Tiwa Kitchen Restaurant - Taos - Photo album

This little restaurant set back off the road, is a Native American gem. The frybread Burger was amazing; the patty was homemade, juicy, and lean. The frybread was to die for! The fried zucchini was crispy and delicious. Everything was made to order and totally worth the wait. I washed it down with a
We ordered Indian Tacos whenever we found them on the menu. All were good. This one was exceptional! The best that I’ve ever had. I’ve had dozens, I’ve even judged at the Pawhuska Indian Taco Championship, but none were as good as this one.
Couldn’t find a place without an hour wait on a Thursday for some reason. Ended up driving out to Tiwa’s. Great attitude from the drive through lady, she told us all about every dish and answered all our annoying questions with a smile. Had the best Indian tacos I have ever had, Indian tea was great
The tea and the taco were amazing! Honey and powdered sugar like grandma used to put on her fry bread. What a great place! Definitely our go to when we hit Taos!
Absolutely delicious! The fry bread taco with beans and green chili, just finished it, wish I had gotten two. They have great vegetarian/ vegan options, just ask for no cheese. Bread is all nondairy, internet will give you fry bread recipes with milk, but that’s not the traditional way. Tiwa Kitchen
Drive thru only currently but a MUST stop if you are visiting Taos Pueblo or in the area of Taos. Vegetarian friendly. 🌿
So here's the thing, I loved this place. They are drive through only right now, just a little family gig. They were all fantastic to talk to, the service was fantastic and really just an enjoyable time. Best place in Taos, hands down! Definitely get the blue corn pancakes with chokecherry and anyth
Amazing fry bread burgers—seems to only be drive-thru only these days, as we would have sat down if it was an option, but delicious nonetheless. Chokecherry lemonade was also delicious.
Saw your restaurant on America Outdoors with Baratunde Thurston on PBS. Very impressed by the outdoor oven and can't wait to taste the bread, Debbie & Ben. We will stop by, hopefully in the near future.
Absolutely stunning, and so exciting to be able to try some Native American cuisine. I love the tea, and the Tiwa taco. But honestly this is the kind of place where you can order anything and get a winner. Highly recommend and I will be back while I'm still in town!
