The small house was nestled under the propeller-tattooed brow of a sea shell-skinned concrete giant.

Korean bbq finds its home accross the street from CubeSmart.

Sweet aroma of fried fish summons from the parking lot. Sparse vegitation grows at roof top.

The exterior walls are rapped in pale brown stucco finish. Bambo stalks waid in rocks at entrance.

Tear drop hanging bulbs cast light on dark brown/red concrete stage.

Combination of white plaster and wood planked ceilings hover overhead.

Wooden/ceramic mushroom, foax crickets, a dark weighty ceramic pot, and wood-textured-metal elephant all share space on a ledge.

Light wood booths are positioned over aged hardwood floors, afixed with bolted swing doors for privacy.

Steel spoons encased with wooden chop sticks rest on pressed light wood table tops.

Round saucers with sharable toppings are placed before us: pickled jalapeno (really spicy), spicy soy, sprouts, kimchi (mild, short duration pickling), and pancakes.

My plate was topped with fried vegitables and mandu duplings drowned in the deep flavors of bulgogi beef and savory onions; white rice mountain peaks from the saucy plain.

Saw this restaurant had 4.7 rating.Unlike many in this App this place deserved the rating. I tried to pick an off time so to be the crowd.I started with the pork egg roll for appetizer. You could tell they were freshly cooked and I enjoyed them. Main menu item I ordered was Kim Jang Jung spicy chicken. It claimed 30 minutes to fry. It wasn’t quite 30 minutes and arrived freshly cooked. It was definitely more than I could eat- probably meant to share. Had to order rice separately only downside.I was glad I stopped to try this place it was well worth it. Not overly priced like a lot of places inTampa.

Absolutely fantastic Korean food.  I get the beef bugolgi soup, which has the perfect balance of salt, sweet, and savoriness.  It's the type of dish that I only crave MORE after eating it.  Maybe its the salt and sugar.  Who cares - it's awesome!

Really enjoy the authentic Korean food. The restaurant is a bit pasted together but the food is good. My favorite is mandu guk. My wife and I return for standard pan chan and kimchi chigae.

BEST KOREAN in south Tampa. This place looks shitty from the outside to some but it defines great hole in the wall. The Mackerel and Galbi beef are my go-to's along with seafood pancake & kimchi soup.. Iced barley tea was as well... They now filter their tap water, thank goodness! Good service. You leave smelling like the food but that just ensures you kill your leftovers.

Korean cuisine seems to be increasing in popularity and we noticed that Tampa has a higher than average number of Korean Restaurants than other cities we’ve visited. We recently headed over to Sa Ri One Korean Restaurant in Tampa’s Westshore area for dinner and found the food to be plentiful, flavorful and very unique.

Tasty, a little expensive. Service is not great but you do have this button to push to call your waitress so that is not bad. Food is tasty, I do like their lunch bento box combos. It is a bit expensive to go eat there. I admit I do not like the atmosphere very much, it feels dark and cramped but the food is so good I can overlook that. Not a fan of their soups, but grilled mackerel, bulgogi beef or pork (the beef has a sweeter element to it) kimchi dumplings, potato pancake, katsu chicken, and stir fried noodles are what I recommend.

I love here! I live in st Pete, so I don't get to come often enough!

They serve you many little plate if different kind of vegetable. Include kimchi.

I order hot soup thing, my American husband orders some meat dish.
I will say this is the best Korean restaurant in Tampa Bay Area.

Korean done right. We went on a saturday night. Its actually a restaurant in a house. Hole in the wall type of place. Which means it should be delicious.
Definitely try their Bul Go Ki Beef soup. It is delicious with hints of pepper and beefy taste (alot of minerals). Also we got their fried chicken. I got mine the korean style which is suppose to be spicier. It was delicious. The flavor was great. Not as spicy as I thought, but then again I am a champion spice eater.
Service was good and the parking got full pretty quickly.
Word of warning, the fried chicken takes approx 30 minutes to cook. Not sure why, it seems like they actually chop up parts of the chicken in the kitchen. Either that or the nearest KFC is 30 minutes away and they just throw some korean spicy sauce on it. I keed! I keed! I totally know they do not get their friend chicken from KFC.
Would recommend. Delicious.

