, yes, please!!) We used to come here all the time. Most times, service wasn't so great. Stephanie was an exception from start to finish! Drinks replenished, and greeting and service with a smile from beginning to end! Most definitely!! Food was also great!! We will be back as regulars, once again! They also have Military discounts!

I've been here twice with my wife and my daughters ages 2 and 6. Both times the waiter/waitress has offered to give the kids dough to play with. The last time I was there my oldest dropped a slice of pizza on the floor. Not even a whole slice. The manager came by later and asked how we we're doing. We told her that we were doing well and my daughter blurted out that she dropped her pizza. I told her not to worry about it. A few minutes later the manager walks over with a slice of pizza for my daughter. I of course, made my daughter eat the entire thing and walk to the kitchen with me to thank the manager. Class act!!!! Always great service and great food.

NYPD pizza is the best pizza in the west valley. I have tried multiple places and nothing beats NYPD. The dough is the perfect consistency and a large pizza is certainly large. My favorite order is a half buffalo chicken pizza and half supreme style. Do not worry, I do not forgot the cheesy garlic knots. Overall, this is great place to eat and visit! Thank you and keep up the consistently great tasting food.

1st visit on a Thursday evening was good. Maybe we just got lucky and the place was not crowded, but the service was outstanding. I sat at the (tiny) bar while waiting for my girlfriend and was approached by one of the girls to let me know we they were ready for us as soon as she showed up. We took the corner table so we could sit next to each other and watch the goings-on. Our server was fantastic as she also trained a new girl. We ordered a 16" margarita pizza with garlic & artichoke hearts and a small spinach salad to share. Everything was very good. We ordered the pizza "crispy" and they went so far as to bring it to the table, show it to us, and ask if it was crispy enough. It wasn't so they gladly took it back and baked it another minute or two. Nice touch guys! I've never seen that even in the best pizza places. The manager also came around and asked how everything was, so I assume she would have made things right if they weren't. Overall a very nice experience and we'll be back. The place is small so try to pick off hours if you want to avoid a wait. The beer is cold too just in case you're curious, not like the barely "cool" beer over at Applebee's.

Tried NYPD for the first time recently and we sure enjoyed it. Wonderful flavor! Even the kids liked it, they wanted Domino's. A bit more expensive than the generic brands and a lot more tasty! Thanks for the great pizza.

Great pizza and a great manager. It's one thing to feel positive about a place when everything goes off without a hitch, totally different when you leave impressed after they make a big mistake. I ordered over the phone recently and the order accidentally didn't get submitted. I showed up and they couldn't find the order. The manager immediately comped my order and gave me a cup to get a fountain drink while I waited. They were really busy so I had to wait a while. The manager was very apologetic and sent me home with an extremely generous gift card. Most places barely apologize when stuff like this happens these days, much less compensate the customer. The lengths they went to make sure I left happy has made me a loyal customer. We just moved here from Delaware, so we grew accustomed to the NY style pizza. NYPD pizza is definitely authentic. The crust is easily my favorite in Surprise. They clearly use higher quality ingredients for everything. It doesn't come nearly as cheap as Papa Johns, but it's worth every penny. You'll quickly taste the difference.
