Not from the Syracuse area but was just in the area for work drove by and saw this deli with a bunch of cars so I assumed it was going to be good and I stopped in. Yes the long was lying but worth the wait and wasn't a slow line. I ended up getting a whole gluten-free roast beef sandwich. Also an antipasto salad and the carrot ginger soup. The antipasto salad was already pre-made but fresh that day which I ended up having for dinner. The carrot ginger soup was a period soup that was freshly made in house Rich delicious flavors. And the star of the show was my gluten-free roast beef sandwich which was technically two sandwiches so I had two lunches out of that. The roast beef was flavorful. I ended up putting lettuce tomato, banana peppers and provolone cheese. I definitely love the pickles that were included as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Brooklyn Pickle. This, I think, is a Syracuse thing. If you know, you know!! If you're from out of town, hunt one of their locations down. Which ever is closest, and get yourself a sandwich !! Today, I was on the west side, so we stopped in for lunch, to go. Rarely do I get a sub from them, because, well, sandwiches!!! Simple ham Swiss tomatoes lettuce onions and mayo. Fantastic !! Homemade cookie. Homemade Mac salad - out the door I went !! Well worth your time to stop.

Best deli sandwiches I've had in Syracuse. We stop in often when we travel to Syracuse from Endicott, NY. Have tried a number of the sandwiches, but there are many more to try. Employees are very friendly and efficient. Plenty of room to dine in if you choose. I highly recommend.

Sandwiches were amazing, Mac n cheese IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD... Love how half the kids just hang out in the back near the register chit chatting, while the old lady is banging them sandwiches out, and 2 other girls are actually working. GREAT sandwhich!

I'm a complete sandwich connoisseur and this place was incredible. Wonderful staff and service and the sandwich...Superb! We halved the corned beef and the meat was so fresh and not salty at all. Oh and the Russian dressing 🤤 definitely get a whole pickle too!!

The sandwiches are incredible. I have been getting lunch here about twice a month for 2 years and have never once had a complaint until just recently. They switched from the fresh crispy lettuce you see in all their photos to bland shredded lettuce. Very disappointed in this change but the sandwich is still good. I recommend "The Pickle".

On my first visit to this location of Brooklyn Pickle, I enjoyed a hot pastrami sandwich. The meat was heated in a microwave. It was lean, tender, and generously portioned. I had it topped with raw onion, coleslaw (which has to be purchased separately in a small tub) and thousand Island dressing. The dark rye bread was terrific. My only complaints were that the thousand island dressing was barely distinguishable from mayonnaise, and, surprisingly, the pickle slices that accompanied the sandwich hadn't been aged long enough to have any flavor. The restaurant is named the Brooklyn Pickle, so how did that happen? The counter personnel were friendly and efficient. Although they were quite busy when we arrived, we didn't have to wait very long for our sandwiches.
