This was a unique, fun experience definitely worth repeating! Fresh cookies with your choice of ice cream in between was special.

Just ice cream in a regular or waffle cone is also available. Eat inside, a table for two outside, or take it with you.
The Baked Bear is located right in the heart of San Tan Village with easy access off the 202. Parking was challenging but not terrible for a Saturday.
This place topped off a fun shopping experience. Highly Recommended!!
So good! Went for this first time this past weekend and it was amazing. You get to pick your top and bottom cookies (or you can do brownies or doughnuts), the ice cream in the middle and any toppings you want as well.
You get to watch them make right in front of you.
There was a line when we came this past weekend, but I am sure that is because they are still new.
The place has limited seating and limited parking out front, but there is parking nearby and seating available if you walk a few steps down the street outside.
The staff was quick and friendly.
Will definitely be back!
Okay, superior service! My husband and I went in on a date an we are in totally twintoddler no sleep can’t make a decision to save our life mode, and the girl behind the counter (Tuesday night) helped us find the perfect combos giving us recommendations and advice.
Everything is home baked in house and boy did it make a difference in the taste. The atmosphere was fun located in San tan college it was the perfect place to take a walk.
Recommendation: for best experience do a single scoop (it is still a lot of ice cream) but pay an extra 50 cents to split the scoop into two flavors.

This place is worth every calorie! It is by far the best cookie I've ever had and then add on 3 scoops of mouth watering ice cream- i could go on about it forever! The service was amazing, he was very personable and happy.
We had incredible luck and got there right before a rush, but honestly, knowing what i know now, it is worth a wait.
Will DEFINITELY be coming back! (and probably sharing a cookie because they are huge!)
I found this place on Google maps and figured we'd try it out. Out of the 5 of us, we all picked out something different and were all satisfied with what we got. The prices are definitely reasonable and there is a good variety of flavors and cookies to choose from. It is also centrally located to lots of other little shops and restaurants you can walk to.
Love The Baked Bear! It's the only place that has truly good gluten free ice cream cookie sandwiches AND they always have GF cookies on hand, even late at night. Too many other places run out of their GF cookies/baked goods early in the day and never bake anymore, but not here. They're always stocked, which is great.

OMG!! Looking for a place to cool down. This place was perfect! First you choose your cookies (either the same or different). Next you figure out what ice cream flavor you want. Then you might as well add a topping. To me, it’s best when your sandwich is hot-pressed, which just warms the cookie a little.
OK...I’m having a moment. If you are ever in Tempe you need to make a special trip here. You will not be disappointed!
I ordered an ice cream sandwich. I thought this was really good. It definitely didn't taste like frozen packaged ones from a gas station or grocery store. This was two in house baked Red Velvet cookies with a scoop of Blackberry Crumble ice cream in between. I really enjoyed my order. This was my first time in and the employee was very friendly. The only negative was that the inside was small. Overall, if you have a craving for a delicious ice cream sandwich, I would highly recommend. 🍦🍪
Came here to try the vegan chocolate chip ice cream, and I’m so glad I did!! It was definitely better than store bought vegan ice cream. Now all they need are more vegan flavors, and vegan cones!
This place is amazing! We were at the San Tan Mall in Gilbert yesterday and we happened upon their location. We decided to check it out and they were so nice. We got a brownie and a cookie with some amazing s'mores ice cream and whipped topping. It was heaven. Everything about this place is fantastic. It is for sure a place we will be visiting again either our kids. They do a variety of sandwiches with options for cookies, cookie/brownie, brownies or even a doughnut! They also have pazookies that you can do also. On top of that they have several toppings that you can add to your already amazing ice cream sandwich! For sure a place to check out if you have a sweet tooth!
Who doesn't love an ice cream sandwich made with cookies or a brownie?! This was a great place to get some dessert. We got the combo of cookie and brownie between birthday cake, and another flavor of ice cream.
Basically a gluttony of everything ice cream sandwiches! The line can take a while to move if everyone is waiting on the fresh cookies to come out of the oven. Would recommend asking for extra ice cream in the sandwich since two cookies can be quite rich without enough of it. Definitely something to try!

I got a cookies and cream cookie, french toast ice cream, brownie bits, and a cinnamon roll cookie. We appreciate you being open and thank you for being patient with our indecisive decision making.
I was so excited to find gluten free cookies! I had heard a lot about this place so it was great to actually try it first hand. They put the cookies on wax paper on each side when making the sandwich, so that it didn't directly touch the sandwich press. The cookies were good and soft! The cookies + ice cream was a great combo, a little sugar overload, so make sure you have a sweet tooth. I didn't quite appreciate the gentleman serving me my sandwich hitting on me though and not being very coy about it, other than that, the cookie sandwich was great and I'll definitely go back the next time I'm in town.
Delicious! Build your own ice cream sandwich! Cookies, brownies, donuts as the “bun” and a dozen or some delicious ice creams to pick and toppings around the side! Yum!
Best ice cream sandwhich I have ever had!!!! Eyes almost came out my sockets on the first bite, was that amazing!!! The place was VERY clean, OCD clean. They were EXTREMELY helpful, they knew right away that we were first timers, tried a few flavors and all were GOOOOOD! Extremely fast, in and out in like 2 minutes. Will definitely be back for more this week!
You can't go wrong with freshly baked cookies and brownies with well made icecreams. And, The Baked Bear serves them out deliciously. The crew here was very friendly and proffered excellent customer service. Hopefully, this business can continue to operate after AZ's minimum wage hike.
This is an adorable new addition to San Tan mall!! My husband and I both got brownie sandwhiches, his with mint ice cream and mine with bear batter (it's blue, it's delish, try it!). Will be returning!
