A hidden gem in Tampa. The restaurant was so romantic and beautiful. The food tasted delicious and fresh. The devil eggs was to die for and the Shepard’s pie was so delicious for a good cook night in Florida. There was outside seatings and inside. The tea here was amazing and tasted so refreshing. Highly recommend if you’re in the Tampa area.
The product represents it’s name, Café European. It really carries the European flavor. Cozy, the service was very friendly and the food was excellent and steaming hot! Enjoy the following photos of the risotto appetizer, the lamb shank entrée and the bread & butter pudding dessert! You need to try them! Cheers!
Beef Wellington! Our wedding anniversary. Outside under the stars on their patio. Perfect food, atmosphere, service. Memorable. We want to go back to try their Fish & Chips! Our first time here. Owners are chef and waiter so take pride in their food and service.
Excellent food and service! Beautiful little spot with a cute outdoor eating area under a giant tree. Food is fresh and very tasty. They serve everything the British way which is great. The sticky toffee pudding is amazing for dessert!
Café European transplanted itself from its Hyde Park roots to its newer Westshore location a couple of years ago. While this location is not as central, it is more quaint and has a beautiful exterior patio for dining in nicer weather. The food remains the same. Great European dishes like Italian Sausage and vegetable soup, Greek Quinoa Salad, Prosciutto Boursin Chicken, and a Strawberry crepe with nutella are all prepared by Chef/owner Suzanne Vanderburg
The food is prepared fresh and with love. We had the pleasure of sitting at the bar and watching the chef work. Everything tasted great! We ordered four appetizers and two entrees and a drink and still our bill was under $100. I can recommend the goulash, french fries, mushrooms, chicken soup, calamari and wasabi sauce, and the spicy deviled eggs. The mushrooms were AMAZING! The hospitality is kind as patient. There is a lot of love cooked in every dish. One word of advice: MAKE RESERVATIONS. Enjoy!
Nice atmosphere, went in for a coffee after dinner, and now look forward to returning for a meal. The menu looks enticing and the quaint vibe made me want to stay for a while.
Been here twice and both times were fantastic. Absolutely love the Beef Wellington! Carrot soup was also delicious. Also it’s BYOB and the outdoor patio is adorable.
Absolutely love this excellent restaurant! The food is always fresh, beautiful and lovingly prepared and downright delicious! Lovely cozy environment and a beautiful outside setting under a majestic oak tree! Mike and Susie are incredibly hospitable and over the top kind. Excellent fish always cooked to perfection! Check the specials always unique and don’t forget the salad with their special dressing!
Cute, quiet little spot. Good food, great service. Highly recommend the quiche.
