The Staff was really friendly. The FOOD was INCREDIBLE. I had Texas BBQ and their Brisket was the same. The Food portion are really good. This is the place to go in Tampa. PS if your follow Google Maps its on your left not the right.... :0)

Typically really good food. The brisket is normally tangy and tender, but this last visit it was dry. Regardless, the great house sauces helped make it much better and the sides (Mac and cheese and baked beans) were great as usual. Any other time I'd give them 5 stars.

I stopped in at the South Tampa location. I tried the burnt ends for the first time and I had the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. I loved the burnt ends. They were out if this world delicious- smoky savory and the sauce was perfect with it. The food was just awesome. I thought the service was good and I would come back again.

This was our first time here and my fiancé and I loved it! I had the pulled pork which was fresh and not dry at all. The mac and cheese was a little dry but still very good. The restaurant itself was very clean and the service was friendly. I would recommend this place for a good bbq.

The food is always wonderful but fair warning when you order the catering don't expect to get serving utensils included with the food order. Strange I know, but when I mentioned it after our order receipt was emailed to me, I was told very bluntly that I hadn't ordered them or paid for them..... Sorry, but that is not something I have had to "order" from any other restaurant. It was never mentioned that they wouldn't be included, but when I reviewed the order summary later it is listed in small print at the bottom. Anyway, I never even considered it or looked for it because as I said before I have NEVER had to worry about serving utensils before. Maybe they think people should serve with their fingers? So I'm taking them off my list of catering vendors because I know for sure that I won't remember that for the next time either. It's a shame because I really liked the food.

I visited the new location in Downtown Tampa. I tried the Burnt Ends (BBQ Candy) dinner. It came with 2 sides and I decided to get the corn fritters (yummy) and the Jalapeno Mac n Cheese (yummy)! I'm from Louisiana and this is the best food I've had downtown closest to "soul food". Everything on the bar (different meats & sides) looked delicious. I will be going back often as it is walking distance from my job. =)

Some of the Best BBQ I have ever had. Just wish they had a location in West Tampa, but I make the drive at least once a week to get my BBQ fix from them. Love the ribs, pull pork and the marinated beef tips are to die for. Make sure to check it out!!!!

While the price has definitely gone up over the past few years, Holy Hog remains arguably the best BBQ in tampa. Rarely have I received a meal that I was dissapointed in. Given the overall quality of not only the meats, but also the sides and sauces at Holy Hog, there is no other BBQ place in town I'd rather eat.

Awesome BBQ place and fair prices. More than I could eat in one sitting for $11. Fun friendly atmosphere. We have had them cater to office lunches before and that was good, in person is much better.

I'm a regular here because they earned it. They are a match for Big John's Alabama BBQ easily and don't require a drive across town. As to the 1 star raters listed I'm guessing they are friends and/or family of the owner of some other BBQ establishment or wouldn't know good food if it sat on their face and wiggled.

I ate too much cue! We found this place while looking for barbeque in Tampa. Based on the reviews, I expected the food to be good and i was not disappointed. We ordered a full slab of ribs, the brisket sandwich, green beans, and jalapeno mac n cheese. The sides were seasoned well, the ribs were so tender they didn't need barbeque sauce, and the brisket was meh. This was my first time trying brisket and although it was cooked well, I guess I just don't like that part of the cow. They have three sauces, a north Carolina mustard based sauce, a sweet thicker sauce and a thinner spicy sauce. I love spicy food but i felt the spicy sauce lacked a kick. The service was fast and friendly. The bathrooms were very clean. I would definitely recommend and revisit Holy Hog barbeque.

i found the sausage meat and sauces to be excellent. Although the bread was not fresh. it was crusty, it could have happened in the way they process the food through their cafeteria style distribution. i may have just got a stale bun. I will come back though because the quality of the spicy macaroni was delicious. I also want to check out the FISH FRY FRIDAY! 6/13/2012...loving the fish and hush puppies!

My girlfriend and I pass Holy Hog every day, twice a day, on the way they gym. Decided to grab lunch there and it was awesome. Super clean on the inside, friendly people working there, and homemade delicious BBQ! We will go back,

I can always depend on a friendly greeting and a great lunch. I particularly enjoy the brisket but the mac and cheese is a generously cheesy, dependable side. Don't forget to grab some Cheerwine!
