This restaurant is under new management. The new name is Peony River, and today was their first day open. The food was wonderful, and the service was polite and attentive. Nice atmosphere. Great for a date, or just a quiet meal.

I first came to China Delight 5 years ago and found the food lackluster and nauseating. Under the new management I am amazed at the excellent quality of the food. Ordered a couple dishes with my wife, who is Chinese, and we both came away full and happy.

Great Food, great price. Lunch menu price is really good 👍. Ample parking and convenience location in town. By the way, it is under new ownership, and the restaurant name is PEONY RIVER. Can do dine in or take out.

Loved this place. Not much to look at from the outside. But, the food was yummy. Way more than one person could eat. Was looking for something other than the hotel food and this was almost across the street. Would definitely come back! This was my leftovers.

This is not your average Chinese establishment. We enjoyed our time just more expensive and fine dining then we expected. We brought our kids and they did well but our wait was long and we could not fully understand our waitress. The food was good and surprisingly more authentic thing we expected. its been awhile since we have gone and should come back soon. The sesame chicken was not small fried pieces but three big half pieces of chicken thigh I believe.

New Chef! A delightful surprise from 7 months ago! My coworkers and I were very pleased with our lunch which was brought out at just the right time. I ordered the shrimp and chicken combo. Others had the shrimp and scallop combo. There were many new items on the menu, it was also written in chinese and chopsticks were available! There was much variety, lots of seafood, and several duck entrees! They even gave us a copy of their carry-out menu. The hot and sour soup was spicy fresh with a unique flavor. The generous size meal itself had good flavor and the meat, seafood and vegetables were fresh. The spices and flavor was just right. Everyone finished their plate! We only had a few items needing improvement. The wontons were not very crispy, and the sauces were different between the combos. Wish we could choose what sauce we preferred, both were very good. Despite these small issues, the food was delightful and I am changing my review to a 5. We will be back, and as for the former regular patrons that left 7 months ago,, please try them again, the new chef makes all the difference!

I hadn't back since it changed ownership. Given the recent positive reviews, I decided to give this place another try for lunch. I ordered the Hunan Chicken, and I was pleasantly surprised, although it was just a bit salty. The service was also good. If you've sworn this place off, you may want to consider giving it another go.

Amazing sit down authentic Chinese cuisine. A gem hidden behind an aging facade. The menu is expansive and includes plenty of vegetarian choices. The owners are lovely and will take care of you. You can even order Peking duck and fresh pea shoots!

Surprised at some of these reviews, have been multiple times and the food and service is always outstanding. Portions are huge but great for sharing and trying new things. Peking duck is always great but also love double cooked pork, beef tendon, and all the soups.

The interior is lovely and quiet! The portions are very generous and delicious. Definitely recommend sharing dishes. By far the best wonton soup I have ever had!
