I grew up going here because it was close to my friend’s house, and I think that it has gotten better with time! When we were there they were still working on some interior renovations, but that place is starting to look great! Some of the combo dinners are pretty good deals price wise, but the real menu hack is to get the curly fries with queso for your side - then you don’t end up buying a side of queso! My sister substituted that as her side for the tres tacos. At least I don’t think they charged my sister for it… one way to find out! Haha let’s be real, you want the queso anyways so it’s worth a shot!
Great Mexican food! The salsa and queso were so good! Plenty of inside seating. There is also seating outside I do often see it is occupied by events so I’m not sure how the outside seating works. This place has more pages in the menu of different drinks then food! They make virgin drinks! They also make the guacamole right in front of you!
Ok, so the food and service was good no complaints at all. However, 2 of the chairs we sat in had cracked pleather and some liquid had been absorbed into it and soaked my jeans and my mom's jeans. I can only hope it was water.
The bathrooms need some work. The men's had a clogged toilet and a non working hand dryer.
The dining areas had nice atmosphere.
So, if you go, go expecting good food, but check your chairs.
We waited 20 minutes to have a waiter come to our table only after I got up and complained.
Manager came over and apologized and said he would comp us which never happened.
Food was very good and came out quickly to us.
Their salsa was spicy even though they said it was mild.

Pros: Amazing food in massive proportions. Perfectly cooked chicken, steak, and shrimp. The guacamole was just on point. The Mojito here are probably one of the best I have ever had. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.
Cons: tiny parking lot with very narrow spaces. Inside was too loud with the music at times. Oh, and our waiter, bless him, his English wasn't the best and with everything so loud, we had a little trouble communicating, but we were able to work it out in the end.
Friday nights are definitely a vibe. Great DJ. Play area for the kids. Busy but not too much of a wait. My cheese quesadilla was a bit too cheesy and tasted salty (for my liking). The bacon wrapped shrimp was great.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.... Except... The shredded chicken in my enchiladas was DRY AS A BONE! It was literally dried shredded chicken... Almost the same texture as machacado. The tomatillo enchilada sauce is so good though! The beef fajita is really good too! If the chicken wasn't so dry, everything would have been perfect!
The food is very good and the service is quick. Drinks could use a little more alcohol but I just order a shot to add to it.
My first time here , and I was wowed by the huge menu selection right off the start.
We tried their outdoor patio and were quickly approached for our drink orders. The food menu was really vast, and its so hard to decide with so much to choose from.
Let me say they have delicious authentic Mexican food here. Its delicious and a good sized meal. I tried the Texacano burrito..filled with lots of shrimp, steak, and chicken..it was so delicious and the steak was very tender, not chewy. My drink was this huge Margarita. I believe it was 22 oz., and it was delicious also. My Brother had the nachos stuffed in a pineapple half..huge, he said it was also great, we also tried the 3 taco dinner which was excellent. All awesome items, and so much more to try next time. Prices are a little high but its that way most everywhere now...id pick this place over Peppers here in Tallahassee, try it out very tasty, you'll like it !
First time visiting and it did not disappoint! Very clean restaurant. Staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Food was flavorful and so good! Definitely a place we'll eat at again.
Since LA Fiesta closed, Casa Grande has been our go-to for Mexican food. Compared to other Mexican restaurants, they are the most consistent in service, quality, and quantity. Our go-to are the al pastor (updated, not carnitas) street taco and chicken taquitos, which are pictured. Their birria is best as the quesidilla, in my opinion, and their flautas are decent too. The salsa is always on point and great to mix with their chicken based dishes.
If you're looking for drinks, their margaritas are almost always more boozy than their competitors.
In terms of atmosphere, they're always loud when it's busy. Parents do seem to let their children run free, so that can be annoying when its indoors. However, there is also an outdoor area where you can sit and eat while kids play. There is some sort of expansion going on in that area, but im not sure what it's for.
UPDATE: they added more outdoor space. There's also a sign on the door saying there is an 18% gratuity on Fridays and Saturdays for outdoor seating. This is when there is usually lolive music.
When this place gets packed, parking can be extremely difficult. There's also a lot of pot holes in the lots.
Every time we're in the area, we make a point to go here. The food is great, and they serve you a ton. There's a huge drink menu, you will find something you like. The atmosphere is fun, great for families of all ages. There's an outdoor area I've never sat at, but there's music and people are always having fun. It's packed on weekends, so come early. It's totally worth it.
Awesome atmosphere, definitely a whole vibe!! Great bartenders and food wasn't bad at all!! And did I mention the 🍸s??? They're very good!!!
First 5 pages of the menu are drinks, if I wasnt sober I'd be a regular. FOR SURE. The food is also good, well on par with any other Tallahassee chips and salsa joint. Worth a visit to see if its your flavor.
Five stars for first visit, three for the second. One of our entrees came out 20 minutes later than the rest. Its recipient wolfed most of it down (the rest of us were done eating) before realizing two of four ingredients were missing. We asked the server for a discount. He came back saying the manager authorized a $2 discount. When we checked the receipt, we saw they added the $2 back onto another entree. So that was $0 discount for a lousy late and lacking dish with trying to trick us on top. When I confronted the manager, she blamed the ‘computer’, said sorry, and handed me $2 cash. I told her this was not a good business strategy. If you go there, check your food and check what you’re paying.
Newly renovated an excellent. The food it's always been excellent oh, he said homemade taste and flavor. Daily lunch specials and a full menu to select from. I highly recommend if you are in that area go have some great food at Casa Grande!
Very good food and fast and friendly service!
Everything was really good! The flight was a great start, entree's were awesome, and finishing with the Bailey's mudslide, flan, and chimicheesecake was a great choice! Server Bryant was very friendly and was there for anything we needed. We'll be back!
