I love holding meetings here as well as hosting classes for my nonprofit in their conference room. Great welcoming environment with comfy furniture and delicious lattes. Portico is doing amazing things for the unhoused and Tampa Community at large. Enjoy your coffee and make a difference. You can't beat that.
Seeing the world In a different way
After catching a great instagram photo of the Tampa postcard mural, I recommend that you walk around the N Florida Ave area. There you can find other colourful murals, old church sites and an impressive bronze sculpture of Homeless Jesus.
After sightseeing, you may wish to recharge with a refreshing snack and coffee. For that I suggest you treat yourself at The Portico cafe. The Portico cafe has good food, tasty coffee and friendly staff.
This community centre has the spirit of giving hope to those who may need it the most.
If you like my reviews, photos or videos then support the community by helping others, you may find it more rewarding than you could have ever imagined.

This upscale "coffee shop" is the place to go close to downtown Tampa for a light breakfast or lunch. The employees are some of the nicest people in the service industry.
This is a walk up and order kind of place however the seating in the Cafe is modern and very comfortable. Make sure you add the house made Pimento Cheese Spread to your Turkey Club, for a limited time.

I was walking past this place when I began to smell the aroma of food and coffee, it was a cool morning and I was itching to find a spot to sit and eat after a rough time in traffic. I was greated with warm “hellos” and soft introductions. This location was brand new and the staff talked me through how being a subsidary of the church. This non-profit coffee shop contibutes greatly to the homeless in Tampa. I was shocked, I felt special to know that this truly organic cafe with caring staff worked so hard selflessly. This location has multiple meetings spaces you can rent for less to nothing, gift items for friends or family, and of course amazing coffee and food. Check out my photos I uploaded as they are undervalued if described. This place is gorgeous, clean, and well taken care of. The staff(pictured)will have you feeling like family and you will almost always leave with a smile. I highly recommend from the bottom of my heart to any coffee drinker, businessman, doctor, or passerby in this area.

Great venue! Amazing food. Great cause! Great community of supportive people who all have the same goals. Parking is the only difficulty we had, but that is to be expected in Tampa. If you haven’t been to an open mic night or just stopped by to get some good coffee this a place you should definitely try out!

I like how they give the homeless and others an opportunity at work and resetting life. There's a nice little coffee shop + occasional community events
