Breakfast was so good. The home fries were seasoned to perfection. There is also endless coffee, which is a personal favorite. A great breakfast spot away from all the madness

The food here is always good. It is on the pricier side but they are in an expensive location. If you go on the weekends, be prepared to wait.
They have a large and varied menu which is really great for breakfast. The blueberry grits are great!

Food is delicious. So fresh and easy to customize to your liking. I love the vibe of this place- not dim and dingy like most breakfast joints. This place is bright and very clean. It's a refreshing change of pace. Definitely try their omelets.

Excellent omelets and good coffee! Very pricey though.... Too much $ to go there often, just special occasions.

Delicious but you pay. THis place never disappoints in the taste department... but man oh man.. $30 for breakfast for me and my 8 year old? $5 for for tiny portion of sausage? Really? The food is great but get your pricing inline - please.

Definitely stick with the eggs Benedict when eating here. They are fabulous but I tried the French toast with strawberries added on top and I have had much better for a lower cost at Village Inn. The Irish coffee (made with Bailey's) is very good and they DO make it. We asked a waitress and she said they didn't make anything like that but we asked a different waitress that walked past carrying Bloody Mary's and she said they made them and brought us an Irish coffee.

Much improved. One of two things happens when an owner decides to remove the franchise branding and do the business on their own: they fall flat or excel at the previous shortcomings. My word has this place exceled. Previously Another Broken Egg, they took many of the signatures and tweaked them into better tasting, better portioned dishes. The food was always good but the extra bit of control the owner has to buy local, improve recipes, remove bad menu items and add in new things was a great move and I thoroughly enjoyed my previous outing. Everything was portioned bigger and had a bolder taste. Even the fried potatoes which I commonly ignore were really well done. The menu items that incorporate chorizo and salmon are a welcome addition as is the removal of the fried dough claiming to be a beignet. Well done and looking forward to a return visit.

The Egg Cafe & Eatery is a bit on the pricey side for breakfast, but the food’s quality is much better than the cheaper chain options in town. The bright and cheery atmosphere is a great way to start the day with family and friends. Service is always good. Remember, that even if it seems a bit pricey, the quantity and quality of food is so good that you’ll probably be able to skip lunch!

Solid 4 stars here. First and foremost, I went on a Saturday and got seated for a party of 2 within 10 to 15 minutes even though it was packed! The atmosphere appeared to be cozy, but given the massive parties and how busy it was, it felt more like a bussling cafe. In terms of food, I got a basic breakfast of eggs, potatoes, toast, bacon, and coffee. Everything was prepared well. The only complaint I'd have is that the potatoes lacked flavor and almost seemed frozen. Nonetheless I hope to come back and try other foods! Bonus: The mugs at the Egg are ceramic and beautiful. Definitely plan to purchase one at some point!

DELICIOUS!! This restaurant is a gem.💎 Their signature coffee mugs are the best! (I bought 2......well worth the price of $22/each) Everyone in our party loved everything ordered......banana fosters french toast.....bacon avocado 🥑 omelet.....loaded grits.....beignets......bloody mary......AMAZING. BEST BREAKFAST IN TOWN. Impeccable service. Plenty of parking. Clean dining area. Excellent pricing. I would give this 10 stars if i could. YOU MUST GO!

A sweet southern welcome and great customer service. The food is always the perfect temperature and I love that they use local sausage and local coffee. I had the brie cheese appetizer for the first time and ohhhhhhh my goodness!! It was so good! I asked for honey to drizzle on top of the bread that comes with it and it took the dish to a new level. Love this restaurant. It will always be my go to breakfast/brunch spot.

Got in early. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of space between tables... so you do not have that closed in feeling. Was greeted with a smile and asked where I wanted to sit? Pleasant surprise. Sat at table by the window. Good view. My young waiter was on week 2! Very polite, upfront and friendly! I asked for recommendations and were given his best opinion! Turned out he made and Excellent offer for breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict with the sausage with a side of bacon! Meal was Outstanding! Service was attentive, Friendly and done with a Smile!! I would most definitely highly recommend this place.... next time I'm in town.... I Will make a point of returning!!!

Perfect everything until the check arrived. They charge to use a credit card. There is no signage saying this nor on the menu.

From the host at the door until our departure, all the staff is very friendly. The food was delicious and the spicy bloody mary was great. We will definitely return when in Tallahasee again.

The Egg is one of our go-to breakfast/brunch places. The food is consistently good. When you order your favorite dish, you can rest assured that it's going to come out exactly how you remember receiving it the last time. My favorites are the quiche and the Bradley's grits skillet.

We ate there for the first time today and it was a good experience. It was crowded (11:30AM - Sat), so after a 10m wait, we opted to sit at the bar when offered rather than wait for a table. The food was nearly perfect (close enough), the coffee was good and the bartender/server was affable and attentive. The other staff we interacted with during our meal were genuinely friendly as well. I do wish the seating was a little less packed together but my discomfort likely had more to do with my mild agoraphobia than the restaurant itself. All told, we would certainly eat here again but as more of a treat than a regular stop since it was more expensive than I prefer for breakfast but the food quality was worth the higher prices. (Don't forget to tip well, too!) 4.8 stars

Nice place. The breakfast menu is always excellent. Burgers are typical frozen patties, but a decent size and prepared well. Very bright and clean and the majority of employees are friendly. Great place for breakfast and worth the wait.

They serve lucky goat coffee here, and we were able to get refills, which on its own is incredible. Throw in the quality food, and it's a 5 star for the brunch experience. Each of our dishes were beyond satisfying! The cinnamon roll french toast is a perfect blend of both dishes, and is topped with fruit. Throw in an egg, and it's perfect. We were seated in an awkward area off on its own, which was completely separate from the main area. It would have been understandable if they were busy, but they really weren't. Because of this, unfortunately, our table service was not the best. It's also a tad pricey.

The atmosphere was nice, although the cleanliness of the room and our table was questionable. Looking around, there was mold and dirt along the baseboards and walls. The table didn’t look like it was properly cleaned, just wiped. The waiter was very friendly, but strayed to other tables for long periods of time. It was hard to catch his attention, if we had a question. My husband ordered French toast with berries, bananas, and whipped cream on top. He says it was delicious, but compared to another diner’s French toast, his was smaller in portion then their hefty four slices (both were presented on large plates). I ordered an egg white omelet that had tomatoes, spinach, and onions in and around it. Came with two slices of thick toast and fruit. There was a lot of onion in the omelette (I don’t mind onions, but not to the point that it’s the only thing I’m tasting) and the majority of the grapes didn’t look clean or were possibly going bad. It wasn’t a bad experience, just some things I would take into consideration if we were to have breakfast or lunch there again.

Service was amazing. I should have asked my waitress for her name she was the sweetest. (Wore her blonde hair in 2 braids) food was delicious. We will be returning 🥰

For me, the seating time was less than 10 minutes. I arrived about 10:30AM, Friday. Several Menu options. Breakfast was good--I ordered the Personal Trainer omelet with breakfast potatoes, wheat toast, and hazelnut coffee. (My 1st experience with an egg white omelet. I'm not a fan. Not the restaurant's problem.) I was not expecting the bill I received. But, I did eat all of my food so...again, not the restaurant's problem.

Great brunch restaurant! Service was friendly and quick, the food was delicious, and my whole family enjoyed their meals. It was not the best Huevos Rancheros I've eaten, but still quite good. No one at the table left unsatisfied. My parents even said they'd like to come several times to try other menu items of interest. I would definitely go back next in in the area.
