Rosie's Cafe is a gem of a find, offering an exceptional dining experience with its amazing ambiance, friendly staff, and excellent pricing. The menu boasts a wide array of delectable dishes, each prepared to perfection, satisfying a variety of tastes. Despite visiting with a party of five, I noticed the cafe's welcoming atmosphere is equally perfect for solo diners or those simply looking to enjoy a drink from their impressive on-tap selection. The comfortable setting, combined with the high-quality food and beverages, makes Rosie's Cafe an ideal spot for anyone seeking a delightful culinary adventure, whether alone or with a group.
I must say, my friends and I absolutely adored this place! The service was not only excellent but also incredibly swift. The interior boasts a unique and creative design that adds to the overall experience. And let's not forget the star of the show – the food – which was nothing short of delectable. Highly recommended!

The service is very fast and efficient, food is great for the price point. It was so good I almost forgot to take a picture. Highly recommend it as a stop during your day! Also, the environment is really interesting.
Y’all, this is the cutest restaurant in N Tahoe City!!! To top it off, it is the best breakfast, large servings, cooked to perfection, & delicious! They are so personable, I’m from the South and it’s nice to see that service this far North! (Food looked so good, we dove in without getting pix)!!!
What I appreciated about this place was how efficiently they managed seating during busy lunch hours, ensuring a seat for you while maintaining a friendly and attentive service. They offer a wide range of options, so no matter what you're craving, you'll find it here. I opted for a grilled vegetarian sandwich with fries and a lemonade. However, I found the sandwich a bit too oily, as it seemed like each ingredient had been individually fried in oil before being combined. The spinach, bread, everything had a significant amount of grease. Perhaps my European palate is not accustomed to this style of food, as it might be more typical in America. On the positive side, they have an outdoor veranda with ample tables, contributing to the classic American design and creating a Tahoe city atmosphere. Although the food was decent, it didn't quite reach the level of greatness. However, I still highly recommend visiting this place due to the extensive variety of options they offer, which can be particularly advantageous for families or large groups.
Great Cafe in Tahoe. I would say the best in America as they have variety of food in reasonable prices.Great decoration inside with old style. you will love this place.
This place sort of feels like you're dining in someone's attic - it's all wood and there are high ceilings with interesting decor. There are a lot of old bikes and other objects hanging from the rafters and walls. There's a bar that I didn't notice and a handful of tables on the covered deck. The staff was helpful and our waiter was really friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food leaves a lot to be desired. All of the ingredients in our dishes sort of looked and tasted old/not fresh. The zucchini bread was pretty good but everything else was below average.
Had such a great experience here , server was so funny , we had some great food and totally enjoyed the vibe of the place .
The mahi mahi burger is a must try .
We arrived about shortly before closing, but the staff graciously seated is. We were able to order right away. My husband had a cheeseburger with fries, and I had a hot turkey sandwich with a cup of chili. My husband said the cheeseburger was good (it was about five inches tall!). My sandwich was delicious! The restaurant was very clean, and we loved the vintage decor with lots of old bikes and trikes. The prices were average for around the lake. We would definitely eat here again.
Food was excellent with large portions. I had a breakfast burrito and my daughter had a waffle and hot chocolate. The restaurant is very clean with a quirky atmosphere and great service.

Good standard American breakfast in old school atmosphere. If you have no idea for the morning this place is your answer.
We went to Rosie’s 3 times over the last 3 days while staying in Tahoe City, 2 breakfasts and one dinner. The margaritas expertly made by Jimmy were as smooth as silk, the pear walnut salad was one of the tastiest salads I’ve had and both breakfasts delicious and filling. The place is quirky, comfortable and just has great ambiance with great service. Highly recommended.
Food is just OK. Service was amazing. Their menu is very limited. I expected to have more options to order food. Also rest room was not clean !
Must stop! Such an eclectic and fun atmosphere. Small arcade upstairs for the kids. The stairs are a complete danger zone for little ones. Not sure there's a way around that. Really great food and great people. The chicken club is amazing and the mozzies, probably the best marinara I've ever had.
We visited Tahoe City and passed Rosies Cafe a few times and knew we wanted to stop by and give them a try. We were not disappointed! We went for breakfast and the food was great. They have a well thought out menu and more than a few options that are specialties. If we had more time and larger appetites we would've just about never left. Give them a try when you're in town.
We thought it was great. The food was delicious and service was friendly. The dessert was heavenly! I highly recommend the place. Just be patient, they seemed short on staff so service was a little slow but not bad.
Such good hearty food! The flavor was awesome, and so many options on the menu. Service was quick and super friendly even though they were slammed. And the atmosphere was cozy, fun, and eclectic. We loved it!!
North Tahoe is so Beautiful! This breakfast spot is in the center of Tahoe city and is an amazing Cafe! Dennis gave us amazing service and made a terrific Bloody Mary!
