Great food(for my money, the best food for the price in Tallahassee), great drinks, great music, great events, great atmosphere. A place that I cannot recommend highly enough. I love it.
Awesome atmosphere, I love the dim colorful lights, tropical decor (blowfish light and water windows), 70s'ish vibe, great older music, calm, friendly place. And i had the best Pina Colada I've ever had.
Waterworks is great. Super great. I can’t say enough positive stuff about the place. The drinks are tasty and made by great bartenders who are interesting people. The food is delicious and comes out very quickly. The place is never overrun by college kids. They have interesting programs from live music to Patio Theatre (sometimes indoors) and Science Tuesdays. I will support Waterworks as long as I’m in Tallahassee.

One of my favorite local bars! The atmosphere, drinks and food are excellent. Be prepared to wait if it's crowded for drinks or a table, but that doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary for a popular place. It's one of my favorite hang outs! And the space port is a quirky addition that had a whole other vibe!
Kudos to Don and Waterworks for always rocking it! This is a great local gem and is worth checking out if you haven't yet!

Excellent kitchen, with great recipes and cool presentation. Wide assortment of beers, true mixologists making cocktails, iconic tiki decor, and frequently various entertainment always reflective of fine and often interesting taste: an important Tallahassee institution!
Waterworks is my favorite place in town to enjoy a high quality beverage! No matter your drink of choice they can make it. The atmosphere is open and inviting and the newly expanded outdoor seating is a welcome addition if you are keen to enjoy the outdoors like me. Also, Don is the Shit!

I'll be honest, I don't drink at all, so bars are not places I go. But I have friends who go and know the owner well. Apparently a wonderful gentleman.
So I went with a few folks and took in the atmosphere. It's quite a fun place inside with lots of color and a Tahitian scene? They have a big bar and tables and booths and, to my surprise, they have a menu.
So I had a bacon hot dog and a ginger ale and it was really darn good.
I enjoyed the folks I was with and felt very comfortable there.
This place is awesome. I don’t believe the 3 posters claiming a veteran got “kicked out for wearing a shirt with an American flag.” I felt very welcome in my own shirt with the flag.
I love this place, every time I get a drink here I want to come back each week but we live too far away. Fun and coastal (get the mystery drink!) but also has that local feeling, worth the trip! The White Russian was a milk shake which was so good

Absolutely loved it! Great drinks and a great escapist vibe. As soon as you step inside, you are transported into another era. I was disappointed when I had to leave, and realized I was still in modern day Tallahassee! I recommend the Mystery Drink and the fresh hummus.

Saw a post that they were open Christmas Eve, so we popped in to check it out for our first time. Great drinks and fun company! The owner was behind the bar and had great recommendations for the area and loads of stories. We’ll be back!

Fun and eccentric, the management at the Waterworks is not scared to to welcome new artists to perform at this historical tiki bar. Let yourself be transported back to a time that you thought was once lost. Paradise in the middle of a crazy college town.