Not Sa Ri at All. Friends clued us in to and treated us to lunch at this hidden gem. What a feast! In addition to our ample appetizers of pork rolls and a Kimchi pancake to share, I had tender pork and crisp vegetables in a mellow black bean sauce over a huge bowl of arrowroot noodles(Ja Jang Myung). My other half had squid and other seafood in the same sauce with the noodles on the side (Jaeng Ban Ja Jang). And then there were the six dishes of "pickles" that are always on the Korean table for all to share. The service was attentive and informative. Yes, siree!

Really Great!. We tried this place on a Friday night hoping we wouldn't have to be dressed to the nines as we were exhausted and just wanted good food. As all of the reviews have said, this place is a bit small and looks like a house converted to a restaurant. However, who cares!? If you are looking for great Korean food and casual dining this is definitely the place to go. The portions are huge and very reasonably priced. Everything was very authentic-I highly recommend the spring rolls. We will definitely be returning.

This place is small, and seems like a converted house to business. However, the food was absolutely fabulous. I had the Gal bi and while the actual portions seem small if you eat everything then you will be full by the end.

I am not sure what I ate, but it was delicious. It was a noodle-based dish made with arrowroot noodles, veggies, egg, and a thick spicy sauce. A cold broth comes on the side to be poured over the noodles - as much or as little as you want. Portions are HUGE, and prices are reasonable. You have to be on the lookout to find this place though, because the entrance is very unassuming.

I went here today for the first time and found the food to be delicious. The appetizer (Yaki Man Doo) was very fresh and tasty, and the bulgogi beef was extremely tender. The kimchi wasn't as spicy as I like, but my family thought it was spicy enough.

Surprise!. I was checking out more and seeing what else is on here and ran into this place. I never knew this place existed until one of my gfs took me. The food is so good! Spicy or sweet they got it. I love the small bowls and how the atmosphere is like in there. The service is terrific. I was seated at the door so the ladies were always there for me when I needed a refill or something. I don't remember what I order since its been a while but I still remember the spicyness of the kimchi and sweetness of the beef on the pan. YUM!!

Sa Ri One 4/17/11. The food at Sa Ri One is tasty, although I think the portions are a tad bit small for the price. I'm fond of the Duk Bae Gi Bulgoki, but for $15 bucks the bowl is rather small. The best bang for your buck during lunch time is likely the "lunch boxes" ($10) especially compared to other fast food options (yuk).

The interior is nice, I'd categorize it as cozy rather than fancy, which is just fine by me.

The service during lunch is a bit on the slow side. If you want to avoid slow service go after the lunch rush or call ahead. Service during the dinner hours isn't as bad.

Best Authentic Korean Food!. I love so much about this place. I probably don't have to give a review, because most people have good things to say about this place, and if you enjoy Korean food than that should be enough for you to go! Its cute and cozy inside, a little small, but that's okay. I can hear the conversations of others a little too easily :/ Either way, the food is great. Nothing is bad about it. I had a delicious noodle soup!

I love Sa Ri One. The inside is cute (it looks like a real home..) and reminds me of something inside of a Korean drama. The service is so-so during my visits, but the Korean food is consistently great! I love their beef bulgogi and seafood pancakes. Their Galbi Tang is also an excellent choice for those who are sensitive to spiciness like myself. The Galbi inside was tender and delicious and it was huge soup. Sa Ri One isn't cheap (go to Sa Ri One Lunch Box for that), but it has some quality Korean food and there aren't many options here in Tampa!

Not bad at all, much to be desired from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. Very friendly and helpful staff. The selection of side dishes is not as extensive as some but not a bad attempt. The kal bi was tasty. I even tried chicken bulgogi, as far as a chicken dish, it is good, but it does not taste like any bulgogi I have ever tried on the peninsula. I would return.

