This is a most welcoming place which we found by accident, looking for a later-night spot to dine while wine-touring in temecula. It was about 8:30pm when we peered in the window at a few diners apparently finishing up, and the owner spied us and waved us in with his booming voice "Yes, we're open!"). Tthere is an ample selection of cuisine on the menu - both Greek and Italian - which made choosing a challenge. Decent selection of wines for a smaller restaurant like this. We were most pleased with the food we ordered - we had ample portions, so we took a doggie bag back to the hotel. We also enjoyed conversation with the owner and his son (who attentively waited on us). I would heartily recommend this family-owned spot!

I am from Europe, so I went to this place. It is very authentic; I felt transported to Greece. In the background plays great Greek music (I love it), the owner is very friendly and warm lady. It is very clean. The food is wonderful. I tried almost everything on the menue during the years I lived in Temecula. For lunch I loved the different wraps with choice salad or French fries. In the evenings I enjoyed most the mixed platter, my husband loved the lamb chops - very good. On weekends the restaurant has great entertainment, beautiful Bellydancers and sometimes live Greek music. It is also great for big parties. If you want good food, great entertainment, great atmosphere, you are at the right place - The Greek Place -

We have been there so many times and everytime the food is outstanding. It's perfect because if you like Italian they have great dishes and if you like Greek they have great dishes. It's delicious and a very classy atmosphere.

It's a little gem of a restaurant. Atmosphere was quaint and inviting. Food was spot on. Delicious and authentic. I was welcomed by the family that owns and operates it. They tend to every detail to make sure all is perfect. I actually felt as if New friends had invited me to dinner in their home. Not intrusive at all, but I was by myself and they were hospitable and welcoming. If you haven't been, you must go. It will quickly become a favorite spot. I can't wait to go back.

We just enjoyed one of the most fabulous meals of our lives. The food was so fresh, extremely tasty, and quite bountiful; the flavors burst in your mouth like fireworks. If we lived in town, even in state, we would make this restaurant a regular dinner place. Incredible food, wonderful people. A true treasure. OPA!

Fish & Chips were huge and cooked to perfection! Burgers were great too. Great place for kids. The dinosaurs kept them completely entertained as they can get their pictures taken with each one. Staff is amazing! Looking forward to coming back.

Loved this place! Wine was excellent! The live music they had was a great touch too. Just a one man band and his guitar, but was a great touch to the type of space they had. Service was friendly and prompt. Got to speak with Maria, one of the owners for quite while as well. We will definitely come back soon.

We celebrated Valentine's Day at Pangaea last night. The food was delicious, as always! In addition, they had live music, a very talented guitar-playing singer/songwriter named Tom Begley (sp.?) His music added so much to the romantic mood of the evening. I hope they invite him back in the future.

The food was literally hand made, even the hummus was made in-house from boiled whole garbanzo beans instead of powder. Soups were SUPERB and the sampler appetizer plater was SCRUMPTIOUS!!! The ONLY gripe I have is that they only had 3 strips of gyro meat on the Gyro entree. It needed double that for the price we paid (in our family's opinion). Otherwise everything was super tasteful at this family-run restaurant. 👍👍

A very hole-in-the-wall place with a cozy setting! Service was very quick and attentive. The hostess was kind and knowledgeable! The lunch and dinner menu are similar, I'm guessing the only difference being the portion sizes. The salads feature perfectly fresh and crispy produce and the falafel is the best I've had in a very long time! This is a great place to stop by for some home made Greek or Italian food!

The ambiance is very pleasant, inviting, family oriented, great for big parties, they offer catering for larger gatherings. When you walk in the front door you can see a lot of business owners promoting themselves which is refreshing to see because it means that they are trying to promote a tight-knit community where you support one another. The first room that she walk into as you're passing into the dining room is a wine tasting bar. Throughout your dining experience you may see different couples of people coming in to try the wines. I took notice that these customers really enjoyed the conversations they had with the owners and family employees, and so they would sit in the dining area in order food afterwards which is not something you see very often. My husband and I always meet very nice people with interesting stories to tell while we're sitting about 6 ft away at our dining tables. Our server, Kimberly is attentive, inviting, warm, extremely knowledgeable, and honest. Here you will find traditional dishes, tasty food, fresh seasonal quality ingredients while supporting a Family owned business. They have amazing customer service. The wine tasting area is doing well although it's Covid. We ordered two Appetizers: - Mushrooms - Margherita bread with Marinara sauce My first time here with my husband Kimberly had recommended we try the mushrooms on the appetizer menu. The mushrooms are so delicious and it keeps them coming back. They are cooked in a light olive oil, rosemary, minced garlic, carmelized onion, chives, possibly parmesan cheese, and lemon juice. And on our second visit here we just had to order it! Mushrooms are tender with a bite, just the way I like it. My husband and I ordered their Margherita bread when we had inquired if they had something similar to Bruschetta. The Margherita bread was reminscent of Bruschetta and Margherita flat bread pizza. On a bed of french bread, warm fresh slice tomato, minced basil, melted Morzarella cheese top there was crumbles of fresh parmesan, with a drizzle of olive oil. On the side it was served with a saucer of Marinara sauce that was made fresh by the chef. This something I definitely would like to order again. Our main dishes we ordered: - Spaghetti and Meatballs - Alfredo Pesto pasta My husband ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs dish. The meatballs down to the sauce were packed full of amazing flavor. The owner was the only chef working that day. My husband said this is unlike any spaghetti has had before and it's one of the best spaghetti dishes he's had within two years. The meat was very tender, sweetened tomato sauce, rich in color. The Marinara sauce had fresh diced tomatoes, tomatoes sauce, fennel seeds and other ingredients I couldn't put my finger on. The spaghetti sauce is also served with the margherita bread as a dipping sauce. My Alfredo Pesto pasta dish was very refreshing. I can honestly say I haven't had anything like it but I love Alfredo pasta and I love pesto sauce so I thought why not have these two worlds combine. The noodles were soft, al dente. When I expressed my concern for such a strong taste of pesto in the dish Kimberly had asked the chef to add a bit less than regular. She directly explained to me how the Alfredo Pesto Pasta has heavy whipping cream in the creamy cheese sauce that will cancel out any bitter taste from the sweet basil or regular basil. She did notify me that the basil is seasonal ingredients so depending on what time of year it is they will have sweet basil or regular basil. They do not use any cheese powders. Only fresh cheese. The reheated leftovers from Pangea Restaurant still taste delicious! Pangea is a Greek and Italian family owned business. They treat veterans very well. Their infectious charm and great quality ingredients, made-to-order food keeps you coming back. They serve a large diverse crowd of customers, it's liked by many. I can't wait to go back and dine here. My husband and I are definitely loyal customers.
