The food was incredibly tasty, and the atmosphere radiated warmth. Our server was exceptionally friendly, provided excellent vegetarian recommendations; she was fantastic. enhancing our dining experience, and we even savored a complimentary dessert.
Decent hibachi food overall. The absolute best thing was the portion size. Get ready for more food than you can handle in one sitting. The wait times seemed to be very long even on a Monday. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow and the steak was overcooked to a week done when it was ordered medium. Onion soup, fried rice, and noodles were great! Another positive was the cleanliness of both the restaurant and the bathrooms. The lighted and dimming mirrors in the restrooms were a nice touch.
Visited Kobe Steakhouse in New Tampa and had an incredible experience! Our server, Tuan, was truly amazing—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend trying the Kobe Trio; it's enough for two and absolutely worth it. Great ambiance and fantastic service overall🤩
ICHIBAN! What more can I ask for. Service was great Atmosphere was great and most importantly the the food was great! If you happen to stop by make sure to ask for Ichiban as you're chef. You'll enjoy great laughs with amazing food! Already planning the next visit, would highly recommend.
This was hands-down, the best hibachi experience that we have ever had. “Winnie the Pooh” was the best chef we have had. We have eaten at a lot of hibachi restaurants, all over the country and even outside the country. He didn’t do the same jokes or tricks. He was unique and very funny.
Ichiban was amazing! Funny and entertaining. Love this location! Will continue to come back here to New Tampa! Ethan and Ichiban were an amazing combo and made us all feel special! Sooo much food!!!! And it was delicious!

Amazing dinner for my friends birthday. We have been to Kobe’s on many occasions but this time was by far the best. The New Tampa location is great and spacious. When it comes to our waiter Javier, he was by far the best waiter I have ever had. He was so attentive to my children’s needs and what all parties needed for a great experience. He brought cupcakes for all our girls so they didn’t feel left out for the birthday celebration. Our chef was Randy and he was very skilled and sociable. Food was great. Overall best experience we’ve had in over a decade there and again I can’t rave enough about Javier!!

Stopped in on a whim while traveling through the area. I am blown away by this place! I had the Tuna tataki which is my go-to meal. Firstly it looked beautiful, a lot of care had gone into plating the meal. I took a bite set my fork down and told my husband "I was not prepared for this. This is the single best meal Ive ever had!" The quality of the fish was top notch, i ordered it rare and you can tell. It literally was melting in my mouth. The outside was seared perfectly and had a bit of seasoning on it. This is the first time ive had that and it was amazing. The special ponzu sauce my waiter Tuan recommended complimented the fish perfectly.
Honestly the entire meal was amazing. The onion soup was the best ive ever had, very flavorful. My husband even commented on it and he usually skips the soup and salad. The ginger salad dressing tasted fresh and i believe was made in house or at least w fresh ginger, again something i eat all the time but this really stood out. The rice was cooked perfectly and the roasted vegetables were delicious. My husband had filet mignon and was very happy with his meal. He finished all the filet which he rarely does.
The service was great from the moment we stepped in the door. Our server Tuan was very friendly and helpful and just a pleasure to meet. The place was very clean and felt welcoming. We sat near the bar and i could see some serious artistry happening there. I wasn't drinking but I definitely want to come back and try a cocktail before we leave town.
I wish we lived near here so I could eat here often. I would absolutely be a regular! I would expect to pay much more for the quality of this food, and have to dress up. We didnt even have a reservation and we were fit right in. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

My partner and I came here for a date night on a Saturday evening. The wait time was minimal which was surprising given the time of day. We were initially seated with a large party of 6 at group seating but asked for a private booth and were accommodated immediately which I thought was very nice. Our waiter was excellent; he was very attentive to our needs, had a lot of patience, and gave us the perfect balance of attention and space to enjoy ourselves. Overall the food was excellent!! Large portions, cooked perfectly, and very authentic. Our overall experience was delightful and I would recommend the new location on Bruce B Downs to anyone. I look forward to visiting again. Job well done Kobe!!
My family came here to celebrate my twins' birthday. Mr nice guy was the chef... He was fun and did an absolutely perfect job! I appreciated how he used different utensils for the chicken and other food. Carlos was attentive and fun too! Javier was personable and attentive as well! Delightful experience. I was also very happy that they had a vegan option and kept it separate from the non vegan food. Very nice.

We went to Kobe for the first time and had a wonderful time. Our server was Tuan and he was training another server, Anthony. They were both so kind, attentive, and absolutely amazing. They made sure we had everything we needed and made the experience great! The food was well cooked and seasoned. We loved all our dishes. We will definitely be back!
