I recommend Teharu Sushi Restuarant. 👍👍
Pros:
- A cool conveyor belt experience.
- Nicest staff I have ever met.
- Very affordable
Cons:
- Not somewhere you'd bring a big party of people/your whole family
- Seating is limited
This was my first time to a revolving sushi restaurant and it was such a cool experience. They have the main sushi bar seating, but they might have booths. 🍣 It seems like the sushi options are neverending because something new is always in front of you. The staff was quick to refill our drinks and were super nice. 🤗 This was the best priced sushi we have had and we are stuffed. The sushi was good. 😎 I recommend taking a friend, 2 at most, because the bar seating is right next to each other, and you don't want anyone to be left out. 🙁 Definitely a gem. 💎
I love this place. Its the most affordable revolving sushi in the Valley. We come visit from Tucson and this place is a must go. The sushi is fresh , everything tastes good. The small portions gives you room to try many more things than you would have been able to.
The only complaint I have is when we went there last night, nobody refilled our water. We had to ask EVERY SINGLE TIME. As someone in the restaurant business for the past 12 years…. That is so not okay. We had to ask not once but every single time we needed more water.
I understand they were busy but they seemed annoyed that we kept asking for refills, but trust me its annoying as the customer to have to ask for the DAY-1-server stuff. Customers simply should not have to ask for more water. 🤷🏻♀️ That is Service101.
Overall Ok.. I love Sushi.. my husband not so much. But this place gets 4 stars and not 3 purely because it is 100% wheelchair accessible. Which if you read my reviews know it’s extremely important to me. Our server was kind and gave good recommendations on sake. The variety was a bit lacking overall, the sushi I did choose was not fishy or lacked flavor. It’s definitely a fun spot and reasonably priced. I’d definitely come back with visiting family.
Since I discovered this place a few months ago I have gone almost every other week.
When you walk in make sure to put your name on the list right to the left so you can get in line for a seat or table. I have never been here when there wasn’t a wait to sit down, and I have gone at all different times and days. It’s always busy
I ordered 5 rolls to go, and my bill came to like $10. Each plate on the conveyor belt is around $2 and you just take what you want and keep the plates and the waitress counts them at the end to make your bill.
Highly recommend the jalapeño popper roll. It is my absolute favorite.
***Beware if you go within the last hour they are open though~they typically stop putting out new rolls at that time so you won’t get a lot of variety ***
EDIT- since my initial review I’ve learned you can ask for a menu and they will make you any roll you want !!!!! 5 more stars !
Conveyor belt sushi serving. Fresh food, excellent price point, a lot of varieties & the small portion allows you to try the many varieties.
Note:
-Please do not expect good customer service. 5 star review only because they serve fresh sushi at an unbeatable price.
-Wait time can be as long as 20 mins during peak time, for example dinner on Friday.
This place is an experience. The rotating selection of sushi is a sight to behold. With lots of variety and good prices it’s a fun place to meet friends. The sushi is good and the staff is friendly. The location is a little tricky to find but well worth the effort.
I’ve been coming here for over a decade. Decent atmosphere and a good value for sushi. Makes for a cheap date night. While picking off the conveyor belt is great don’t forget they have a menu you can order from as well.
The only sushi I will eat! Been coming here for years and I’ve never had a negative experience even when they are packed. So good. The best gyoza and vegas rolls.
I love love this place! The sushi is delicious and it's cheap. I love the revolving aspect. They do get busy now though cause it's reasonably priced so sometimes there's a wait but honestly it's worth it. You can definitely leave full for under $15
Teharu is a great spot to go to with friends. Especially ones who are new to sushi. Because it's a revolving sushi bar they can try out smaller portions of sushi to see what they like. The best part is that it's not expensive. They charge $1 to $3 dollars per plate.
There is two seating options. You can sit at the bar or at a table connected to the bar. If you are a bigger group the table option might be better. Only downside to a table is the poeple near the conveyor belt will need to grab the plates for everyone else at the table.
Great cheap place for sushi. I can get full for around $10. Took me few visits to try out their menu. Once I figured out what I like, ordering is fast and love the delicious items. Table service is alright, but understandable for the price tag and how busy they are.
