We love the Fat Rabbit! This place is usually pretty crowded for dinner so we tend to sit at the bar. The bartenders, Aaron and Travis are always super friendly and they make great cocktails too. The food is great, I switch between the wings and the tots - poutine style. Btw, their wings are naked, no breading — I keep telling myself that they’re healthier without all that breading and you can eat more wings that way too!
We had a great time at The Fat Rabbit!
Our server was wonderful and very friendly. We had the everything seasoning pretzel - loaded fries - adult grilled cheese - broccoli. We also tried a local hard cider that the server recommended.
Everything was absolutely PERFECT!
I was very impressed with the entire package. I highly recommend a stop here - they have options for all and I'm sure everything will be very tasty!
A new place to try. Doesn't look like much on the outside. I actually missed it when I was looking for the place.
Inside isn't much better. Standard cookie cutter sports bar.
We went there for a light dinner. Plenty of bar favorites on the menu. We opted for the wings and a pretzel flight.
Both came out together and both looked delicious. And they were. House made beer cheese and brown mustard for the pretzels. Nice and hot and the right amount of chewiness. The wings were cooked up right for my taste. I am not a fan of slimy chicken skin. Nice and crispy and meaty. I got the Daytona and a Buffalo Garlic Ranch.
We had drinks. I had a pink sour beer. Nice. My date had a wine. They have a drink happy hour.
Great local spot to grab a cold beer and delicious burgers. Staff was super friendly and atmosphere was was nice. We'll definitely be back!°
We are from out of town and wanted some good local food. Found the Fat Rabbit. The drinks were great and the food was excellent. I highly recommend "The Irishman " burger, I can't even describe how amazingly tasty this burger was. We will be back.
Have been doing a little exploring of my local pubs recently. Finally had the opportunity to visit "The Fat Rabbit Pub" yesterday, and I am sure glad I did!
Great comfortable atmosphere, playing 80's music this old "boomer" could recognize, lol.
Great menu, with plenty of chef-inspired burgers to choose from. I selected "El Diablo" with fried jalapenos, and all the other usual fixings... and a side of tots and in house made Chipotle Ranch dipping sauce. In addition, plenty of beer choices on tap. I was NOT disappointed in the slightest!
I'll definitely be back soon....
For more than year, been dring outta my way for the marinated/baked wings. We all agreed they're best in area. Thursday, was told they no longer offer them. I settled for one of the other varieties. Didn't rate any better than wings available at places right in my neighborhood. Glad ordered only 5, usually did 10 (20 when there were 3 of us). Everyone I introduced to the baked wings agreed they're the best, including friend who on Thursday drove from Brandon to order them.
Out of all of the dishes that we ordered, we weren’t expecting the sides to be the dish I liked the most - the tater tots were so well seasoned and fresh that I could eat just that. The Real McCoy burger
was yummy with a perfectly fried egg, double bacon, Swiss and American cheeses, caramelized onions served on Texas toast. We got the 20 wings to try 4 difference sauces (Daytona, Fat Rabbit, Garlic Parmesan, and Buffalo). The Fat Rabbit sauce was interesting - it’s a homemade cilantro sauce that is reminiscent of an green chili sauce but more on the cilantro side. I wasn’t a fan of the Daytona sauce which I found strange because I typically love BBQ sauced wings. Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan were mid. Lastly, the Smokehouse burger left something to be desired.
TORN BETWEEN THE BEST CHEF IN TAMPA OR THE BEST WINGS.
My boyfriend and I went out to visit the Fat Rabbit lastnight and it was perfect. The head chef Cole came over to ensure that everything was going well and that we were enjoying our meal. Cole is truly one of a kind with amazing hospitality. He suggested the Real McCoy burger and I can still taste it, the combination of different flavors, the texture….. PERFECTION I am not a fan or burgers or wings however this place has a lifetime visitor. The wings were perfectly crisp not too tuff/dry and not too soggy everything was perfect. Brooks was our server and Hannah would check in on us as well from time to time (they were also amazing). This place is a gem and I would love to keep it hidden but others need to know about this place.
I have tasted perhaps the best wings in the new Tampa area. Perfectly crispy and not an overwhelming amount of sauce. I had the garlic/Parmesan and the dry rub blackened. Delicious!
Came here on a whim and so glad we did! Service was very friendly and outgoing. Restaurant was very clean. Food was fresh and hot. I had the Music City Yard bird which was amazing! And the fries were perfect. Drinks were perfect. Really hit the spot and will definitely return!
I've been coming here for years, and it is always a great experience. Great food and beer selection. Bartenders are knowledgeable and fast.
My 1st time here was good. I had the wings in the garlic Parm flavor, which was good. the nachos were good too. I will need to go back to try more items, but overall, it is a good place to eat.
This is hands down the best spot for elevated sports pub fare in the USF-Temple Terrace area. Great wings, awesome tots, and a superb selection of spirits and brews.
We arrived shortly after they opened.
We sat at the second low top table in from the door positioned in front of the wall of windows.
The interior was warm at first, but once I asked them to turn the overhead fans on that got the air flowing and cooled it down.
The stand out for me was the pretzel flight.
The Sriracha pretzel landed in the number one spot, followed by the everything bagel, and the sea salt in its foundational pretzel place.
The tots were crispy, perfectly seasoned and generous in the mini basket holder.
For me, the carbs won this round over my kickin chicken wrap.
We were looking for a late lunch, and this was the perfect spot! We ate at the bar, and the bartender was very attentive - she filled drinks so quickly, there was one time I didn't see her! The menu was expansive, and we were both very happy with our sandwiches. I would definitely recommend a visit, as well as the Key West grilled chicken sandwich!
Ordered the slider flight appetizer. Chicken sandwich was the best, pork sandwich was good and burger was burger. For an entree got the buffalo rice bowl. Very delicious would definitely order again. For an entree we also got 5 Daytona wings + 5 fat rabbit wings. Both were great! :) If possible overall would give a 4.5 rating.
One of the best Poutines I've ever had the pretzels were excellent as well. Wings were large and great sauces. Excellent drinks.
Nice welcoming pub environment with anthropomorphic rabbits scattered about (at least in the corner I was sitting in). Lots of beverages to choose from. Staff was friendly. Seating was comfortable. Not too crowded for noon on a Saturday. Felt comfortable bringing the kids here, and there were other kids as well (although no specific kids menu as far as I could tell). One drink and food for a family of five pre-tip ran about $75. There were only two servers working the whole place, so they were extremely busy. Anyhow, soft pretzel was great, G&B salad with some blackened chicken was delicious, and the kids loved the simple order of tater tots.
