The food was great. If you haven't tried cooking your steak on the black stone, TRY IT. I was skeptical at first, but the steak actually tasted better, and you get to dip it and cook it in the sauces. Waitress was very nice and attentive. For a little bit more upscale place, I didn't expect to hear
This was definitely an experience everyone should do, atleast once. Things I wish I knew beforehand. The restaurant was frigid and smoky inside. (If you have asthma or breathing problems you will need to get fresh air periodically) Ask for your protein raw (on the side) vs on the slab. This way you
1st, a huge shout out to Tiana our waitress. She was sweet, had great recommendations, and made us feel like a priority. Give this girl a raise. The food selection was outstanding. I ended up with steak and coconut shrimp. He got the “taste of black rock” which was a 4oz filet and 6 oz sirloin.
We were celebrating our friend’s 90th birthday. We had about 20 people and a few of them had never been there before. Black Rock Grill did not disappoint. The food was excellent as always ( I’m a regular) and our server, Luke, went far beyond what we could have expected to ensure the celebration was
Second time visiting this place, don’t disappoint. If you want to impress someone bring them here they gone love it. You cook your own stake at your table, sou nice. I order this burger with mozzarella against bread and was my favorite
The restaurant was smokey and dim upon arrival. The host and server were attentive and well mannered. Ordered the chicken carbonara with mashed potatoes and asparagus, it was all salty. I suggested cooking your own meat on the hot stone or ordering your food without salt on everything. The lemonade
Black Rock was a new experience for us. We never cooked on a 750° rock before, and the food came out delicious! (Hint from the server- put your meat on the side and cook a bite or two at a time). Server was great, the food (both what we cooked and what came from the kitchen) was perfect, and it was
This was a really cool experience! They bring a steak to the table on a scorching hot black slab. You cook the steak to your preference with seasoning and buttery garlic sauce. The brussel sprouts were amazing as well and my baked potato was cooked perfectly. The server was super friendly and the at
We recently went to Black Rock and were seating in a section that a new server was supposed to have. He never came and acknowledged us because he didn’t realize it was apart of his section. After 15 minutes of waiting Hannah E. saw that we had been sitting for a while and took over our table. She wa
Went for our anniversary last night and it was PHENOMENAL! SO MUCH FOOD for the price. It's good quality at a good price. Our server was Tineecia and she was amazing! She was engaging and helpful and on top of our table anytime we needed anything. One hell of a server, give that girl a raise! She de
I ate at the BAR. My server/bartender was DANIELLE. She was awesome, been here for years. Most likely you can catch her here Thursday night, and earlier on the weekends. I went during happy hour on Sunday - 11am to 3pm - as you can see from my bill they have fair happy hour prices on food and d
Our waitress was phenomenal! Very attentive, great attitude, genuinely excited to make it the best experience!!! The restaurant was really nice and clean. Read a lot of reviews about it being smoky in there and can definitely see why that was mentioned. Honestly it was no problem dealing with it esp
Our daughter recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. It was a casually dressed environment.
Black Rock Grill is truly a unique dining experience. I was there Saturday. This is the place to go for a birthday, anniversary or special occasion dinner. If you want to impress an out of town guest this is the place to go. If you love steak, Black Rock will be your new favorite restaurant. Than
Food itself was fantastic! Flavor wise, the butter, the sides and sauces, all really good. The salad had lettuce that was not fresh though (3 out of 4 of us), and there were a few other flaws, like cheap silverware that couldn't handle the food and ventilation for the greasy smoke/fog.
Unique dining experience! Fun idea searing your steak to your liking on a hot black rock. They offer a wide variety of options and we enjoyed our evening with delicious food. Service by Patrick was the best. Craig an owner was excellent and had a hands on approach to make sure everything was good.
The Summer Rocking Hours specials were wonderful! A variety of menu choices including a beautiful 8 oz Ahi tuna cooked on the rock at the table. Hubby loved his bacon cheeseburger. Hot, fluffy baked potatoes were a nice addition, not to mention a $4 Dirty Martini. If you dont mind eating before 6pm,
The salads were great, fresh, the pasta dish was also very good, someone else in our party ordered the hamburger and he enjoyed that. I ordered the Maui Maui and that was way too spicy for me. I like spicy food but that wasn’t enjoyable for me. The fries were amazing.
