Have eaten here many times ( always good), but today was exceptional! I ventured out and tried the Crab salad (that's Crab, not Krab). Oh my God, one of the best things I've ever had. The menu description is vague (blue crab meat and wasabi), so I was unsure what it was going to actually be. WAY exceeded my expectations!! What the menu doesn't say is that it's topped with fresh avacado, cucumbers, carrots, cherry tomatoes and the like. 12/10 will order again. How this is only $9, I'll never understand...but I love it, and will be my go-to this summer.

We have been several times and it has been excellent every time. Last night again the sushi was amazing and our waiter was wonderful. So happy to have such a great place so close to home.

The very best Asian food I ever had. The red curry short ribs was amazing and perfectly made, but the rockstar of the night was the fried battered shrimp appetizer (I forget the actual name of it). Perfectly fried on the outside and oh so tender & flavorful on the inside. Reminded me of the fried calamari appetizer Masa's.

My children took me to Dao for Mother's Day Lunch. I was very impressed with the great service, exceptional sushi and lovely restaurant. My first experience would grade them an A+!! The best sushi I have had in a long time.

Absolutely fantastic! The Szechuan Crispy Steak was perfectly done. One of the best I have ever had! The sauce was very flavorful without being over spicy or too heavy. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a full bar. A very attentive staff. If you love sister AZU, you will be thrilled to eat at Dao.

The lunch menu had a lot of options, most only about $10. The portions were generous and quite tasty. The service was good. Happy to have a good Oriental restaurant in this area.

It was a perfect restaurant in the town. The color balance on the plates is perfect as much as the taste of their foods. Love the atmosphere and the location of the restaurant. The only thing, the service was slow because they had a lot customers even though it was weekday. We will have a group dinner this weekend approximately 16 people, hope they can serve better. I have no doubts about the quality of the food.✨👌

Party of three, graciously greeted and seated. We had Qing for waitstaff, and she was so nice. Fried dumplings for appetizers...excellent with a nice dipping sauce. Interesting mixed drinks. I had orange duck...very good. Another had Fried noodles and shrimp...that dish was absolutely winner. Complimentary slice of cheesecake for birthday. Would certainly go back. Great restaurant to take out-of-town guests.

Been going here way too often since I discovered it. Hidden sushi gem in town. Lunch specials are very solid, both sushi wise and hot food. Been here a dozen+ times already, food and atmosphere are really good. There has occasionally been a bit more of a wait for food, but it might just be because I'm often looking forward to it so much. Haven't been there for dinner, but assume everything would be kicked up a notch. Service is solid, though sometimes it seems like they could do to hire one extra server. Regardless, the ones they have do well, and there have been a few instances of them going above and beyond to make the experience good. Really recommend eating here, it's one of the better experiences in tally.

The shrimp appetizers were delicious 😋, we had large portions. The Ramen was really good. Our waitess was A++ I wish I could remember her name, I think it was Brittany she was very petite. The food came out really fast as well. The combination rice was not that good, the rice was like mushy and the chicken was bland.

Excellent upscale restaurant. Veggie sushi roll was great and kick of mango sauce. Lots of options for vegetarian dishes. Loved yellow coconut curry and mix vegetables with tofu. Customer service was excellent also. Overall we had enjoyed our dinner with Friends.

The food is outstanding , I have been their twice. My only issue is with the staff. They always seem to be new . Very forgetful , unattainable , walking around as if they are always lost or looking for something they lost. The problem is , it's all starts at the front door.

My fiancé and I went here the other day for lunch. First time going and we just happened across it. Hidden gem hiding away if you ask me. Our waitress was very welcoming and super nice. We got a lunch special with two rolls and a bento box. The food was amazing. Every part of it was tasty. The restaurant was clean, bathrooms were nice and well stocked. My only critique was that each section of the restaurant had different light fixtures, which, I just personally found a little odd. All in all, a wonderful experience. We without a doubt be returning.

Delicious food, great service, polite and gracious staff. We arrived about 35 minutes before closing and they never made us feel rushed. We happened upon Dao by chance and are so happy we did!!! I ordered the Seafood Martini and my husband ordered the Crab Explosion. OMG!!!!!! The presentation of the food was almost as amazing as the taste!!! I would give Dao 10 stars if I could!!! It was a very long drive but we will definitely be back..... thank you Dao Restaurant!!!!

Ate here on Saturday for lunch. Service was super friendly & welcoming. I tried dumplings for the first time & they were 🤤! As for the bento box- the Mongolian beef was kinda disappointing. The beef itself was kind of mushy & was 90% scallions 10% beef. It was also spicy, which I wasn’t anticipating. Sushi rolls were great! My husband loves the lobster roll- this is the 4th time he orders it. I ordered a “customized” roll of tempura shrimp w/avocado & spicy mayo drizzle. Overall will return because service was great, but will probably stick to ordering just sushi & shareable plates.

Great place for lunch. Generous portions. Great friendly service, especially as a single parent with a child. The server was kind and patient with my daughter. Sashimi was fresh and well prepared.

Went here with a group of 8 so we got to have the semi-private back table, which I appreciated. Firstly, the large sized beer was a reasonable price at 7 dollars so that was a good start. A couple of my friends got Old Fashioneds and we've definitely never seen them come out a red/pink color! They were not into the flavor either. My other friends' cocktails were fine though. I myself got steamed dumplings, which were excellent if not just a bit overpriced. My husband got the szechuan beef and while he said it tasted good, remembers having this somewhere a couple years ago and it was slightly less breaded/fried, and that was more what he was looking for. I ordered the Fire ball roll and it was indeed very spicy! But good. Would order again. Overall, I think it's a good place if you're in a group (we did a few sake bombs) but nothing amazing for the price. A solid meal though.

This place was really nice inside and the food was decent. I was disappointed that one of my sushi rolls, (especially given the price) was mostly rice with the tiniest of flakes of fish. The rest of the sushi was ok…just ok. The servers were nice and they go overboard with the kids meal (a LOT of food). Update: I’ve recently been ordering takeout sushi from DAO and I’ve got to add that the sushi has been EXCELLENT. Love the Fireball and Sweet Mama and rolls.

I wholeheartedly enjoyed our experience here. The sever was very knowledgeable with my vegan guest and hit a home run on menu recommendations for him. Highly recommend.

Top tier Chinese/Asian for Tallahassee! Great atmosphere, great service, and very good food. Some of the sushi is truly like art! I had the General Tso’s, also trying the sesame and sweet and sour. All were very good! Slightly pricier than some of the comparable places around town, but you won’t be disappointed! Great date night or celebration place!
