Cappy's Pizzeria - South Tampa - Tampa - Photo album

Ordering from an album cover menu was cute. Quaint, nostalgic and cozy describe the atmosphere. We were fortunate to dine there shortly after they opened. Chris was friendly and helpful.
This location is the original of the 5 Cappy’s in the area. It has a cool retro charm, easy going, family friendly atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is tight but there is a parking lot across the street to accommodate overflow. The restaurant itself is a bit small so can feel crowd
Delicious Italian style pizza with good homemade sauce. The crust is just right, you have to give just a little pull to bite through it. Many choices for toppings, I’m sure you will find your favorite. Great eclectic home style dinning in or out. Family friendly, Cash only, atm on-site, weekends be
The deep dish pizza here was phenomenal!! Great service. The restaurant is very small and parking is limited, but it's definitely worth ordering for take out! We dined in and had a great experience and are definitely coming back!
Great pizza/ great owner- beautiful establishment. If you're in the Tampa area I highly recommend this place. Definitely worth the wait.
We went for the Chicago style pizza. As a very long time customer I was surprised to see that they cut down on all of the ingredients including the thickness of the crust. It still has great flavor but it’s like a diet version of what it was prior to Covid. The wait staff was friendly and nice. She
Traveling from Mississippi and my husband is Originally from Chicago. We don't have any true Chicago deep dish restaurants in Mississippi so whenever we travel it is usually the first thing we look for. That being said...... If you're a first timer here like we were tonight and you're questioning wh
Great food, great service. Pizza almost like NY, plenty of cheese and pepperoni! Definitely going back again .
The Chicago deep dish is equally as good if not better than Giordano's or Lou's. Their Greek salad and regular crust pies are also pretty outstanding.
Old time Chicago pizza shop. Serves only salad and pizza, cash only. Offers gluten free crust
Really enjoyed the pizza here - very quaint and unique spot that feels cozy and truly feels like a neighborhood spot. Service was pretty quick for two pizzas, including a deep dish. The New York style pizza is fantastic, dough and sauce are on point and pretty satisfying level of cheese. The deep di
We had an amazing dinner at Cappy’s. After starting with the small Greek salad, we moved on to a medium Chicago pizza with sausage, green olives, and banana peppers. The salad was fresh and delicious, while the pizza was the best deep dish we’ve ever had outside of Chicago. The staff were super nice
Cappys is among the best pizza I've ever had. The deep dish is legit! Don't sleep on this place. What it might lack in curb appeal, it makes up for with intense flavors in your pie!
Great pizza 🍕 Good service. Relaxed pleasant atmosphere. Always enjoyable at Cappys Pizzeria.
A friend recently moved around the corner and picked up a pie. Both of us being from Jersey I don't do much pizza till I visit up north but I got back to Sarasota and was ranting about a pizza joint in Tampa. It's gotta be the ingredients! Pepperoni without heartburn😄. Real cheese's. I've been in Fl
Great pizza, they need to move to a bigger location with more parking, I would go more often
Cappy's is a South Tampa staple serving both thin and thick crust pizzas, calzones, and delish greek salad. The pizzas are a very generous size and usually very good.. The atmosphere is old hip, with menus printed on old 70's and 80's album covers, and a friendly staff. Beware! Cash only! (They have
Small spot with excellent pizza and salads. We ordered 1/2 a Greek salad and the Sicilian Pizza both were excellent.
