I loved the food here! I also just loved how it’s such a small little in the wall type of restaurant. It’s fun how the mirror on the wall makes the room like twice as big lol.

These are the updated prices ! Food is yummy . The coffee is perfect always . The food is a bit pricy now but still yummy. I Recommend dabbing extra butter on the breakfast sandwiches . Cute lil cafe. Very homely atmosphere. Never eaten inside. I always take it to go! Recommend calling it in instead of ordering in person ..average wait for food is about 10 minutes.

Everyone is so very nice here. My husband and I are a Spanish-American couple and as insignificant as it sounds I thought it was very nice that the young lady took my husband's order in Spanish and mine in English :) The young lady at the register was so welcoming and the regulars asked us if we were for here or to go and then helped us with the menu!!! Definately a great community of customers and employees. Definately worth a visit mi amigos 🤗🤗👍👍

Rude Staff. Staffing in your restaurant is very important in having a business. If your staff is rude, then it makes people want to leave. Sadly, this was the case with this restaurant. Two ladies where rude when ordering and when I asked for recommendations, they role there eyes. Also I called at 2:25 when the restaurant closed at 3pm, to make a to - go order. The lady who answered the phone told me they where closed, when I say that they where closed at 3pm. She then passed the phone to a younger girl and whispered in Spanish "this girl doesn't understand, talk to her" . If there kitchen closes at 2:30, and there sign outside says 3pm, then there cooks need to stay till 3pm. Thats false advertisement. They turned down 10 orders that day due to pure laziness.

Love eating here! The staff is so wonderful & friendly! The pressed Cuban sandwiches are so good & have pulled roasted pork on them rather then sliced pork! Very juicy! My 2 sons love to get black bean & a cuban sandwich! On Friday's I enjoy getting the ox tail with yellow rice & black beans! My husband & I enjoy eating breakfast here once or twice a month! Hot cuban coffee is a great way to start the day!

It was good. I would return. Staff was sweet letting by us try things they made and didn't ask for.
Carrollwood Diner
STAY WAY. I went there this past week to try them out so I could go back there with my husband. I had one of the specials-Roast pork with 2 sides. I chose plantains which was okay and the yellow rice which was bland. The pork was very GREASY and tasteless. No seasoning or mojo. It has slices of raw onions on top. I got up to the bar to ask for soy sauce. The top of the bottle and the rim were FILTHY. When I went to pay by the cash register, they spoke to each other in Spanish. The waitress told the cashier to charge me $6.95, a dollar more. I drank water. I asked why and they cashier said that the waitress made a mistake and she should not have written it as a special. The waitress then erased it from the board. She told the cashier to give me back 50 cents. I was still over charged by 50 cents. I left $1 tip. Fifty cents is not much but it was the principle involved that got me. I eat out a lot and I told them that I would never come back. There are so many good restaurants in Carrollwood. BTW, I am not Latina but I speak Spanish fluently.

Good, authentic Cuban sandwich. We got ours pressed which was done to perfection. The Cuban bread was delicious. Their sign declares "the best Cuban sandwich in Tampa". Probably not the best but very good. Sandwich, chips and soda for two came to $14. Worth a try.
