I was so impressed with my visit to this restaurant. It was my first time, but it most certainly will not be my last. My waiter Albert was extremely attentive to detail and was accommodating to all my requests. I had a lot of questions about menu items, and Albert was very knowledgeable. He even went out of his way to bring me a sample for taste to ensure that I ordered something I would enjoy. The ceviche was so fresh and flavorful. The tallarines verdes with chicken were so tasty! I also got a sangría that was made to order. I can't wait to go again and order other things from the menu.

Had an early lunch here after seeing Happy Fish in a news article. Restaurant is very well decorated inside. It was early so almost empty. We had chicharron de pollo appetizer and a fish & plantain ceviche (tostones acebichados). I had fried fish with a side of black beans & sarza criolla. Food was very flavorful. Our waiter Daniel was very professional and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit ...a few visits!

Such a happy surprise! Kevin was the main attraction and was VERY personable. The food was.. good. The calamari was cooked well, but definitely frozen and chewy. My wife had the ceviche which was spicy hot and tasty. I had the "fusion" cheese ravioli with a strip steak. The ravioli was definitely like you would get frozen at the supermarket and stuck together as it can weirdly do. The steak was unseasoned and a little chewy but serviceable. All in all everyone around us was having a good time with Kevin and I would call this place a nice little Peruvian Diamond on a crowded night in Tampa.

My Foodie Friend and I read the reviews written. The food is tasty and fresh. Seasoned just right! Daniel was our friendly, courteous waiter. Beautiful ambiance, very spacious and clean. In Frescsa Plaza, near the Frescsa Supermarket.

This has got to be the best Peruvian spot in Tampa. We had 10 people in our party and everyone was impressed with their dishes. And 3 of them were born in Lima!

This is still one of my favorite places in Tampa. We had not been back for quite some time and I was worried. However their food is amazing and their service is even better. I wish we lived closer but we will always be back when we fly out of Tampa.

I went to Peru about 16 years ago and this food brought me right back to Machu Picchu. The service and food was spectacular delicious and so filling. Every single dish was amazing. And the surprise dessert at the end was sooooo good!

My husband and I visited Happy Fish for the first time this past weekend. We’ve never had Peruvian food, so we requested our waitress provide a few recommendations. Lorena was so sweet, she provided wonderful recommendations, and even brought us a sample of a drink before we committed. We also had the manager check in with us during our visit. The food portions were massive, so great value for the price! We will definitely be returning!

Enjoying a wonderful Saturday out and about, early voting, Oddities and Curiosities Expo, and then based on a co-worker recommendation, we stopped here for some Peruvian grub. The recommendation we got was for the Ceviche's; but when I saw the Seco Cabrito on the menu, I had to have it. Who can pass up lamb? This place is simple awesome. Friendly staff, excellent food, and excellent prices for the portions. I started with a Tamal con Pollo that had a olive and egg inside. Delicious! My Seco Cabrito was almost fall off the bone tender, the way I like it, with just a tiny hint of pull and a hint of that lamb game flavor. She had the Palomilla Streak and was one of the best she has ever had. There is no doubt that we will be back many times. There are so many options on the menu, it will take a while to try them all. Be mindful that this is in an extremely busy Hispanic oriented shopping center and the Saturday traffic was...well difficult. Once parked and inside the restaurant, all that clutter fades away into plates of deliciousness.

It’s nice! I can’t say that much about the food because I popped in for a very quick bite as I had time to kill before an appointment. I did enjoy my chicken tamale. The red onions were in a delicious sauce. Did a search for lunch near me and stumbled on this place when my Google directions failed to take me to the place I chose. Friendly staff.

The best peruvian cuisine I've ever had. Hidden gem in a plaza in not the best area of Tampa. Trip advisor was right, this is a great place for Peruvian food. Everything we had was amazing! Would stop here again if we're ever back in Tampa!

Service was excellent and attentive. Atmosphere is very nice considering it's inside a strip mall. Ceviche was very good. Fried filet was tasty. Fries were hot and crispy. Orange rice was normal and wouldn't get again. Overall very good experience. I recommend

We felt like having Peruvian and the first place we tried was so full so we ended up at Happy Fish. It showcases fusion Peruvian dishes. We ordered chicha morada, fried fish and yuca appetizer, and a beef and shrimp entree. Didn't get the authentic taste of chicha morada, as we felt there was too much flavor of cinnamon, however this might be a positive for others. The fried fish appetizer was delicious and the entrees were good. Good ambience, but felt that the place was a little bit on the expensive side, considering the portion size.
