The location is beautiful, right on the lake. They have a huge patio for seating and their staff is amazing. We had a wonderful server that made our experience even better. The food was fresh and tastful. If you are looking for a quite spot to eat this is not the place. They have a lot of steps which makes it difficult to get around. However I would go again.
Except for it feeling like college kids working summer jobs, this place was really good. Had the fish tacos and were very favorable. They really cram you on the deck so be warned you don't have an inch between tables. Beautiful view of lake. Got bad reviews from our hotel we are staying at but I would go back.
Sunnyside restaurant is fantastic. Pretty small menu. But very very good. The deep fried zucchini was fantastic. Drinks were great! Would recommend to anyone coming to Lake Tahoe!
I used Sunnysides for my rehearsal dinner venue and it was perfect. They situated us in the Emerald Room, which was inside with windows so you could get great views of the lake outside. A lot of the party wandered out to the deck to see the lake and watch the sunset. Ali, who organized the event was amazing. She was so friendly and attentive and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Ashley was also very helpful and made sure everyone had their drink filled at all times. Everyone loved the fish tacos and especially raved about the hula pie. I would recommend Sunnyside's and Ali for your event
We made reservations here and they did not show them when we arrived. We were seated instead in a small table with not much view. We complained to the manager and said we had reservations that they lost he said the were sorry but they were booked. Then we noticed the bar outside. We asked if we could order food there they said yes. The server seemed irritated that we got up and left but oh well. We leapfrogged from our dinner table to the bar and stood there for a few minutes with yummy drinks. Then migrated to a wonderful small table right along the lake with the boats coming and going. The food was pretty good. Some of the other guests were obnoxious and did not know how to act in public. We caught a glimpse of our server on the way out and apologized but she had no interest in returning the gesture
We ate at Sunnyside for lunch and sat at the bar. Serves were friendly and nice and the food was delicious. I had baby back ribs and they were great. We also ordered pulled pork tacos that were amazing. Awesome views and great food. Can’t beat that!!

The service was prompt and the 5 of us were seated actually a bit earlier on a Saturday evening on Labour Day weekend.

Our server, Megan, was extremely accommodating (we wanted a warmer spot on a breeze evening after a storm) She was also very quick and truly a pleasure to be around.

Drinks came fast and they were good.
Appetizers came also very fast.
Had the ceviche and the fried zucchini. Both very good!
Then we had the Filet Mignon and the Sunnyside Burger and the Tahoe Buddha Bowl, Chicken Duo. The food was really good!
We ended with the Kimo’s Original Hula Pie. Delicious!
Everybody truly enjoyed their evening.

What an incredible night. The weather was perfect. Sunset lighting the clouds. The setting was perfect for the chef's creations. Our service was spot on and timely with the drinks, appetizers and dinner. Thanks for the memories.
Gave it a 4 star, because it's on a waterside location, but a little off the main area of shopping, activities and restaurants. Great views with a beautiful outdoor lakeside dining area, weather permitting. Can be pricey but overall, food is good.
Nice busy place. Food was ok could be better. Its the views that make it here. Parking in front is very tight. Service, she was busy running around not as personable as other staff I saw. Lots of water boys to help serve water. This restaurant, its ok. Known for a gooey cake tho. No coke refills tho.
Stayed there for a wedding. Charming, cabin-like rooms with amazing continental breakfast. And being right on Lake Tahoe isn't so bad either 😉

Such nice place for any occasion. We loved our time visiting.
The restaurants view was gorgeous. You can see the lake tahoe. In addition to that, there's a rental or paddle board, and boats nearby if you want to dip your feet on the waters. You can bring your dog as well on the ride. The staff were nice and friendly. I ordered the ahi, and it was scrumptious.
