Worth the drive. This unassuming exterior hides a talented chef with some damn fine culinary chops. There’s also a gifted bar tender that makes craft cocktails with impressive flavor profiles. The spicy cocktail with mezcal blew us away by how balanced it was. Nothing overpowered us in that drink, expertly blended. Reasonable prices considering the quality. Friendly service. Great place!

EXTRA EXTRA, Read all about it!!! I have never given any kind of review for a business before. However, there's a first time for everything and I'm absolutely compelled to give a raving review to Bar Bistro, for being the conduit through which I experienced nirvana and utter bliss on the evening of June 29th, 2018 after sinking my teeth into the VERY best hamburger which I have ever had in my life. Accompanied with the burger were the most savory sweet potato fries, which weren't dry, under or over cooked. They were the right tastebuds tantalizing texture. My awesome server, Jaclyn was courteous, respectful, and polite. Eric, the owner was very hospitable and even took the time to come over to my table and give me an informative run down on the history and present day news of the establishment. I even witnessed Eric remember and apologize to a nearby patron who had received a messed up order the last time which she had visited. The chef personally brought her meal out and he too apologized profusely. What am I trying to convey? Bar Bistro is a hidden gem! A sensual, seductive, and satisfying secret. The service is stellar, the decor is akin to any alluring, and the food is absolutely amazing. 5 star quality. I implore you make the time to visit Bar Bistro. You certainly will not be disappointed!

Went in a group of 6, we go out monthly and try different places. We ordered mainly from the appetizers. A virgin bloody Mary meal you can't go wrong, an egg, bacon, olives, cheese, toast and a very good slice of pepperoni stick and the best hot spicy tomato juice. We tried the spicy prawns which were hot but amazing couldn't get enough of the sauce dipped my toast in it. We tried the hash which I will get next time. I had the duck confit bao, really wasnt what I was expecting. The duck was a little overcooked, and is the only item we tried that isnt on the gotta have it again list. The Cuban was a hit with my husband, though one thought the meat was a little dry. The chicken and waffles come with a beer cheese on them which was a different flavor, there was nothing left so I would say a hit. If you like paella there was plenty of seafood on it and was rated very good. The charcuterie (meat, cheese, jelly, bread and olive) platter was plentiful and excellent. Dessert yes even though we were all stuffed. Creme brulle was good, reminded me more like a custard. Others tried the PBnJ donuts I was to full. Overall the food was great and we will return.
One of my favorite places to eat, had to take my Dad Wednesday for lunch he had a burger on a gluten-free bun and potato fries he really liked it a lot, I had a cuban with fries very yummy 😋 and we both had a bloody Mary yummy drink and our waitress was wonderful 😁
Just had an amazing birthday celebration dinner for my husband at Bar Bistro. Every dish we had (lamb shank, Paella, Traditional Cuban, Crab Bisque, Lobster Aglio E Olio, Strawberry Rhubarb Beignets, Warm Chocolate Lava Cake....and even the Mac & Cheese for the granddaughter) were excellent. Haven't enjoyed a meal like this in a long time. And our waitress , Jaclyn, was so attentive, helpful and welcoming! You need to try this place! You won't be disappointed.
Loved everything about this place. Drinks, service, food and atmosphere...I applaud you ����� and the middle of nowhere too. So glad that our moment if impulse led us to this gem. Highly recommend the mussle appetizer and the signature drink Darkness ���
We where looking for a good date night spot near the house and found this amazing place.The food was delicious and I would definitely go back and recommend this place to my friends. Driving by you would not think to stop by luckily we did!!! Definitely going back!!!
The best burger I ever tasted and that's saying alot! It wasn't even my burger, it was my bestfriends, she added bacon and Avacados! I had the duck which was amazing too!
I loved everything! My cocktail (5 peppers was truly delicious) the service amazing, and the food soooo good. Coming from Chicago and always longing for good food, I have to say this place made my heart happy!
My husband and I went here tonight for dinner as I saw good reviews on Yelp and I was looking for a place with good macaroni and cheese. They didn't let us down.
My husband ordered the vegetable curry (he added prawns for an additional charge). I ordered the macaroni and cheese with chicken and it came out with crab on it instead. When brought to our waitress' attention, they brought me out the correct meal. Not only that, but they boxed up the incorrect order for us, and made us a special dessert, all complimentary. Eric, the owner(?), was very apologetic, though he didn't need to be, mistakes happen and it didn't bother us, even without the extras.
We will definitely be telling our friends about this place and going back in the future. Note - no comments on the drinks because baby on the way.
Definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Food and service was great. My wife an I will absolutely be back...
mellow gastropub vibe with amazing food just like you’d find in downtown Seattle, but close to home & half the price. I can easily see myself becoming a regular here.
