Dinner in the mountains with decent food and great service. Eggs and potato hash was good. Wrap was worth a skip. Steak was good. Great location right off the street and plenty of space to park.
This place is a great diner with plenty of choices for meals. I had breakfast, biscuits and gravy with eggs N taters. It was quite delicious. My partner got a Buffalo chicken wrap with extra crispy fries, which was also delicious.
Yes, this is an older authentic diner on the mountain top and it shows. However, the food will amaze you. We stopped in here twice on our recent trip to Tannersville and greatly enjoyed our meals. For dinner we had their triple decker ham and cheese club sandwich and the patty melt. The club was insanely fresh and well put together. Both were excellent but the patty melt took the cake! BEST beef patty we've had anywhere in a long time. The quality of the burger meat was excellent! We highly recommend! The cole slaw and fries were delicious. Their ice tea is delightful. On our second trip we had breakfast. We got two scrambled eggs with bacon, home fries, and toast. Fantastic breakfast!! You definitely need to stop in at Selena's if your visiting or driving through Tannersville.
Good diner I like the multi options and all the food was good especially after hiking at kaaterskill fall.
Amazing food and service! Fall off the bone charred chicken! One of the best chicken's I've ever had. The staff is super nice and the diner atmosphere is truly welcoming! Will definitely come back in the future. If I had to give it a more accurate rating definitely 9.45/10!
Stumbled upon this diner on the way home from a quick ski trip to belleayre - great pit stop for the area! Lots of offerings and food comes out very quickly. Average diner pricing. Ended up seeking out the place the next time we went to ski, so kept us coming back.
Haven’t tried their pizza so can’t speak on that.
My husband and I went to this diner when we’re visiting for the weekend. We love their breakfast, it was delicious. It was a fast service and they’re very tentative. Dinner is good as well and has a lot of options. Very happy we ate and Definitely worth taking a bite if you’re in the area (:
Try to come here every time we go hiking/camping and it's always a pleasant experience. Wait staff are kind, courteous, and attentive. They always check on you throughout the meal to see if you are enjoying the food or need anything. Prices and portions are awesome. The atmosphere is definitely what you are looking for in a small town diner. Very cozy and enjoyable. Definitely recommend.
Food and service were simple but good - coffee was meh. Old style diner charm. Generous portions. Would definitely go again if I lived closer. They have real maple syrup(costs extra - didn't see it on the menu ), but you have to ask for it.
Quaint retro "hole in the wall" diner! Great vibes and GREAT staff!! the food never disappoints. Sadly I have only done breakfast here but have been visiting for many years. Any day there lot is full.......GREAT place!!
We had two delicious omelets here after a very chilly camping trip and it warmed us right back up. Both omelets were cooked perfectly and the potatoes seasoned well. The service was phenomenal. They were very quick and very friendly. The menu is massive so everyone will find something.
Great prices, huge portions, delicious food. I got the Hungry Man special ($15) and it was big enough for my fiancé and I to share. We paid extra for blueberry pancakes and corn hash. Everything was so good and comforting.
Unfortunately, they seemed to be understaffed for a very busy Sunday. The 3 waitresses did the best they could, but there were long wait times.
after skiing at hunter mountain, we were looking for a quick bite before heading back and was unexpectedly surprised by the quality of the food and the service was great (we didn't go at a peak time so there were relatively less people there). If I visit hunter again I think I would def go here again.
