Mobile. Ive been going here since they opened. Always have fresh good food. Chef salad and beef dip are some of my favorites. One time we had a meal were we did not like, owner was quick to give us a different meal. Love the friendly owners and atmosphere.
Hit or hit. Everything I've had here, barring the cuban, has been phenomenal. Mufaletta's my favorite. Wish it wasn't a la carte, but an order of fries is enough for two college kids, so it's not that punishing.

Hidden Gem in New Tampa!. Oakley's Grille is a hidden gem located on Bruce B. Downs Blvd in New Tampa. It offers a well balanced menu of fresh made-to-order sandwiches prepared with quality meats, cheeses and fresh baked breads. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich and I ordered the Hot Italian Sandwich with carmelized onions. Both sandwiches were prepared with generous portions of ingredients and delivered to our table by Ryan Oakley, one of the owners. When you are in the new Tampa area and hungry for a quality sandwich, do yourself a favor and stop by Oakley's Grille!
Great food and Friendly Owner. I would never have stopped here if a friend hadn't recommended Oakley's, but I'm glad I did. It is an affordable small restaurant with delicious burgers, sandwiches and fries. Everything is made to order. The owner and staff are very polite and nice. The owner, when he is there makes an effort to come around and speak to every guest. I enjoyed the cheeseburger and have had the chicken sandwich with honey mustard and fries--all of it was delicious. They have good specials throughout the week as well like chicken fingers and fries basket, Friday Fajitas for really good prices. I am not a big fan of cheeseburgers, but these are cheeseburgers well worth eating!
Awesome Burgers. The burgers here are phenomenal. Right up there with Burgermonger but they dont have as many toppings. The staff is very friendly.
Superb service. These guys really respect their customers. The food is great too. They even offered halloween candy to the customers dining in. Those little touches go a long way.

We love Oakleys! My sweet husband and I tried Oakleys for the first time last week and boy were we impressed! We were welcomed by the owner Keith and made to feel like long lost friends! Based on Keith's recommendation, we both tried burgers and I'm sure glad we did! All I can say is YUMMERIFIC! One of the the best burgers we've ever had. Cooked to order, tasty, perfection all for under $8.00. The burgers were so good that we went back today for seconds. We had a Philly cheesesteak and a Cuban. The Philly was outta this world good. If you're looking for a great locally owned eatery, give Oakleys a try. You won't be disappointed.
Lives up to the best burger title. Love going to Oakley's for their Tuesday burger and fry deal. Owner and his son make the experience that much butter. Love being able to go local in an area surrounded by chains.
Amazing! my husband and I both got the burgers and they were perfectly cooked which is not any easy thing when we ordered rare and medium rare. They were juicy and the bread was delicious. Needless to say we will be going back soon.
Great food, Great Value. I was hungry the other night for more than fast food but I didn't want to spend more than $20. I ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, and a side of fries because if they claim they are good at burgers and sandwiches I would have to see for myself. I have eaten at burgermonger, burger 21, and It's clear that oakley's is at their level if not better. I know floridians prefer chains because they feel that they may be safer, but you have to go outside of your comfort zone once in awhile in order to really eat well. Take a chance on Oakleys! if you don't like it then write a review about how wrong I was, but you'll be lying.
Surprisingly superb!. My roommate and I went out looking for a cheap meal, but not fast food. Urbanspoon recommended this little small business, so we tried it out. The Daily Special menu is very appealing, and the amount of quality food you receive for the price you pay makes it feel like I'm stealing from them. It's that good. For $7.99, my roommate and I got a drink, fries and a Philly Cheesteak with rib-eye steak. Haven't found a better Philly in Tampa! To top it off, the owner and short staff are the friendliest I've ever met. They introduced us to the entire staff (all 5 that are employed), and truly made us feel right at home. I left full, happy, and raring to go again!
Burgers to die for at a price that is very competitive. The service however is not competitive because it blows their competition away. The owner treats every customer with the same respect and general friendliness that is evident in successful restaurants. DEFINITELY will be back!

