This is a place I definitely recommend you go to get a coffee and Cuban food. While we did not eat here, we had a coffee and looked at what people were eating and chatted with a few people who have been there before and said their food was spectacular. The staff was great and the coffee was excellent. We will definitely be back. Great job everybody who works there
Went to this place for the first time today around 1pm it was busy, the guy who took our order was super friendly and very helpful, I ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage and cheese and a Quesito pastry both were quite delicious. The only downside was they had no Diet Coke which was what I wanted other than that I would rate this place higher if I could. I Highly recommend this place for a Great sandwich and pastry
I came here around 1pm on a weekday. Plenty of room. I ordered a couple Cuban sandwiches to go and a pressed cheesesteak sandwich for there. Also a cafe con leche. My coffee was made at the coffee bar and brought over within 2 minutes, and all the sandwiches and pastries within 5! Crazy! The cheesesteak was delicious! Just the right amount of flavorful aujus and cheese on a warm pressed bread. A little crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Perfect!!! I couldnt eat the sandwich and the pastry I bought. Saving the dessert for later.(Guava cheese flip) A must visit.
Great breakfast spot, the Cuban bread was very good. I had egg sandwich with avocado. Also had a cold brew. My only knock is they forgot the cheese on my sandwich. Otherwise great experience.
I Love the freshly baked Cuban bread and cookies. They also have hot sandwiches which are delicious and filling. The staff is always very friendly, especially Rosa with her energetic smile. Always looking forward to visit this place when I am in Tampa. Definitely recommend it.
Very good food. I was in town for vacation and came to this location for Cuban sandwich and coffee. Very delicious food with reasonable prices. It was so good I went back again for another sandwich.
We were visiting friends and stop in to have coffee and a sandwich. The gentleman making the coffee David was very polite and very helpful. He did and outstanding job. The cashier Angie was just as pleasant and very sweet. I will definitely be returning there every time we visit. It’s nice to see places hire young people that are hard working. Kudos
David and Breck were so nice and quick!! First time there and I’d definitely go back :) cold brew with caramel and cream is amazing!
The cuban sandwich is delicious. I stop by every month while in Tampa for Work and grab one. If I could get them delivered to California I would.
Believe the hype - home of the original Cuban sandwich, this was my first stop from the airport where I ordered one of those, a guava pastry and large cafe con leche.
The servers were friendly, food was out fast and it was every bit as good as I’d dreamed.
The salami on the Cuban is a nod to the early Italian population of Tampa and makes it better than its Miami counterpart in my opinion. The roast pork was flavorful, the bread fresh and perfectly pressed.
The pastry was flaky and jammed full of guava and the coffee was delicious - can’t wait to come back to Tampa if for no other reason than to visit La Segunda!
I ordered an avocado breakfast sandwich and a cafe con leche— both were still hot and fresh despite me being nearly 15 minutes late to pick it up. The bread was perfect, the coffee was great, and the proportions for the price were very fair! Cherry on top: the service members were quick and friendly. I’m glad I stopped in— I’ll most certainly be a repeat customer!
We only got 3 desserts to go but wow they were delicious! Can’t wait to return to the area again for more! The prices can’t be beat anywhere!
Been coming here a lot on my lunch breaks and their Cuban sandwiches are really good! Angelys is usually there when I go and she is very kind and attentive. It’s always seems really orderly and clean inside too! I’ve been recommending this spot every chance I get!
The Cuban bread and cafe con leche were on point! My son loved the steak and cheese sandwich. I’m from Miami and this totally competes with the Latin bakeries/cafes back home!
My first time here. Food was excellent.
Only issue I seen was one employee on break taking up a tablet for four. One customer asked her if she would move to a two seat table, and she refused, she held up the table for 30 minutes during lunch time and the place was slammed.
Great atmosphere and food was even better. I had the avacado and egg sandwich with sun-dried tomatoes. Delicious! And my friend demanded I get one of the quesitos; it was perfect!
Doesn't have as much character as the og location, but it makes up for it in accessibility. Can't miss Cubans and the whole bakery section. The coffee/espresso is also really good.
Good place with delicious food and with the opportunity to upgrade a sandwich, but the service was not so great. I ordered online and they forgot to put to my order one of the drinks, also one of the baking was out of stock. I had to come back for a drink, and the money for pastries was returned. Maybe it's happened due to the high occupancy of the restaurant at that moment, but I guess they can improve the pickup system.
