Our server Billy is friendly. He is knowledgeable about the dishes they serve, and he gave us some history of how the restaurant is named. The price of the entrees can be pricey, but the taste is really good. There are seats outside the lawn, in door and upstairs. They even have 2 unisex bathrooms besides the regular women & men.

This is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Parking is kind of hard to find, we used the valet who work for tips. Also I'd highly recommend a reservation, there is some open seating and the bar is first come first serve. The food is fantastic. The BLT appetizer is incredible. The carrots, corn muffins, and Fuego corn are incredible. The succotash is amazing. I don't even like anything in there but corn and it was so good it made me reevaluate it. The meatloaf is great and the pork shank is a work of art. Make sure you save room for dessert because the ice cream is made in house.

The best meal I have ever eaten. Everything we had from the fried green tomatoes to the pompano to the bourbon cake was exceptional. The staff are very accommodating, kind, and attentive. Even on a busy Saturday we were made to feel like VIP's. Highly recommended.

I had a WONDERFUL experience at Ulele! The ambiance was so nice, not too crowded and loved the open dining concept. The service was amazing; quick and helpful. And the food?? I can't even begin to explain how every dish was made and seasoned to perfection!! I am looking forward to coming back very soon and can't wait to try other the other dishes!

Finally, a restaurant that makes me feel I am in Florida! This place should definitely be recommended. Kudos to Nick too who served us with his impressive knowledge of alcohol pairings. Both indoor and outdoor seatings have their own allure. Indoor seating gives a view of the passionate open kitchen concept. Outdoor seating will place you in a magical landscape decorated with sculptures and fairy tale paraphernalia.

Celebrated my husband's birthday here. We had reserved a table in advance since they are always jam packed. They have a free valet service which is handy when it is really busy. We had the ring of fire and margarita for drinks, they packed quite a punch. We started off the shrimp and corn muffins for appetizer. Shrimp was excellent, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. We had lobster roll, blackened redfish, chicken and risotto and pineapple upside down bread pudding for dessert. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was great. I actually like the flourless chocolate torte better than the bread pudding. Quantity was sufficient and food was tasty. We left with a complimentary box of truffles since it was a birthday celebration. Recommend for special occasions

Wow! Shoutout to James! He’s such an amazing, friendly, and welcoming server. He gave me a few post cards for my fridge and let us know the history of Ulele. But, the food is so tasty and delicious! Very flavorful and savory. I love the location and it has a small fresh water spring outside. The decorations is so beautiful and full of history! Such an amazing restaurant and must come when you’re in downtown Tampa.

Ulele's is always incredible! I always go when I visit Tampa. The views, the good, the beauty. Parking can sometimes be a challenge because it's always busy down there. Highly recommend a reservation or else you might be waiting a long time. I always get their Gouda Grouper entrée and it's absolutely fantastic! They had a new dessert (Bourbon Butter Cake) and it's my new favorite dessert! Crunchy bottom, moist and delicate crumb, their vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream, served hot! It blew my socks off! Such a delightful and delicious meal on a beautiful.

We had a great time! I tried the Florida mojito and it was a fun twist using Orange Liqueur instead of rum. We also tried the fried okra and the jalapeno corn muffins and they were so good! 10/10 The desserts blew us away as well. The key lime pie, and pineapple bread pudding were absolutely delicious.

This is a great little spot on the Riverwalk in Tampa. You can eat outdoors or indoors. The grounds around the restaurant are great for exploring. There is a bar outside to grab a drink while you wait for your table. The Pina en fuego was delicious! Very light with a grilled pineapple flavor. We had a foursome and ordered pre dinner and during drinks, appetizers and entrees. From the moment you walk in the front door, the smell is captivating. The decor was very interesting. We ordered the calamari and char broiled oysters. The oysters were fantastic. The calamari had a great batter but could use a little more salt. (It was rings and tentacles). Two ordered the Florida Pompano which was plenty enough for two meals. It was mild with plenty of flavor on a bed of wild rice and green beans. The crispy, curly, carrots were very different and quite nice. The fish was topped with some crawfish tails and I ordered some scallops which were a perfectly cooked accompaniment. The blackened grouper special with scallops, spinach and wild rice. The flavor was fantastic. I did not try the short ribs which I believe came with mashed potatoes but the diner was very complimentary of it except that his green bean were cold. We had so much food that we skipped dessert by they all looked and sounded delicious. Our server Justin was extremely professional, helpful in meal selection and very attentive without being hovering. It was a perfect experience aside from the temperature. It was an abnormally cold night in Florida and the restaurant was uncomfortably chilly.