PRICEY, but GOOD!. My wife and I ate here last night...our 1st visit. As previous reviews mention, the location and restaurant itself are kind of sketchy. Actually an old converted house, the layout is kind of weird but do-able. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent! The menu items are quite pricey with the total for my wife and I just over $50 for the meal. We did however have enough left over for lunch today as the portions are quite large! We will be going back in the future!

Authentic Decor. Sa Ri One is easy to see from 275, that is how we found it. This place looks like an authentic restaurant that would be in the heart of Seoul, down the cramped jagged alleyways built up and added onto over the years. The entire place is handmade inside, even the seating is benches lovingly made of 2x4's and laquered. There are multiple rooms like a house, with table buzzers to make sure you get what you need.
Plus, for metal chopstix and a plus for metal spoons with paper covering.

There are 6 banchan give with entree order, as well as appetizers and a multitude of stews (about $16.99) and cold noodles (about $16.99). Mandoo are not homemade ($11.99). The menu is not that extensive; if you want an extensive menu, check Rice Lounge on Hillsborough. Their banchan is good, and so is their whole leaf kimchi. They do not have grill tables, but their BBQ ($18.99-23.99) is quite tasty and does come with lettuce wraps if asked. Bulgogi is very sweet and they have spicy pork and spicy chicken BBQ. No JaJangKMyun and no Ddukboki. I give it a thumbs up for the atmosphere and for the fish cakes.

Casual/family Korean cuisine, location off the beaten path. Sa Ri One bills itself as a Korean restaurant, and they stick to that. (Unlike Matoi Sushi, which is a short distance away, Sa Ri One doesn't serve sushi).

I ordered galbi (short ribs), which came served on a sizzling platter. The main course was shortly preceded with the customary array of small side dishes (kimchi cabbage, beansprouts, zucchini with chilis, etc.) plus bowl of rice. The taste was definitely Korean, as good as other places where I've had it.

The restaurant is located in a renovated house, with a large parking lot surrounding it. It's not likely to attract many tourists -- at least ones who aren't foodies! -- because it's not east of the airport hotels, but on the other side of a highway overpass. Maybe a business traveller might want to walk over there if he or she really wanted exercise. (I drove).

The waitresses are young, friendly, and efficient. The clientele seemed to be mostly locals, with a large number of Asian patrons. At the booth across from mine, two parents were dishing portions over to a toddler. The feeling is definitely casual.

I will make a return visit to this restaurant when I'm in the area. I probably wouldn't bring a client to the restaurant -- it's not really an expense-account-style venue where I would take someone to impress -- but the local diners seem to enjoy it.

This is so far the best Korean food I’ve ever tried in Tampa Bay. Even more authentic than in New York or California. Every dish on the menu are super delicious . Not only the food are so great, the staff work there are beyond friendly and kind. I believe everyone went there will definitely want to come back again and again. This restaurant is a foodie place. They’re so clean . People who work there are extremely nice like they’re your family. Hands down. It should be rated #1 most unique authentic Korean food in the Nation. I love Sarione!

We came here for lunch today. We ordered the seafood pancake for appetizer, the pork bulgogi and the spicy tofu soup. The pancake and the pork bulgogi were delicious. Somehow, the tofu soup was tasteless. We have had to add lot of salt to bring out the flavor. We could have mentioned to the waiter but we were in the hurry. We will be back again the next time we are in the area.

Since the Sa Ri One in Brandon closed, this is the closest one. We don't get to grill our own meat. It's served as is. The menu is around $20-$30. I got the beef galbi which is around $28. I think it portioned well and had thick slices of beef. It was delicious! It's served on a bed of white onions which I didn't really eat. Still has that slight bite of rawness that I don't like. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals. My brother didn't expect his chicken bulgogi to be spicy though. So watch out for that. Also the seafood pancake came in burnt. We still ate it. It was also missing some salt. Other than that everything was good. The vegetable mandu was very crunchy and I definitely recommend that. They do get busy on the weekend. Lucky to get a table. My dad did feel cramped since they just put a 5th chair at the end of a 4 person table. Had to work with what we got.
