Great food..... nice setting.....owner and wait staff very accommodating
A quaint hole in the wall with all the necessities. A polite and speedy staff. An authentic flavor and atmosphere. The comfort of a hometown restaurant with the quality of the big guys. The Thai Tea is perfect and the chicken Panang is delicious (especially the left overs!)

This place is amazing and I'm totally hooked. I eat here at least once a week but would come more frequently if I could. My fave dish is the TSB noodles. I can't seem to replicate it anywhere else! Only not giving 5 stars because they forgotten small details on my To-Go orders like not adding spice when asked.

Excellent quality! Been going here consistently ever since moving to Carrollwood area. We probably go here about once a week at least ! Crab fried rice, chicken satay, and beef pad see ew are the “go-to’s”
Thai Sweet Basil is amazing! Their Thai dishes are bursting with authentic flavors. Whether it's Duck Curry or red curry, each bite is a delight. The service is excellent, making your dining experience enjoyable. If you love Thai flavors, Thai Sweet Basil is the point.
Neighborhood restaurant that has been in Northdale for quite a few years. Great Thai prepared as spicy as you like it. Meals at lunch also include soup and egg roll. Great, friendly and efficient service at a reasonable price. Plates shown were Thai Sweet Basil and Thai Sweet Basil Noodles. Be sure to check hours they are open. They close in the afternoon for a few hours before dinner.
I ordered using Ubereats, first time ever purchasing from them though I've interacted with the staff on many occasions. I really enjoyed my TSB Salmon, it came with white rice. Their curry duck is also amazing.
Update: we gave it another try...this time it was flavorful again! Pumpkin curry was delicious. Pad thai tasted on point! Great job🥳
Past review: Flavors don't seem to explode like they use to. Still very good. TSB rolls are really tasty. Pumpkin curry is good. Red curry and panang seem a bit duller than usual. Pad thai is good when there is foil on the to-go container-not constant. Tofu is very good. Spice levels are great.
The Thai sweet tea was amazing. Clean place with very friendly staff. I had the Thai Basil and it was great.
This is the best Thai food place I have tried in a long time, The price is the best I have seen in a sit down Thai place too.
Update 2019 - their prices have gotten a bit high. Still worth a visit. But not the best value anymore.
Ordered for the first time from here (using GrubHub)- we ordered 3 different dishes: Chicken Pad Thai, Amazing Chicken (with white rice), Chicken Pad See Ew, and pot stickers. Not only was everything fantastic, but the portions are HUGE and we'll be eating them for several days! Looking forward to dining in soon- and happy to read they take reservations (which is hard to find these days for most restaurants!) Thanks Thai Sweet Basil- we are big fans!

Been going here for over 5 years. The food is amazing!!! Hands down the best in the area. I moved and still drive here for the food!!
Stopped here by accident. We were planning to go to the Peruvian place next door but it was empty so tried Thai instead. Glad we did. The pad Thai and curry dishes were excellent but the “medium” hot. Luke use more heat.

My husband and I come here from time to time to get lunch or dinner. The food is always excellent. Never a dull dish. The coconut chicken soup is my personal favourite.
There aren’t a lot of sit-down customers, but every time we are inside there are people constantly coming in and out for take-out. It is no surprise why.
I would definitely give a sit-down visit a try. The ladies are very nice, the service is prompt and food always comes out fresh and hot.
