I walked in 20 minutes early accidentally, and the staff were still incredibly polite. They let me get seated, started taking my order, and even got me some food before they officially opened. Additionally, the food itself was really good. I recommend trying all of the sauces. I was blown away. Hoping to come back here in the future with some friends.
The food was amazing, the vibe of this place gave LA vibes . I would return in a heartbeat. If you like frozen margaritas and tacos come here . Also , the menu had dietary options like GF , dairy free which I love because I’m lactose intolerant.
This was excellent! Our waitress was great, and so was everything else. We ordered a pitcher of hot lips margaritas, and it was delicious. The perfect spice amount! The chips and salsa were solid as well, and a great way to test out the hot sauces. I had carne asada taco, general tso shrimp, gringo, and black bean tacos. They were all tasty, especially the carne asada. I highly recommend coming!
If you like tacos, you have to try this place! The margaritas are $4 on Fridays and they were delicious and come in so many flavors! Chips and salsa with guacamole was good but the lobster tacos are where it's at!! So flavorful and they put a decent amount of lobster meat on them! The Carne Asada was amazing too. The atmosphere is noisy but that's okay especially if you have kiddos. Definitely recommend!!!
I had my Bridal Shower here and have nothing but positive things to say! Chris, Mary Ann, Danille and the whole catering team did absolutely amazing!! The space upstairs was perfect and everyone loved the taco and margarita bar! Thank you for helping put on such fun and memorable event!
Some of the tastiest tacos i have ever had. Cool place and quick service. Carne asada was my favorite.
Popped in for a quick lunch by myself at the bar. Dany (Danyelle) was my server/bartender and she was fantastic. Personable, great recommendations and not overbearing. Had a spicy margarita - it was perfect. Ordered tacos - all of them were amazing, came out fast and were fresh. The curry cauliflower taco SLAPPED. Perfect little taco spot. Will definitely be back.

Great time here at XO Taco.
I was staying at the Crowne Plaza right around the corner. I noticed XO on google maps and it had great and consistent reviews, so I decided to take a short walk.
I was surprised to see that at 8pm on a Tuesday (Taco Tuesday) night, the place was packed! All of the outside tables and most of the inside tables were occupied. The environment was very live and trendy. Lovely decor. Neat, clean and modern.
I was taken to an open table. There is a QR code that you can scan to view the menu which has tacos, burritos, chicken tenders and a bunch of other items. If you want to order tacos, you will be given is little checklist where you can check of the types and quantities of tacos you want.
There is also a full bar there and they serve a variety of beers, wines, mixed drinks and margaritas.
I ordered a few different tacos ($5-6 each) and a beer ($4-6). The wait for food wasn't long...about 10-15 minutes...not bad given how busy they were. The tacos were delicious. They also have some tasty sauces on each table with various heat intensities.
All staff I encountered, including my server, were friendly, patient and helpful. Super positive environment. I would love to return when I am in town again to try some other items.
My first visit to XO Taco and I decided to order Arabica Beef, General Tso’s Shrimp, Carne Asada Tacos & Hot Lips for the Margarita. So happy I found my favorite place for taco’s in Syracuse.
I enjoyed the lobster tacos. Best lobster tacos I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the carnitas and chicken tacos. So well made, great combination of flavors. I got a shot of Agave Azul which obviously raised my price. But I’m so glad they have some great top shelf tequila options. The guava margarita was so flavorful, the perfect amount of sweetness, and a great compliment to the food. I’m sad I don’t live in Syracuse. If I did, this would be a regular stop for me, maybe minus the top shelf tequila on each visit lol. Totally worth a try, I highly recommend. The atmosphere is really chill as well. All in all I’m super satisfied. A huge fan of this spot
My mother and I stopped in looking for a few drinks and a quick bite before a Syracuse game and let me tell you, we were so glad we did!!! The bartender Manny was incredible and very knowledgeable about certain tequilas and overall made it a great experience. The food came fast and was hot & delicious. The restaurant filled up quick and the staff all seemed hard working and attentive. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town!
Our flight got delayed leaving Syracuse and we stumbled upon XO. My husband seriously said “can we plan a trip back to Syracuse just to go back to XO”! Fantastic margaritas, flavorful dishes. The lobster burrito is extremely unique, setting XO apart from other restaurants. Service was perfect. The entire restaurant was clean including restrooms. Highly recommend!
Loved my burrito. Looked beautiful, tasted great. Not wet and sloppy like a lot of other places. The hot sauces there are excellent too. I bought 2 of them. We also got the Macho Fries. They were tasty, but incredibly massive and would probably feed 4 people. I wish they added more guacamole to the fries. I cant wait to come back to the area and try some other things on the menu.
The pork pibil is an adventure in history as you taste the unique and real native Mexican spice blend.
The lobster taco is of course a bourgeoisie treat, but who doesn't want to try a lobster taco?
Xo Taco is a fun spot to grab a bite and drinks with friends. Immediate seating is almost impossible, but waiting at the bar and trying fun drinks makes the wait-time fly by. The Curry Cali and Hot Chix tacos were terrific, as well as the purple rain margarita and guava mojito. Although XO tends to fill up, it's a fun environment with fantastic food and excellent staff!
One of my new favorite taco spots in Syracuse. Lots of variety on the tacos, incredible margaritas and other drinks, and an incredible atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for more at XO Taco. I would really recommend the Arabica Beef taco, really great depth of flavor with beef so tender it just melts in your mouth. The margaritas have a wide variety from traditional to some that have a nice kick of heat to them. I will definitely be going back here again, it is a must visit if you are a Syracuse native or if you are just passing through!

I decided to eat there on the very good reviews and the proximity to my hotel, as a first timer in Syracuse. The interior decor and ambiance is very pleasant! I was received by some very polite employees and served by a joyful Joanna. The service was super efficient all dinner long.
I ordered 2 so-cal fish tacos for entrée, which were delicious!!
My main course was the howlito beef burrito, way bigger than expected. The taste, just spicy enough and so good. My only suggestion would be to have the fries a bit more crunchy (because of the time it takes to eat that whole burrito).
I had a request for the kitchen to remove any cilantro outside the slaw. Everything was done according to my request.
I strongly recommend this restaurant.
Great spot to go with friends. Its really nice to be able to pick exactly how many tacos you want. Very flexible for groups with different hunger levels. Make sure to check out their deals for drinks. The ambiance is fun. It does get super busy tho