Amazing burgers. This place probably had the best burger I've ever tasted. The prices are terrific, food amazing, service tops - I just wish....wish.....wish....they served beer/wine. We'll be back for sure - but maybe for lunch.
Friendly and Fabulous. My husband, two children and I have been eating at Oakley's Grille since it opened. The owner, Keith Oakley, his son, Ryan, and his staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The burgers are outstanding, the food is always fresh and they have healthy meals (grilled chicken fingers) and fresh fruit sides for the kids. Their fries are really great, too. Keith takes pride in the quality of ingredients he uses and is always open to suggestions and comments from guests. Your food is always made-to-order and is piping hot (or nicely cooled) when it comes to your table. I appreciate the detail in the service of the food, such as chilled salad bowls and bringing fries and/or kids' meals to the table first. Other things to try are the fajitas, fruit and walnut salad, roast beef sandwich...really everything is excellent. If you eat there enough, I'm pretty sure Keith will call you by name when you come it.
Pleasant Surprise. We had the pleasure of having lunch at Oakley's Grille today. It can get a bit congested where it is located with the ongoing construction and by generally avoiding the area we never even realized it was there. We have been missing out. The food was fantastic and the staff was friendly. We asked for our fries crispy and they actually took the time to cook them a little longer unlike most places upon that request. We are from up North originally and ate at Penn Station a lot so we are used to more of a crispy toasted bread on the Cheese Steak. Oakley’s is more on the softer side, but that’s certainly not a complaint, it was quality food and service that will bring us back for sure!

Service is impeccable, food is great. I actually just got home from a night that included a stop, for the first time, at Oakley's Grille. A couple of months ago, I purchased a Living Social deal for $10 worth of food and given that I was in the area, it seemed like the perfect night to check it out. As soon as I walked in the restaurant, I was greeted by the owner and he walked us through the menu, telling us how their burgers are cooked and what bread they use for burgers (potato bread) and regular sandwiches (cuban). He made jokes and was extremely personable- something you find, but not in the quantity and quality that this owner gave. Even if the food was just "okay", I can still see myself going here just for the service. However, the burgers were great! I like my meat well done and I was pleased that the burger wasn't lacking in flavor or juiciness. The toppings (tomato, lettuce, onion) were fresh and the bun was soft. The fries were really good too!
I took advantage, not only of the Living Social deal I purchased, but also of the Tuesday deal which was a burger with cheese and toppings with a side of fries for $5.99. We got 2 of these, with fountain drinks, and so I was definitely pleased with the price. As we ate, employees checked on us and conversed with us about the Rays game that was on. We were thanked for our business and it was some of the most genuine thanks that I've come across. You can tell that the owner and his employees want to talk to you, which goes a long way with me. I'll definitely be back!

Glad I finally stopped by!. I drive by Oakley's Grille almost everyday. Knew it was there but never stopped to eat. I'm so glad I finally decided to go. I had the steak sandwich. Was good and I really enjoyed the fries. My boyfriend had a burger which I'm definitely getting next time I go. The OWNER came out to ask how everything was and spent a few minutes with us just talking. How awesome is that?!?!? That welcoming feeling alone makes me want to tell everyone I know to stop by Oakley's if they haven't already!
Good as It gets!!!!. I wish new Tampa had more spots like this. It really cool walking into a restaurant at 10pm (just as they were closing) and meeting the owner. Then being reassured by him that he will do everything he can to take care of you and not to worry about coming in late. The food was outstanding. So far i've tasted the cuban, philly, and the burger and they have all been top notch. Highly Recommended!!!!
The best Burger and Fries ever!!! I love how fresh the food tastes and how friendly the people who worked there are. I randomly went into this restaurant on a work day.. And found free wifi and a great place to eat when I am in the New Tampa area.
Best blackened tilapia sandwich ever! Not to spicy served just right. The side salad was so refreshing and delicious. Can not wait to return with the family.
Heard great things went to give it try for ourselves. Owner greeted us at register, very friendly! Ordered and food came out quick and to perfection. Burgers and fries were extremely tasty. Had a nice chat with the owner, will definitely return for fresh ingredients and friendly service!
Not bad. Been here a few times, burgers are best around. Phily cheesesteak was ok. french dip was good. I go there usually for lunch I wish they had a lunch combo or a side that came with the sandwiches.

