We went to Decent Pizza on Saturday night and it was delicious!! We tried the Veg head pizza and the Buffalo chicken pizza. It was sooo good! The service was great, wonderful atmosphere, great staff. The new owners are definitely putting in some hard work!
Hands down the best pizza in Tallahassee! It was tantalizingly delicious in a way that tickled my taste buds and sent them into a frenzy of joy. I grew up in the city of Chicago and this gave me a taste of home like no other pizza place has done before. Now let me tell you about the staff. WOW, what amazing service! They made every customer feel like a family dinner on Friday night. Plus, the food came out fairly quickly for being baked fresh. I am just blown away by this place and can't recommend it enough. I wish I could put down 6 stars!
Got there when the doors opened on 12/9/2023. Pizza was good/fresh. The cook (female with black hair) really needs spoken to. I didn't have an issue with her having no sleeves on her T-Shirt. Until she lifted her arms and she had more Armpit hair than I did. If she is going to have Armpit hair at least wear a shirt that has sleeves.

I've ordered from decent pizza before as takeout. I love this pizza. Family came from Orlando to visit in route to their destination. Dinner was suggestion and with 3 Teenagers,Pizza was the destination. I took them to Decent Pizza. Being the night before Thanksgiving I was unsure as to what to expect for a crowd. 8:30 pm and only 2 other parties were there. They soon left and it was my sole group there. Upon arrival to the desk, a very polite and friendly woman, Riley greeted us and patiently waited for us to get our order together. Upon payment, the crew flew into action and we weren't waiting long before our Garlic Knots and Salad were delivered. Riley took care of everything and served the table. When the 20' pizza was served, the 3 Teenagers eyes were wide open and smiles to their faces. They devoured the pizza with compliments of the freshness of the cheese and ingredients. They loved it! No more Papa John's for them. Riley and the crew were fantastic and ensured our satisfaction.

In the past (five years or so ago) we went often because we lived more in the middle of town. In recent years, I have not gone, but mostly because it was hit or miss. Went for lunch a couple months back and the food was fine but the service was awful. Noncommittal cashiers who clearly wanted to be chit-chatting or hanging outside with friends instead. HOWEVER, we went last night and had an awesome experience. The front cashier was friendly, helpful, and prompt. The pizza was even tastier than I remembered. Everything was clean and it didn't take long to get our food (though I'd love for the garlic knots to come out first.) You can't beat the price on the Narragansett pitchers either. I am excited to add this back into our rotation.
Decent Pizza is one of the best pizza places in town run by an extremely awesome person. Jacob is passionate about his customers and delivering a fantastic product. The name couldn't be further from the truth, it's excellent pizza. It's one of the few places that can/will make a delicious keto pizza.
For no particular reason I haven't been to Decent Pizza in many years. Decided to give it a try today and it was phenomenal. The only complaint I have is that I ordered online and waited a fair amount of time to go pick up my order and it was just being made when I arrived. However, the young lady at the counter apologized and offered me a free drink while I waited. I ordered the Meathead and cheese bread and both were fantastic. It will not be years before I go back. I believe I found my favorite local pizza place.
Great food! Great staff. Ordered 3 pizzas to go. Done in 20-25 minutes. Pizza was delicious. Crust was perfect. Will be back soon.
Our family visited recently during the FSU Homecoming weekend. We were so glad to see that Decent is still going strong after all these years! We have had many fond memories and meals here. The staff was so friendly and attentive and of course , our pizza and calzones were AMAZING! Thank you for being a a local staple for families and the community! Love you guys!!! So delicious and the price is very reasonable. The parmesan bread knots were scrumptious, too. One of my favorite pizza places in Tallahassee!
If you like New York Style pizza, you are going to ♡ Decent Pizza. Hand tossed Pizza, made fresh. Fresh produce, fresh local sausage, REAL Cheese! Love the stringy slice! Great quaint local feel. Nice selection of Beers.
My family of four and I LOVE Decent Pizza! We enjoy their pizza, its as close to New York style as it gets down here in the south. They also have the best Stromboli in all of Tally. We usually get Decent take out once a month or so,and we would get it more often but I try to cook homemade meals most days. They have very polite, kind employees and I have never had a negative experience in the past 4 some years we've been patrons here. Definitely recommend!😊👌💯
Cool atmosphere and the pizza was fantastic. Crispy crust with great flavors. Also tried the spinach salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Overall it was decent (wonderful).
We cone to Tallahassee once a year to do the local arts and crafts festival...Tallahassee Market Days and we always make it a point to eat here...the care they show in making a good pizza is fantastic and service is great as well!
