Go for the Zarape dip, stay for everything else!
Have a nearly 20 year history with the restaurant and it rarely disappoints! The chicken soup is some of the best around, grab mine with no rice or rice on the side to take full advantage of the delicious broth!
Sooo good! We were recommended this place by a local and I’m so glad we stopped in. The food has great flavor, the queso is amazing, and the sweet tea is perfect. It’s a perfect little hole in the wall place with authentic Hispanic atmosphere and very friendly people. The food is great and so is the service. 10/10 recommend stopping in. I will be coming back next time I’m in town. P.S. I’m from Texas so you can trust my opinion. I know my Mexican food. ;)
Always pleasurable,. We have not experienced a bad meal yet amd we go quite often. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Service and food is great!! Everything from being seated to the food being served has very little to no wait. Food is straight from the grill, with a hot plate to go with it. We have not experienced a single problem and we have been dining there for years!!!
Pretty good food and good prices. My favorite in town now. Only complaint is sometimes they mess up my order. Every now and then. Last time I asked for guacamole and did not receive it. Still like the food and will continue to order from there. They can get pretty busy, mistakes happen.
Have eaten there 3x, ordering the fried Tilapia dinner, which is the BEST ever!!!
The meal did take a while to come to the table on my 1st visit, but they were very busy that night and the waiter apologized. Not a problem when less busy.
Oh boy, it is an amazing meal with grilled onions underneath the fish that was not breaded, thankfully. It doesn't come with rice and beans or Sour Cream, but I ordered them as sides.
The flan was very good!
I ordered an extra meal of tamales for the next day, but they were very dry and not tasty.
I had plenty of the Tilapia dinner to take home, as well.
The waiter was awesome!
One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever tried!
This is one of the place I miss about Tahlequah the most! (Aside from family and some friends...) Mom and I were back in the area a couple of months ago, and this is the place we HAD to go to. The chips are thin and crispy, the salsa is great!
We had the chicken soup - and it was fantastic as usual! Service was good, people were helpful and friendly - the same family has had this place for YEARS.
If you're a local, you already know it's great - if you're passing through, give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
Very delicious, possibly the best enchiladas I've eaten. My husband had Texas fajitas that were full of shrimp. Good, fast and friendly. Will be going back.
Really good.. pur first time there and it was my birthday dinner with family. My husband said best carnita tacos he has ever had..the chicken and steak on my nachos was too dry and I couldn't eat but the shrimp on it was amazing is my only complaint