Fantastic! Very Refreshing - Truth in Advertising!!. The cover of Oakley's menu says "where appetite meets delicious". Now it's quite refreshing to see truth in advertising.
4 of us went last night. Keith Oakley greeted us as we walked in, and was very patient as we asked questions about the menu. Ordering was a breeze, and with just a few minutes, our meals arrived.
All of us were MORE THAN IMPRESSED. Oakley's food was fantastic. P had the "black and blue" burger, - mid rare, and it was cooked perfectly. She said it's probably the best burger she's ever had in Tampa!
A had the black angus cheeseburger - his also, cooked perfectly to order. M ordered the grilled reuben, and said the beef was excellent and lean. I had the mushroom swiss burger - rare, and again, perfectly prepared, fresh and delicious.
The team behind the counter in the open-air kitchen were obviously pros, and it was clear they actually ENJOYED preparing delicious foods for their guests! What a great team of people!
All of us gave Oakley's 2 thumbs up, and highly recommend it. Prices are great, and we wish Keith Oakley all the best in success!

Went to Oakley's Grill for the first time today. Steve Oakley was very helpful and I could tell his goal was to please his customers. I tried the mufalatta and it was one of the best I ever had. My husband ordered the Cuban and said it was delicious. We will definitely go back and highly recommend it
Owners really care about the customer. I hope that they make it. The sandwiches are excellent, nearly crossing the divide to gourmet level. Try Oakley's. It is worth it.

BEST BURGER EVER!. 5 Guys should be EMBARRASSED! The black and blue burger and hands down the BEST TASTING BURGER I have ever had in my life. There's nothing more to say about it.
The prices are reasonable and the service is uncanny. The owner takes your order, and then throughout your meal will personally make sure everything is perfect.
Great Place!!!!. I ate at Oakleys 7/30/11. The food was really good!!! We had the club and the turkey sandwich, they were both AWESOME!!!! The staff was extremely accomodating and very customer focused. I will definitely be a regular customer!!!! Oh yeah, you have to try the fries!!!!!!

Great sandwichs and awesome staff. My husband and I wanted to try a sandwich from somewhere new and had seen the sign for the new Oakley's Grille. We went in last night and ordered a Muffaletta and a chicken sandwich. The Muffaletta was not your ordinary Muffaletta, as they pressed it (similar to a pressed cuban but with all Muffaletta ingredients). It was fantastic. They suggested that my husband have his chicken sandwich blackened with sauteed mushrooms, onions, and melted swiss added. It was also fantastic! Very nice, large, lean piece of chicken. they were experimenting with some new things, still expanding the menu, and they made a delicious chicken quesadilla, which they asked us to sample. We REALLY hope they add it to the menu, as we like tortillas and wraps a lot, and this Q with chicken and sauteed onions and peppers was great! Didn't try their burgers, but they are also a menu choice. If you are looking for a high quality sandwich, this is a great find. Extremely friendly folks too--really enjoyed it and we hope they are successful in their new venture!
Went through Tampa and got some food with an old freind that lived near this place. Staff was great! I had the cheesesteak, it was good. It wasn't the typical cheesesteak I was expecting. It wasn't greasy and had a strong pepper taste. I'd go back if I passed through again. The place just opened...still had it's grand opening sign up.
We were going to a play in Tampa today so we ate lunch at Oakley’s Grille. It’s a little sandwich shop and I’m glad we got there when we did because the place filled up fast. I went for a mushroom burger since they’re famous for their burgers. Loren got the muffaleta sandwich. He said it was good, but more like a Cuban sandwich. He prefers the muffalettas at the Cleveland Street Café. He said he would have liked some additional veggies on it, maybe some lettuce and tomato and would have preferred it not pressed. My burger was really flavorful. Cooked a perfect medium, juicy, and dripping cheese and mushrooms. They actually put the mushrooms on top of the cheese. I think I would have put them under the cheese to help seal them in. We split an order of fries between us. At first, I really liked them, but the more I ate, the more I realized just how salty they were. The staff was very friendly, though with the open kitchen, I could see the cooks getting a lit
Frammi’s is by far the most authentic Italian food around. Everything is made to order and the owners are always working and making it a great experience. The meatballs, garlic bread, lasagna and every pasta dish has been perfection. They sell their own olive oil, I highly recommend you buy it!
Frammi is seriously the best restaurant in town!! Between my husband and I and the friends and family we’ve brought we’ve tried several different menu items and everything has been absolutely delicious. Luca and his crew go out of their way to make everyone feel very welcome and Luca does an amazing job crafting every dish and recommending food and wine for your preferences. You really can’t go wrong, but try the Luca’s Sauce pasta and thank me later.
I know you don't really need another 5 star review, but I can't say enough about this place. I found this place thru google looking for a hamburger, and to my surprise found out they also cook Italian food. Authentic Italian food!!!!!! Im from NYC and can attest they are the real deal. I finally got some penne ala vodka in the Tampa area that actually is as good as NY!! The people who work here are kind, attentive and professional. As a newbie to the Tampa area, I def recommend this place to all that miss good Italian food from NY. I had their penne alla vodka, My wife had the Luca sauce pasta, and my son had chicken fingers with fries (not Italian but still was good according to my 7 year old lol). All 3 entrées were delicious.
This place has my heart! Once you come in it feels like you’re at home. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I’m in love with their lasagna. Luca and Erika are always attentive and make sure that every visit is amazing!
I wanted to try a new place that served burgers and Frammi popped up, so decided to try it. I wasn't sure what I expected, but definitely want to go back and try an Italian entree. The burgers are very meaty, 1/2 pound that's a lot of beef. No fillers, all meat, grilled perfectly. My burger was the Black Angus with provolone and the fries were hot and crispy. My son got the ghost pepper burger with fries The server brought out crispy bread sticks while we waited. The food came out a little slower, as it's prepared as the orders are placed, so very fresh and hot. Glad we tried it.
Absolutely delicious food! Very authentic Italian meals. The chef/owner Luca is the absolute best and super attentive. This is where my family goes anytime we are craving some delicious pasta. We had the carbonara, kamikaze, ragú and vongole and each one was excellent. We also had the tiramisu at the end which is made everyday in house and it is the best tiramisu we have ever had, don’t go there without trying it. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants authentic Italian pasta made by an Italian chef!

