A Puerto Rican food truck that carries a small collection of "road side" favorites from the island. The food while pretty good does not compare in most cases to the real island experience. A fan favorite is the Alcapurria, a mash of green banana and yucca that is stuffed with a variety of fillings...beef, pork, chicken or crab. It's a little greasy but well worth a try. The Mofongo is another fave that gets stuffed as well with things like shrimp al ajillo (scampi), fried pork, chicharon de pollo (fried chicken pieces) and other things. They also have empanadillas which stateside people call empanadas. There is alot to like and it's worth a try. Hours and days of operation are limited so always check before going.

Best alcapurrias! They are massive, I had the corned beef with amarillos and it was delicious!

The food was excellent! The mofongo with garlic shrimp, outstanding! Flavour was on point. Generous portions and the Alcapurrias...well, the best I've ever had! Great service as well. We were going to take pictures but as soon as we tasted our food we couldn't stop eating! This food was so good we don't mind the drive from Seffner. Try La Fritanga De Toñita, you won't regret it!

I came to the Tampa area & I follow Alex Diaz on IG & decided to try this place. (I live in Orange Park about 3 hours away). I just wanted to try the alcapurrias. I ordered 3 beef alcapurrias & they were yummy & huge but tried a piece of my brother in laws jueyes (crab) alcapurria & it was amazing.I had to order 2 more to go. The service was great. I will be back ! Gracias por su servicio y amabilidad!
