Once again another great experience here at blossom kitchen this theme we decided on the peppered Chicken and it was AMAZING! The amount of meat that they give is truly a large amount enough to share for two depending on how much you can actually eat . Other than the prices being just a tiny tad high it does equal out to the amount of food they give so definitely a 10/10 in my book Try them out sometime !
We ordered orange and sesame chicken plates. Both of them was delicious. We did not like rice but chickens’ taste were perfect and they were crunchy
It’s honestly the best Chinese food I’ve had in Tallahassee. Especially the Mongolian beef, oml. You need to try it. I clear the plate every time I go.
I don’t write too many reviews for businesses, it seems, but I really wanted to take the time to leave a positive and happy endorsement for this place. It’s exactly what I was hoping for, and everyone working inside the Saturday my friends and I visited was cheerful and attentive. While it’s almost always been a challenge for me to find authentic, non-westernized Asian food in southern towns, this place had plenty to offer and certainly hit the spot. I only wish we weren’t only visiting, so I could come back and eat here again. So long as this is the kind of food you’re looking for, you can’t really go wrong with this place. Simple, quaint, and tasty.
Fantastic (the best Chinese in town). Had the dry beef brisket and as a side the eggplant, potato, onion, etc dish. Tube best!!
The place is mostly pick up, so atmosphere is lacking, but the food was the best.
A hidden gem in Tallahassee! We had garlic tofu and stir fry pork belly and they were amazing. Very authentic and very delicious. We will be coming back to try out their other menu options soon for sure! I'm just sad that I didn't find out about this restaurant anytime sooner. Definitely, definitely recommend this place for some authentic delicious Chinese food.
Basic down to earth Chinese fare. Food was great, healthy portions. No frills at all.
Boiled spicy fish and spicy chili chicken are freaking incredible. So grateful it's here in Tallahassee. You need to like spicy food if you're going to order that - the numbing spice of the sichuan peppercorns in the boiled fish dish is one of my favorite things to eat 🤗
Blossom Kitchen is a brand new Chinese restaurant right on the edge of Florida State University's campus. While still transitioning from a sports bar that previously inhabited the space, Blossom provides a different atmosphere than what one might typically expect from a Chinese restaurant.
We ordered a wonton soup and a "pig in a sweater" to start the meal. The wonton soup was heaver than most we have had in the past, but the wontons were cooked perfectly. The "pig in a sweater" was not what we anticipated. The waitress informed us that this was traditional Chinese street food. It was a hot dog wrapped in cooked egg, on a stick. It was as good as you might expect a hot dog wrapped in egg to taste. The egg was a bit rubbery but overall, the dish was not bad.
For entrees, we had Sweet and Sour Dinner combination, Sesame Chicken Dinner combination, and General Tso's chicken with white rice. The dinner combinations came with fried rice and an egg roll. The sweet and sour chicken was crisp and light. The sauce was served on the side. The chicken was very juicy and paired well with the sweet and sour sauce. The Sesame Chicken was tender and melted in our mouths. The thick sauce was sweet and tangy. General Tso's chicken was very similar to the sesame chicken but packed a bigger punch. The white rice paired with it was cooked perfectly. The fried rice that came with the combination dinners, while slightly dry, still provided a better flavor than most other Chinese restaurants.
Overall, we found this to be a great experience with friendly staff, an interesting atmosphere, and the best Chinese food we have found in Tallahassee.
This is place is amazing ! Best Chinese in Tallahassee man!! Get the Mongolian beef if your stuck on what to order. I’ve been coming up for months and it has never disappointed. The food is pack with flavor and the wait time to dine in is short. You get your meals in minutes and it feels like the food has been cooked for hour! Perfect spot and definitely a steal!
Authentic MA! (hot) LA! (spicy or tangy) Chinese dishes.
Very delicious! I had the pleasure of serving a homeless man some of my meal at my table, and the hostess was very worried for me that I wasn't being harassed. Needless to say, the staff are very respectable. The prices are a little up there, but it's authentic and worth the price!Do not pass this place up. Or do, I don't care. It's more food for me.
THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN! If you can, order the ripped noodles with pork! This is one of the only chinese food establishments where I've been able to find these noodles, and they were delicious here! It was so satisfyingly chewy and so juicy, and the pork was just as tender. I will be coming here for chinese food everytime I am in Tallahassee!
