I ordered a family meal from this location this past weekend. Once I arrived home and opened the bag I realized the ribs I ordered were not in there. I live almost an hour away from this location so I was rather upset. I called and spoke with the manager Kayla. She quickly offered to rectify the discrepancy by bringing delivering the missing item to my home. It was definitely above and beyond what I expected and greatly appreciated. First inside experience at this establishment since the glorious introduction of the covid to our country. It seems BBQ’s are traditionally a southern style eatery and Jim N Nicks ranks among my top 3 at this juncture in time. Kind of an eclectic look inside with a combination of 1930’s style booths with dimly lite lamps that one might see in an old movie set at a speakeasy or cocktail lounge coupled with open ceilings and brick facade that brings an industrial feel much like you see at brewpubs that include Edison-style lighting fixtures and corrugated galvanized aluminum accents on wall spaces. Service at lunch was impeccable(shout out to Ashaun). Pulled pork plate is never a disappointment no matter what style sauce you go with. Sides were abound and a less restrictive menu allowed my wife and I to get collard greens(yum). No problems or issues with food promptness, food temperature, taste or proportion. I will return again to any Jim N Nicks establishment based on my positive experiences at this location.
Man the food is good here. Great bbq, great ribs, chicken tenders, and cole slaw. Only complaint I have on the food side is the banana pudding is way overpriced for what you get. On the service side I've only gotten pick up orders, and everyone has been super nice. They forgot my kids drink tonight, but that's on me for not noticing.
Exceptional food every time! Everything from the bbq to the dessert and drinks were great. This place is always on the list of restaurants to visit when we are near one of their locations!
Best BBQ in town. Very fast and friendly staff and the food is amazing. i love getting the beef brisket sandwich and the cheese biscuits are amazing! can be a little more pricey than others but it is worth it!
We've had Jim 'N Nick's catered in my work and it's been good. But today when I had it in the restaurant, it was delicious. Had the 2 meat plate with their sausage and brisket, plenty of food to split or have lunch the next day. Their BBQ sauce is fantastic as well, I especially enjoy the hot one. The cheddar muffin biscuit things, mmmm. They also had a few local brews to choose from, which is always nice to see.
Great waitress, very nice manager whi came and spoke and checked on us. Food came out fast, hot and fresh
