Excellent carne asada tacos!! The best I have ever had. We are happy to have found a simple and very affordable place on the west side. Loved the cheese enchilada on flour and the chimichanga was super crispy and so good.

Very Good... except the mayo. Had a good experience here. The food was good mexican, my wife said the Chile Relleno was the best she's had since our favorite closed (Jalisco's - just around the corner from here). But, instead of sour cream, they squirted a *ton* of mayo over everything - yuck. Scrape off the mayo (or be sure to specify no mayo when you order) and it would be quite yummy.
We'll probably go back, but specify no mayo.

It was our first time coming here. Oddly it was because another Mexican restaurant was backed up and I was sooo in the mood for a great Mexican dinner. I was not disappointed. The wait was not bad at all, the normal about 15 minutes. The chips were fresh and crispy. Not oily like some other places. Just right!! The salsa had some heat to it. THANK YOU!!! To many places think mild is the way to be. It was just right. Didn't burn the mouth out but had the zing. We got the chimichanga and enchilada combo. Both with the shredded beef. These things were fat and plump. A lot of beef in them. The guacamole was fresh and tasty. This meal was tasty all the way down to the refried beans and rice. A really good portion of tasty food and an excellent price. Inside the building is more of that hole in the wall feeling. So if you are looking for high end this is not it. It is that down to home comfortable feeling. As I was walking out a man came in to play the guitar for live music. This place is a hidden gem. I can't wait to go back. Thank you for the great dinner.

I've been coming here for years. Best Mexican food in Utah. Always fresh always fast and the sizes are huge. It is more authentic Mexican than tex mex. Highly recommend.

Above average. The pork was seasoned very well. Chips were really good. Rice and beans were excellent... not too wet or dry. Price was reasonable. Salsa wad on the hotter side and not chunky. Lots of booths to get comfortable in.

The place was busy - a sign of a good place to eat. I got the Breaded Shrimp. There were ten of them and they were delicious.

This place is a hole in the wall. I ordered the carne asada plate and the combo #6 which includes a flauta (I ordered chicken), a chile relleno, and rice and beans. The carne asada had a lot of fat and gristle but the combo was delicious! I would recommend this place for the food and great service.
