We live in Wa state and visiting Angel Fire, NM friends. They took us to a restaurant in Taos, NM called "Antonio's Restaurant" where Guy Fieri visited and experienced Antonio's dishes. One dish was the Illegal Burrito. Another very amazing dish was called " Chile Relleno En Nogada" which is his signature dish. We met Antonio and had a spectacular night with him. He's very friendly to all his customers and spent a lot of time hanging with us at our table. This Restaurant highly highly recommended. The Taste of Mexico Restaurant , Antonio's " I have ever eaten in. My dish that evening was his Green Chili Stew/ Beef. šŸ˜ OMG, I loved it with my whole heart! Folks, I absolutely , positively, recommend you stop here! Great hospitality by Antonio himself. He served our dishes to us!!!! You can see the video of Guy Fieri at Antonio's on YouTube. Was shown on food Network as well.

I realllly loved this restaurant. Friendly to all, lots of gf vegetarian, vegan, and meat choices. Traditional well done Mexican food. They told me that in September , Diners- Drive-ins and Dives , had come and filmed them. Especially delicious was a house Speciality: Chile Relleno en Nogada, using finely ground and spiced beef inside a poblano (not spicy) chile.. with a most amazing sauce and garnished with pomegranate. I ate every bite. From regions around Oaxaca. Many specials as well. Nice bar, there was a tv.. but it wasn't obtrusive. Calm atmosphere, many different types of people there, outside terrace in good weather. Beautiful wooden tables. Wait staff very nice, paid a good deal of attention, but not too much. It's NM so fairly casual. Some people dressed up. Margaritas good! Guac.. spicy. Fun place. I WILL be back! P.s. I believe they do take out.

Delicious food, strong margaritas, and outstanding serviceā€¦ what more could one ask for? Visited Taos and received a recommendation for Antonioā€™s. Started with the frozen house margarita and the chips and queso. (Everyone in Taos charges for this so be ready for that.) Antonio himself greeted and served us. The wife wanted the chicken enchiladas but Antonio recommended the Mango Chicken Enchiladasā€¦ she was very happy with the outcome! Try not to laugh, I ordered the Mexican cheeseburger. Mexican because of the roasted green chilies on it. I was literally blown away by the flavors!!! If you order this, you may get snickered at but, you wonā€™t be disappointed!!! We were stuffed and satisfied at the end of our meal and reaffirmed that patronizing local establishments is 100% the way to go!!!

This is a nice quaint spot when first pulling into Taos from Santa Fe. It's a small but very comfortable And relaxed spot. Servers were friendly and the food was top notch. I had the green Chile burger and it was delicious. A bit over cooked from the medium i requested but still delicious. The enchilada plate was delicious.

The carne asada tacos were really nice, it came with four tacos. Service is also really nice. They allow dogs on the patio. The tres leches cake is so good! A great place to eat a quick lunch.

Couldnā€™t be happier with our lunch at Antonioā€™s! We had the enfrijoladas and a special which was crispy sweet potato tacos. Both were delicious! Green chili, salsa and guacamole were excellent as well! Great atmosphere and service. Chef Antonio served us himself! Highly recommend!

They only take reservations for 6 or more. We got there around 6:00 on a Sunday and every table was full. There are only about 10 tables. Outside seating was available but it was a bit chilly. There were seats at the small bar so we sat there. Took awhile for someone to acknowledge us, but it was super busy. Drinks were a bit pricey, $14 for Tito's and soda, but it was a large glass and a good pour. We shared the steak fajitas with rice, beans and delicious guacamole! All was tasty! Steak was sizzling and tender and a good portion. The owner Antonio took the time to chat with us even though he was busy waiting tables! His wife Sarah recommended the chocolate cake with raspberry and mango sauces. OMG! moist and delicious and large! Enjoyed everything! Would go back.

Being in Taos, I figured it was a great place to satiate my desire for some decent Mexican food. I did a little research and found Antonioā€™s which was just down the road from where I was staying. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and seated. The staff was extremely friendly and the service overall was excellent. I saw on the specials board a mushroom enchilada with sirloin beef tips that was billed as ā€œout of this universe.ā€ How can one not try that?!?! Letā€™s just say, from the first bite, I was floating off into outer space. It was absolutely delicious. Plus, the delicious chips and guacamole along with the option for gluten free beer.. Possibly the best Mexican food I have had in years. And the bonus was seeing all of the photos of Guy Fieri who visited in Sept of 2022. He picked the right place. And you should too!

We are locals and decided to check out Antonio's! It was recently featured on Diners Drive In's and Dives! The food was amazing only complaint on the food was the posole was over salted and the chicken to posole ratio was very off! All but one of the staff (blonde woman) were very cordial and accommodating! We will definitely go back for a date night!
