First off, the restaurant is beautiful . We got the full loaf of bread, which is big! Half loaf is plenty. We also got the 2 cheese platter and a burrata salad. All amazing. For entree , we both ordered the burger. Very, very good. Highly recommend this place! Our server Aaron was awesome! Never an empty wine glass...

The veggie cauliflower dish was superb! Chicken wings was delicious as well. Place was crowded. On the higher end in terms on price & quality.

The menu was varied and interesting. The dishes we ordered were tasty and well prepared. The service was a bit rushed, even though the restaurant was fairly empty. Overall, good food and good drinks! I'd like to see more relaxed and professional service to match the upscale ambiance.

Every aspect of our meal was excellent! From the flavor, to the temperature to the preparation and presentation, everything was top notch. The only downer was that it was a bit chilly inside the restaurant, although admittedly, we were one of the first ones there so that was not a lot of human heat as it were. The plus side was getting to see our daughter who was hostess at this fine establishment!

Citronelle was great. The atmosphere was nice, it was also deceptively spacious on the inside. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the seasonal/daily menu items. We ordered several small plates to share, and everything was well prepared and flavorful. Pricing was maybe a tiny bit pricey but all in all, you pay for quality. My only real complaint that killed our evening a bit was the wobbling table we were seated at. Overall an enjoyable experience.

The mussels were superb as was the whole meal. The wait staff was terrific and the bartender was welcoming as was "Billy" , the Maitre D. The sound level in the room was controlled. We had plenty of space to have a private conversation at our table. The decor, the lighting all so classy. We had a wonderful evening there. We'll surely be back.

I dined here with my family on New Years Eve, because we wanted to try a restaurant that we've never been to. Everything was generally good, the food, service, and ambiance. I ordered a mussels appetizer and the strip steak for my entree, and both were excellent. They also have a great beer, wine, and liquor selection which is an added bonus!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. First, the decor is gorgeous. The wine list was extensive and we were very pleased with our selection as advised by our server, John. Cheese board was great not to mention the steak. Perfect job. Finished up with the server's suggestion of the tiramisu bombe. You have to try it! Service, food, decor all 5/5 stars!

Incredible food. Beautiful surroundings. Service was on point. Best steak I have eaten in 20 years. Tuna poke, roasted Brussels, cheese and charcuterie, scallop ceviche.. Jist divine. My hubby's mushroom gnocchi was amazing too. We usually order too much and take our leftovers home. We ordered too much and ate every bite! Can't wait to go back.

this is, far and away, the best place to get a cocktail in Syracuse. the food never disappoints, but when I'm having dinner of a similar calibre elsewhere I'm ALWAYS disappointed with the drinks they pour. the only place in Syracuse to properly make a vesper, the best margarita you can get, and they'll pull together a paloma if you ask politely. it may sound kitsch, but ask for the colour changing margarita, it's showy but backed up with great taste

Went to Citronelle while visiting Syracuse for a wedding. We ordered the calamari and lamb lollipops as an appetizer and were blown away! Both were absolutely delicious! I had the ribeye for my dinner and it was amazing! Best ribeye I’ve ever had! Cooked a perfect “medium rare”. Our server, John, advised me that the chef cooks the steaks exactly as described and he was spot on! Still keep thinking about that steak and how I could replicate it at home. For dessert, we split the 3 scoops of ice cream...corn, black sesame, and berry flavored!! Out of this world! Highly recommended Citronelle! We came from Massachusetts but if in Syracuse again, will be dining there again.
