I've been wanting to visit for years after discovering them on YouTube. It was truly great. We watched candy-making while eating ice cream. They're knowledgeable about the craft and are happy to answer questions. They offered us a sample of the still-warm candy. We really like the candies we bought. Looking forward to my next visit.
Stopped by for brunch. Their biscuits and gravy have great flavor and staff was very nice. I liked the outdoor seating but check the seats first! I ended up with all sorts of stuff on my dress.
Edit to add today I went back and got the waffle with a “side” of bacon. Side of inflation bacon 😂. Probably not worth $9 but I’d go back for the biscuits and gravy I got the first time. Mimosas never disappoint and outdoor seating is still great.
Lofty Pursuits is a national treasure. It's one of those places we visit as a family tradition every time we're in town. The staff are SO kind and just radiate positive energy. The ice cream and soda fountain offerings are incredible. They also make handmade candy using Victorian era equipment. Nothing like it anywhere else. And of course they sell all kinds of games, novelties, and disc golf equipment. It's not just an ice cream shop, it's an experience.
Wow! I am impressed at the toys and games selection. Great menu for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Ice cream and soda selections with phosphates are fantastic. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is quite relaxing.
Good breakfast and great desserts. Dylan made us the best banana split! He was very friendly and helped us pick the best combo!
My husband and I went here this past weekend for the first time, and it was awesome. I had the veggie omelet with wheat toast, and my husband had the banana split. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be coming back again.
The options at this place is almost overwhelming! I was surprised at how light the ice cream as for how rich it was. Great flavor, and a pretty good sized serving. Not cheap, but you do get a pretty good bit of ice cream. Didn’t get to try any of the food, but let’s be real, I wasn’t really there for food anyways!
I ordered the tangerine sours online from New York. They taste exactly like the old Altoid Sours that are discontinued and they are amazing. Overall great product!!! My sisters favorite flavor was the red apple sours. Eating these candies brings back great memories from my childhood and I’m so glad Lofty Pursuits did this. I’m ordering two more jumbo bags lol.
Wonderful local establishment. Great breakfast. And the candy, ice cream, boardgames, disk golf gear, wow! You must stop by!
We love this place! Cannot say enough good things about it. We have come for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even ice cream. It is a similar feel to a hometown cracker barrel! Everyone is always very friendly serving good food at a short wait.
I enjoy this place. The food we got was decent but the milkshakes were really good. I've gotten the toasted marshmallow and the chocolate covered strawberry. I highly recommend!
The atmosphere is also very unique. Them being part toy store as well as making their own candy has resulted in a very fun environment. If you're lucky, you get to watch candy being made!
The staff are also lovely. This place is quite special and I look forward to returning.
We love coming here for breakfast. They have a great selection, the food always comes out fast, hot, and fresh. The food always taste great as well. I got the 2-egg breakfast with a pancake. The eggs were over medium and cooked perfectly, which is hard to find. The pancake was super light and fluffy. Bacon was also cooked just right.
The strawberry ice cream was excellent. Service was friendly and fast. We sat outside at one of the sidewalk tables and enjoyed the nice weather. Thanks for a great time! Be back soon!
Incredible place to grab a cone or shake - they’ve got a large selection with classic, vegan, and even no sugar options. You won’t be disappointed by the selection.
Beyond the ice-cream - the place does have board games, little Knick knacks and plenty of seating. I would recommend this place despite it being outside of the college limits

Great Location. Traveled from Miami to come see this location. Really family friendly environment. The associates are very attentive and patient.

What a great place! We went there to look at the disc golf merchandise and they had a great selection. They also had ice cream, candy, and other toys. Their board game selection is pretty nice as well. I can wait to go back.
It's always a treat to hang out at Lofty Pursuits. Ice cream, hand made candy, and all the random toys from around the world make the atmosphere just perfect for family ice cream night. Outside seating is available and is just perfect at sunset.
