What a wonderful Italian restaurant! All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially our waiter, Jack. Rarely do we have a waiter who will slow down to answer questions and have short conversations. He was also very professional and good at his job. The food was sensational! Too bad we couldn't have a sampler plate to try everything on the menu. Lol. We finished off our meal with the Crostada dessert, with berries under the ice cream!
We showed up on a springtime Saturday evening, all dressed up and resevationless. Luck would have it that there was a table clearing out, in the bar. Further good fortune; Macaluso's serves their full menu, in the bar!
Service was impeccably excellent, even with a full house; friendly, attentive, knowledgeable.
As per always, the eats were fantastic! For a simple, delectable starter, I recommend the arancini. We followed up with linguine vingole (noodles in olive oil, and lemon with streamed clams), and pasta arribiata ("angry" sauce). There was a rich, slightly sweet Lambrusco, by the glass, which paired well with the zesty spice of the arrabiata.
Macaluso's feels like dining with my enormous Italian-Ameican family, and I adore it!
Amazing food and equally fantastic service!!!
I love being able to leave raving reviews and this is one of them.
I've worked in the industry and I know what it takes to give great service and this was a treat!
Our servers knowledge of the menu, the specials, and how to tweak their menu to support varying food requirements was exceptional. The recommendations for dishes were great, they didn't go straight to the most expensive dish to boost tips. Our server truly recommended fantastic dishes and did a great job of pairing wines with the specific dishes ordered.
We had a larger group with a reservation and they were ready for us when we arrived. They were very accommodating with the kids which only helped make the evening that much better.
I have found a new favorite Italian restaurant! We will be back!
1) Appetizers (3/5): We ordered the Arancini Balls and Prosciutto Con Burrata, as well as bread for the table. I did not try the balls, but I heard they were good. The burrata was a bit disappointing, as the bread they use was very thin. I think the bread was better for a bruschetta. Bread for the table was delicious but it is $4.
2) Entree (5/5): My table ordered Spaghetti E Polpette, Pappardelle "Beaulognese", Tagliatelle Pesto, and the Classic Chicken Parmigiana. My table was very pleased with their food. I believe the Spaghetti E Polpette has a bit of a kick to it, it's not too spicy but it might have some spice. I had the Pappardelle "Beaulognese" which was delicious, and very good day two as a leftover. The Classic Chicken Parmigiana had two chicken breasts. Which was more than enough for one person.
3) Dessert: My table had Spumoni and Limoncello Marscapone Cake. I tried the Limoncello Cake, while the table loved it, it was not for me. It was a bit too tart for my preference, but then again I typically do not like lemon flavored pastries.
4) Customer Service (5/5): Our waitress was very nice and charismatic. It did take a while for our table to receive their wine but besides that the timeliness was fine.
5) Building/Ambiance/Etc (3/5): The ambiance itself was fine, lively and busy. My only disappointment was the entry way. They had these black curtains to close off the restaurant from the entrance and the restaurant receptionist. It made the entrance seem very squished almost claustrophobic. Also, the receptionists were using this light that was attached to the stand, but the light against the black curtains and dark outside color, it made the light rather blinding.
Great outdoor seating for dog friendly dining. Amazing food! Pasta tasted like it was made from scratch. Best bread I've ever had. Honestly the bread alone is worth a visit

Came here to celebrate a belated birthday dinner. We started off with some amazing arancini over a bed of arugula (so damn good), and #calamari with a light aioli, #sidecaesarsalads, and a #capresesalad. For entrees we had the #risotto (omg yum!), #AglioOlio (love the lemon touch), & made in house #gnocchiwithsausageinmarinarasauce (those gnocci were so pillow fluffy soft!). Desserts were the #tiramisu, #limenchello , & #chefschoice freshly made #strawberrycrostada. I enjoyed bites of ALL THREE!!! Wine and cocktails were GOOD too. The meatball meals we got to go smelled #delicious too!!!

Went there for my fiance's birthday and had an amazing experience. The interior is very classy, there is a good selection of wines and the starters and entrees were absolutely amazing . They also bake their own bread on spot and it was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable and the whole place had an amazing vibe - great combo of a classy restaurant without being stiff. Loved it. Will be back. :) Grazie :)
Our waiter(Sam) was fantastic, the food is fabulous and fair price; very romantic setting, but also get gathering place .
The entrees are great , just ask for the special and what's good. My friend and I went here to get a new experiences. And we are both Satisfied with the food!
