Fast delivery. I have never been inside and from the other reviews, that may be a good thing. I have had the mongolian beef extra spicy and it is great. A lot of food for under six bucks. I have also had the kung pao chicken and loved it. So two out of two items are great. The crab rangoon was not great, but it rarely is unless you make it yourself or go to PF Changs.
I have ordering meals for more than a decade. They provide the best tasting Chinese cuisine in the area. If you are looking for a location for date night, this is not your place. Carry out is the main focus of this restaurant. English is not the first language spoken here, so be patient with the owner, if you are he will provide you with a absolutely wonderful meal. Prices are very reasonable for the huge amount of food, I always get two meals worth of food. Place isn't perfect , but I can overlook customer service in order to get the best tasting Chinese food in the area! So when you have that need for a easy carry out Chinese meal, give this restaurant a chance!
Yes, the place is a dive. Yes, it is a small town mostly take out/delivery place. Yes, the food really is good. Like the previous reviewer stated, it isn't 5 star cuisine but it's not meant to be. It's filling and spicy and tastes good. We order here at least once a month because it is the best non-chain Chinese restaurant in the area.
Have never had a problem with with this place. The owner is straight from China and doesn't speak English very well, so sometimes it's hard to get things across. Most people that order from here want 4 or 5 star quality food and service for a 6 dollar meal that fills, then are angry when it isn't what they expect. This is a small town chinese place and that's what you're ordering from, expect it to be just that. Decent food, fun staff to talk to, and great prices.
I order delivery via Doordash to Sycamore, IL. The food is always fresh and delicious. Try the fried dumplings. The white rice is always perfect. The prices are more than fair and the food quality is good. Anything they make with tempura batter comes out perfectly!
