I came here on a Friday afternoon and ordered shrimp with vegetables. Nothing else ordered the meal was about $20. If you want rice it's extra. We used to love coming here! Sadly, the portions have shrunk over time so much that I left still hungry. The last 2 times, the same waitress was abrupt, even tho we tip well. Just not worth my time anymore.

Order the Walnut Prawns and the shrimp fried rice. Awesome, best I have had in Lakewood. I will be returning many more times.

Hunan Garden Restaurant has moderately good food with unusual takes on old recipes. However, the hostess and the server were very unfriendly. Hostess made us feel like criminals when we had logical questions about the menu. In fact she smiled only when we were leaving. Will not return!

We love Hunan Garden, owners and staff. Our tradition of Cristmas Eve dinner went beyond expectation for beautiful tasting food and service. It's tough to pick my favorite though I will go back for the hot/sour soup and egg roles.