So it's my mother's 77th birthday. And I knew I had to do something special. So after researching and reviewing restaurants 2 weeks prior I came to the conclusion I had to come. Reason is the outdoor statues that were from Lowery park zoo, my mother took me there for the first time 50 years ago and I knew it would be a full circle moment. I made a reservation we showed up on time. We were seated promptly. We had a lot of questions that the server was more than helpful with us. We ordered appetizers, we ordered entrees and we order desserts, (which we never do) everything was wonderful.. And because it was her birthday, they gave her a birthday card signed by the entire staff and 4 housemaid truffles. I thank you very much to the staff and be assured we will be back!

We had an absolutely fabulous experience at Ulele during our visit to Tampa. The service was great. Sarah was a fantastic server; so much personality! On our second visit, Michael was so friendly. The food was beyond delicious on both visits. Love the wine and bourbon selection! We can’t say enough about Mike, the General Manager. He was so friendly and outgoing, and made us feel special. We had special beverage sample on our first visit and on our second visit, he helped us “stage” a great picture for my husband! His personality and hospitality are a definite asset to the restaurant. Hats off to Ulele and it’s staff!!!!

I have been to Ulele every time I visit Tampa and I've consistently had a 5 star experience. I am planning on moving to the area soon and when our waitress, Liz, found this out she went above and beyond to make me feel celebrated and welcomed to the area by giving me a signed note by staff and decadent, yummy chocolates. Little acts of kindness and service like this will always keep me coming back for more delicious food and good vibes.

My experience at Ulele was a 5 Star ⭐ experience! My server Liz was very knowledgeable of the food products, and drinks. She made it a lot easier. Both Wedding and Honeymoon Ale were exquisite, but my favorite was the Honeymoon Ale. Food choice with fries and special sauce was absolutely out of this world. I was greeted with kindness, love, and gratitude. I will come back with friends, and family ❤️

Ulele is definitely a restaurant to dine at least once in your life. They have a large space for dining in or grabbing drinks at the bar outside. We had the grilled oysters - which can be seen being made by their open kitchen. The oysters were good however, it was more of cheese + breading than the oyster itself. The Redfish with wild rice and green beans was good. The fish was cooked very well, the rice was alright. The mahi mahi was great as well. Overall, we had a lovely experience. Definitely make reservations before going to dine in.

We sat outside for lunch and it was perfect. Garden setting with river views. Amazing food - save room for dessert - the key lime pie is the star of the show.

Ulele is one of the most beautiful restaurants in the area of Tampa, because everything is really well compensated: The atmosphere, the service and the food. The atmosphere is perfectly good, the perfect light to make the space cossy, decor, restaurant setup. The 5 stars service from start to end, and the last, but not less, the food was spectacularly good. You guys are doing a great job. I recommend this place a 100%

We had a reservation for 8 PM but didn't get seated until after 8:30 and the food was not good enough to warrant how expensive everything was BUT our server Raven was excellent! We had a rowdy table of 10 and she was quick, efficient, nice, and welcoming. Please give her kudos from the heavily tattooed table :) I ordered the New York Strip with mashed potatoes. The steak was a bit overcooked and dry with minimal seasoning and the mashed potatoes were just okay...I've definitely had better for less! The fried calamari appetizer was deliciously seasoned and their frozen Rose is to sooo good. Overall, I think the prices are just too high but I'm leaving a good review simply because Raven did an excellent job.
