We love Los Machetes, and we just found that they remodeled the restaurant and upgraded the plates and silverware. I ordered Squash Blossoms quesadilla and my daughter got the Huitlacoche one, my husband got menudo grande and cafe de olla, and my toddler the Dino nuggets with fries. We ate everything! The food is plenty and tasty.

Great “machetes” for lunch! I never try a machete before and there were many options to put on your Machete, the woman who attend us said that we can choose two options and combine it. It was the best suggestion because my machete was great! I also ordered a natural watermelon juice, it was delicious. Highly recommended. One machete is sufficient, but if you still hungry another one and the price is good.
Have been coming here for almost 2 decades and now I bring my own son and he absolutely loves the food here! Best authentic Mexican food (from Mexico city D.F.) that you can find in town! Their staff is so welcoming and respectful. This is a mom-and-pop shop that has stuck around while surrounding businesses have left ! I have been bringing friends and family and had nothing but great remarks.
Definitely recommend trying out the pastries!
AMAZING food - if I could select more than 5 stars, I would. We tried several different entrees and they were all seriously incredible. The owner was really friendly, helpful, and attentive. It genuinely is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, 10/10 we will absolutely be coming back!

Always an amazing time going to Los Machetes. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is very inviting, and the decor on the walls has always been one of my favorite things to look at in any restaurant. They've had a lot of different maps and photos of Mexico City, they've also had sugar skull portraits and historical photos of life around Mexico.
My wife always gets the chicharron quesadilla, which is so delightfully tasty that I cannot describe. I don't think I could recommend that dish more. Definitely go here!
The food was delicious. The owners were friendly. The service was great. It's an authentic Mexican food experience. I can't recommend it enough.
