With Family from Oregon, Arizona and Michigan we made our stop at Harrison’s, It is a must. You didn’t disappoint. The half moon cookies were out of this world and customer service was fantastic. It was like stepping back in time
Excellent bakery. Wonderful staff. Always a treat to stop in. I have never been disappointed. Thanks.
Great place. Great staff. Great sweets. Love this place. Thank you guys for always coming through for me and my family when we need it.
The ONLY place I get donuts! The peanut and regular glazed are in a league of their own! I usually get 12 for the shop I work in but unfortunately I end up eating almost half of them #fatguyproblems
No visit back to my hometown is complete without a visit to Harrison Bakery - Rye bread, Half moon cookies and of course, the giant Chocolate Chip Cookies!!
My mom worked in Syracuse and we lived way outside of Camillus...special childhood treat was a dozen donuts..Favs: Old fashions, powdered, peanut covered and those cinnamon sugars...FYI..I live in Alexandria, Virginia and went to the new Wegmans and spotted only lonely 2 halfmoon cookies....needless to say..I was purely disappointed! Not Harrison worthy! I am spoiled.
Dear Harrison's Bakery. You did not disappoint yesterday. Travelled from San Antonio, Texas to get my fill.
Your half moon cookies have been my fav since the 1970's. Others TRY to replicate; but to no avail.
Your peanut donuts cannot be found in Texas and therefore, I have to travel across country for yours.
I shared pics to my siblings of which they were jealous. I have many days of samplings to enjoy before Ieave New York.
Thanks for being authentic, fresh, and finally getting credit card machines. Helen F.
The best brownies there are around the donuts are amaxing the raspberry strudel is priceless..
harrison is best bakery, from half moon to specitly breads rye lite or dark poppy seed i could eat the pies and cakes all the time
4-1-17 around 12 noon was a great experience.. Accept that myself and the customer before me could remember a day when 13 was the bakers dozen. We were informed " not here" we all had a good moment of chuckle. But as a bakery that I'm sure in the past has had a bakers dozen policy. What changed? Your bakery is the best around regardless.. Just curious..
Thank You from Tipp Hill
I live in Kentucky. Harrison is the first place I stop when I come home. I too remember Harrison from Eastwood. Every Friday my grandmother would come over bringing Half Moons! They still taste as good today as they did when I was five!
Huge Thank you to the owner Mike for generous donation of bread and pastries for Easter Breakfast in Golisano oncology unit in Syracuse

Drove 600 miles for the Half Moon cookie! Worth every mile.
Been going to Harrison for years and this weekend we ordered a cake from them for the first time. The German Chocolate Cake was extraordinary! The best bakery in Syracuse by far. Incredible!
My Dad just got out of the hospital so my wife stopped by with our friend to get some treats for him and us.
The customer service and selection was amazing, and the lady at the counter gave my wife's friend a donut, (her friend is special needs, and the nicest person, I love when people who don't have the opportunity to interact with folks with special needs extend kindness the way she did.)
Very nice experience and they deserve the 5 stars!
Placed a large order for my wedding reception last weekend. Everything was delicious as always! The woman who helped place my order was outstanding and so helpful! I'm so disappointed I forgot her name because she deserves recognition for being awesome! There are a lot of comments about the price increase, but every business has to do it to survive. I would gladly pay more to help them out and continue to keep them in business. Support your local bakery!
Incredible bakery, fresh and delicious, friendly staff, love the string tied boxes, so glad I found this place, can't wait to return!
It doesn't matter if you call them Black and Whites or Half Moon cookies, I think we'll all agree the ones made at Harrison Bakery are the best you've eaten. I've not seen them with a chocolate cookie anywhere else. I prefer the traditional, but the variant is worth a try. The cookie is more like a flat cupcake, which is just the way I like it. The icing is excellent. There are many more treats here that are just so good. I'd recommend the Danishes and the Poppy Seed Strudel will make you think you're in a European kitchen. At the moment, the city of Syracuse is making it a bit of a challenge to get here and Waze isn't aware of the detours. That's probably because the counter person says they change almost daily. It's worth the trip to find a way to get here, you won't be disappointed.
So friendly!!! It was my first half moon cookie (I'm new to the area) and the staff was so sweet that I got lots of other fun stuff too. We will be regulars!
Better than advertised!! Everything I tried was so gooooood. The staff was super friendly and informative.
First time here! I pass it every day on my way to and from work. I was so pleasantly surprised! Bought a delicious apple pie and loved the way it was placed in a box tied with string ! Will definitely come again to try the other treats.
Loved the apple fritter, cookies and brownie. The dark rye with caraway is a must try. As we were leaving, a police officer came in for.a sweet treat so you know it's gotta be good!
I found this place all thanks to a friend of mine that lives in the area. By far it is one of the best bakeries in the Syracuse area. Fresh bread, cookies, cakes, pies, donuts. I order from this place very often as a treat for my fellow employees .. The peanut butter and jelly donuts are incredible..
I drive from Oswego to come here - it’s the only bakery I really care to go to anymore. Everything I’ve tried here is delicious, all the employees I have dealt with are beyond friendly, and the prices are ridiculous (in a good way).
Was the best birthday cake I've had in many years thanks to my daughter Katie who found you
Our new bakery 🧁
great prices, great service and everything tastes so delicious!! one of the best bakeries in syracuse.
I grew up in Syracuse, NY. I have fond memories of the Harrison Bakery! They have the most delicious cakes and cookies around. My favorites are the Half Moon cookies!

My 6yo son loves their vanilla cookies, they are always super kind and very attentive. One of those rare places that still has a local family owned feel to it, I prefer to support these local small businesses because there are less and less of these gems all the time.
Amazing variety of fresh baked donuts, cookies, breads, cakes... I could go on... But the HALF MOONS! You will never leave disappointed!
