I've been coming here since I was a kid and they have kept all their original recipes, which is awesome because it's all so good! We love the smiley face cookies, double chocolate cookies, donuts, angel food cake and potato rolls! Those are just our favorites tho, many more great items! Associates are always kind and helpful.
An excellent bakery with long family history & a heirloom craft that is unmatched. Easily one of the best traditional (“old school”) bakeries west of Chicago. Highly recommend!!!
Best donuts around, too bad I arrived too late as most product was sold out. The day old rolls were tasty though.
I LOVE this home town bakery!!! BEST old fashioned caked, like when we were kids, around!!!!! The cinnamon bread is the best around.... Other places imitate it, but not the same. When my parents were living I'd mail to them in the state of Oregon!!! They loved it!! The cream filled long johns, cookies....STOP IT!!! THE BEST AROUND!!! and the ladies in the day time are so sweet!! Also this place has always provided employment for high school kids on the w/e's!!!!!
A great bakery in downtown Sycamore. I particularly enjoy the yearly Fat Fat Tuesday paczki's day! Always a great treat and everyone at work loves them. Lots of variety and tons of powdered sugar. They have frosting filled and fruit filled options. Staff and friendly and efficient.
My family loves Elleson's. Everything is great tasting, beautifully crafted and well priced. I love the old school building as well. The glass to floor walls gives an outside feel. Love it, I highly recommend.

Best donuts 🍩 in town. Period.
When I first visited this location several years ago I was surprised to find out that they only accepted cash at this location. This was a pretty big sticking point for me because I almost exclusively use credit cards for most purchases. However, when I visited this location nearly a month ago I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they now accept electronic payment. For me this means that I’ll be able to visit this location more regularly.
