Absolutely wonderful! We were there last night and had grand time. The restaurant was modern and clean with a cozy fire. The food was delicious and service was top notch. The cappuccino flan was so superior and delicious. Definitely a go to again. Thank you!!

The food is okay in general, very nice server. Pato(duck) is good, with sweet potato (little bit too sweet for me), green noodle is great, sliced potato is a little bit spicy and the steak is okay. They’ve change the passion fruit cheesecake from rectangle to round. Cheesecake is a small! Cake come with a layer of passion fruit flavor jelly. Not sure what is the card payment fee for, is this common in NM?

Best food we had in Taos! Wonderful steak and Pisco sours. Great prices, too. Clean, modern and warm ambience. Unlike all the "rustic" places in Taos. Really enjoyed our dinner here! Try it out! A great change of pace.

We had a table of seven and all ordered different meals. Every meal was exceptional and we were very happy with our portions, which were generous. The food was well-seasoned. The prices were reasonable. The service was a little timid, but attentive and there was little ambiance. However, the food was the star and we will definitely be back, probably sooner than later.

We visited Taos the week before Thanksgiving and ate at Aji. The food was really excellent; atmosphere was nice, and the staff was really nice and accommodating. We liked it so much that we went back a second night to try more of the menu. We highly recommend this place.

Food tastes very authentic and tasted amazing. The lomo saltado and Payo were among the favorites, the ceviche was also to die for. Would highly recommend. If you come in the winter, the restaurant feels cold, I would recommend wearing warm clothes.

This place is absolutely amazing! Being a Taos local, I can’t believe it took us so long to stop in but happy that we did. Aji is our new local gem and we will be frequenting often! Located right next to Randal lumber, this discrete spot will blow your tastebuds away. Super friendly staff, nice ambiance and plates you want to lick clean. ENJOY!

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the empanadas and the duck with sweet potatoes. For dessert, we had the flan, which was also tasty. The service was good, and the servers are sure to come out of their shells a bit once they get a bit more confidence (they were both very young).

Tried Pato & Mar Y Tierra. The food tastes good, but the service is not good. 5 stars for the food, not the service. They should thank their chef for the 4.7 google review😅 During our visit, only one waiter serve all tables...The waiter is nice but too busy to take care of us. And they never answer the phone...Saw someone waiting for a long time at the entrance to order takeout.

I work at a nearby establishment where we refer our guests here and receive a wave of positive feedback. I have been wanting to try. The meal i had tonight was exceptional (Tallarin Verde) and lives up to every bit of the praise showered by our guests. I will undoubtedly return to try more on the menu and also to dine in with a date or friend(s)/family. Thank you, Aji. Keep doing what you are doing. You are hitting homeruns nightly in the kitchen. Sincerest compliments to the chef.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for dinner here on 2/10 for her birthday. My goodness! This place was unbelievably quaint, extremely intimate and pumped out some of the best food we have ever had. Ceviche was knock your socks off good. She had the Paella which revealed more delicious seafood with every bite. I enjoyed the ribeye thoroughly and that corn pudding is the most delicious thing I have eaten in the past calendar year. Absolutely top notch. Hats off to all involved at this establishment.

Alright dining experience. We likely came on a busier than usual night. Wait staff was kind and attentive but fully backed up. Calling directly for a reservation is recommended. Street Ceviche was good and picante. The Aji Burger was solid but nothing too special. The fried plantains were good. The side room with the cool leather tables and woven seats was freezing. All seated in this room asked for the stove to be turned on. Thankfully it was turned on after we asked, but heating a room takes time. I recommend the staff consider this for busy nights.

The pisco sours were a bit on the thin side. The food was really good, but the portions were a bit on the small side. THERE WAS NO AC! hot as heck in the restaurant. It's hard to enjoy food with sweat running down my forehead. W/O ac I wouldn't go back in the summertime.

Best restaurant in Taos for the price. Anybody who says this place is disappointing just doesn’t know Peruvian food. The Pisco Sour, the Ceviche Nikkei, the Paella, all incredible. My wife and I have had legit Peruvian food in South America and this holds up. This is your sign to go.

I'm writing this review while still at the restaurant, because Aji is that good. This is my new favorite restaurant in New Mexico; every dish was exceptional and well-balanced. 10/5

Don't let the lack of curb appeal steer you away from this place. The grounds aren't well kept but the restaurant is very clean and homey. The ceviche starter was wonderful and the wine very good for the price. The main dishes were all cooked perfect and the seasonings are what make all the dishes.