I hesitated sharing this review because I’d like to keep its greatness all to myself. Went here the other night after looking for somewhere new to try. I had been hesitant to try out Italian food in Tampa since trying Rocca a year ago (that so many people raved over, but let’s be honest, it’s just mediocre). Upon arriving to Frammi, there was a short (under 20 min) wait around 8 pm on a Friday. We had a bottle of very delicious wine, the burrata caprese, luca’s sauce pasta, and another pasta that I can’t remember the name of but it said “light spicy” on the menu, before taking the tiramisu home for dessert. Everything was spectacular! However, for my Alfredo lovers, I HIGHLY recommend the Luca’s Sauce! I asked them if they sold it on its own because I would’ve bought a quart the next time I had guests come over. Unfortunately, they do not sell it on its own. But we did learn that the owner, Luca, created the sauce after he opened the restaurant to cater to Alfredo lovers (as they don’t make this sauce in Italy). He puts every Alfredo pasta I have ever had to shame! Don’t order this unless you want every other Italian restaurant ruined for you!
A young man who looked to be in high school was our server, he was very attentive and knowledgeable. And towards the end of our evening, the owner came by to check on us and see how we enjoyed everything.
This is clearly a man who loves what he does and puts his heart into it. Everything is made fresh when you order it and it’s so we’ll prepared. I would never send anyone in Tampa to another Italian restaurant as long as this one exists.
AMAZING!! Luca and Erica catered a 16 person luncheon for me when they were already double booked on the same day. They didn’t say no. Instead they said, “Absolutely”. The Lasagna, Eggplant Parmigiana and Meatballs and freshly made Tiramisu were all delicious favorites! The Caesar and House Salads with Italian bread, dressings and shredded cheese were all complimentary.
The luncheon was absolutely PERFECT!
If you’re are looking for that special authentic Italian flavor, look no more!
I heard they had wonderful burgers and this is absolutely accurate! I had the ghost pepper burger perfectly cooked to order. Customer service and chef is amazing. There was a mix up on my order and it was fixed immediately. Will be back to try the pasta!

Best burgers in the world! They're so juicy and you can order them medium rare to well done. They have both an American menu and an italian menu. The chef is an Italian chef, and I believe he runs it with his wife and they are so friendly and generous. This place really deserves more recognition. The food is amazing!
