One of the best poke places I've been to, even compared to regular places I usually go to back in California. I found this place during my stay here and am very happy to have found it. The prices and service were great and the food was excellent. Everything was very fresh. Definitely recommend!
Went to U Poke Spot for the first time. Service was excellent, poke was pretty good enough to return. Fried rice was good and also the Takoyaki. Will return.
Mifen(rice noodles) is very authentic! Very friendly staff and great service.

Oh, why did I not come to this place sooner ? Funny thing is, I did when it first opened, but was hesitant once I came in and decided to walk out .
Well I'm glad I finally decided to give them a try. Their food is absolutely delicious ! Very light and good for the body. You are free to customize your own bowl as I did which I really enjoyed, it was fun and the end result was worth it. All the flavors came together beautifully and everything from the base, to the toppings, to the proteins just really complimented each other nicely.
What's even better is that their prices are affordable. I was surprised to see my total only come up to $11.88. For the quality and the portion, it was definitely worth it. I would love to come back again, and I have to try their sushi burrito! I understand this place might not be for everybody, but for those who appreciate this kind of cuisine, you will not be disappointed!
P.S the staff member I dealt with was very patient and knowledgeable. I felt like a lost fish when I first arrived, and she even complimented my bowl at the end .
Also, cooked proteins available (chicken & shrimp) , raw isn’t a must !
They have so many delicious options for your poke bowl or burrito. All the ingredients look fresh and taste great! The pricing is very inexpensive. For the amount you would pay for 2 basic sushi rolls or 1 specialty roll you can get an entire bowl with about 7x's the amount of food! U Poke Spot has a larger variety and better tasting ingredients than any of the other poke bowl places I've been to.
So good...I had the Hawaiian Classic bowl and it was delicious. The serving size was pretty large, so it was a good value. All ingredients seemed very fresh. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the sweet items in the bowl such as the mango relish and the pickled vegetables, but that's just a personal preference so I will ask for those to be omitted next time. The sauce was perfect.

Decent food, but slightly overpriced for the size and more muted flavors. Do yourself a favor and go to Fishbowl instead. You get double the food and it’s more flavorful and delicious.
So good! We had a spot back in Japan with fresh caught fish so we had really high expectations for this place. We were not disappointed!
The poke was so good! There’s plenty of seating and super clean. Try their spicy salmon and spicy tuna it’s absolutely delicious. We did the build your own bowl but they also have a menu to choose from. We will definitely be coming back 😋
One of my favorite Tampa POKE places...and there are lots to choose from. I love the fresh quality ingredients, the generous portions of toppings, and friendly staff. (I hate when poke places give pinches of toppings with their tongs...C'mon now, they're mostly veggies!) They are also very clean, sanitary, and take COVID-19 precautions seriously.
Poké is a Hawaiian dish which and it's basically all of your favorite sushi ingredients put in a bowl complimented by sauce(s) of your choosing. The best poké bowl in town, hands down. You get a ton of food for a decent price and a wide range of fresh ingredient options. There's plenty of parking and plenty of room in the store for eating in. Nice environment and lots of natural light from the windows. And most of all, very, very clean. The owners are extremely accommodating for any mistakes or complaints. A wonderful place to work ad well. Conveniently located just across the street from USF. Little known fact, if you show your USF ID at check out you get a 10% discount! Come check out this local, family owned business.
This place is great. Awesome food all around. Think of an Asian Chipotle. You build your sushi bowl or burrito. You can get chicken too and salad type bowls if you don't want raw. Spicy tuna was delicious.
I loved this place! I got the tuna with the calamari salad on white rice and a bunch of toppings. So delicious! This is not close to my house but I will definitely come back soon.

U Poke Spot wasn't very busy when I came in. . The employees were very helpful with helping me build my bowl and even gave me a sample of a sauce.The only negative I could come up with is that the rice wasn't my favorite. I prefer sushi rice in my bowls I would highly recommend going here if you're in the mood for a poke bowl! 10/10 would eat again!
The Tropical Dragon burrito was massive and absolutely delicious. 10/10 would eat again!
I love this place I was a little hesitant at first time trying poke. But I was pleasantly surprised it was full of flavor. I customized my bowl addee some of my favorites and tried some new stuff along with the poke sauce and spicy mayo.
